Meet Haley Summers! She was my first character on Valkyrie back when it was just a school site. She's my little Miss Identity Crisis<3 She grew up very wealthy. Her dad's a lawyer who apart from being promiscuous and cheating on his wife giving her a half sister, he really hasn't contributed much in her life. Her mother on the other hand is the editor and chief of Feminine Expressions which is one of the big fashion magazines in the world. Ever seen the Devil Wears Prada? Her mother is a lot like Miranda. In the fashion world, her opinion, is the only opinion. When she was kid though, Haley was also a chubber. Yes, she was fat. She was also smart, creative and very outspoken and yet her self esteem was at an all time low, or so she thought, do to the teasing, bullying, and ridicule she received at school in Valkyrie, and of the beautiful, and from her own mother who would sneer and insult with a viper tongue every chance she got, so Haley developed an eating disorder. She lost a lot of weight and as she did the popular crowd adopted her since now that she was thin, she was also the daughter of an immortal in the fashion world, rich and slowly Haley became a fashion queen of the school, always wearing the latest clothes, all designer, she became shallow and bitchy. Then, come last November (Valkyrie Time) on the trip to Vegas, she's roomed with a girl she used to be friends with who reminds her all she's missing. Haley then rejects the in crowd and tries to find herself. But Haley's been pretending for so long, who she actually is got a little lost. She starts partying, drinking, sleeping around. Lost but on her way, she ends up then sleeping with the wrong guy. Freddy Trulove, who secretly video tapes it the show and then makes Haley one of many celebrity kids with a sex tape out there. Because of the tape, Haley is disowned. She is now living with her half sister Rose and her semi-cousin Mary and working at Borders.

She is smart as a whip and has a viper tongue like her mother. She's not too judgmental although she does still have a snobbish tendency to judge a person's attire. She is stubborn, intensely stubborn and does not back down. She doesn't seem like someone who's got identity issues because of the fierceness behind her words but she is a very lonely girl. Currently she is dating Matteo Buchanan.

Meet Rosalyn Summers! She is the illegitimate sister of Miss Haley Summers. Her mother was a hooker in London and when Mr. Summers came to town for a case, after winning, some drinking for celebration, he ended up purchasing Rose's mother's services for an evening. Her mother's name was Felicity Connors, she was a runaway. She did have a brother who ended up fathering Mary Connors as well as she had a sister who lives in Maine in the U.S. Business had been bad for her lately so she remembered Mr. Daniel Summers, especially since he kept her around all week. So when she gave birth nine months later to a baby girl, she knew which client the baby belonged to and she named her as such. Rose grew up in London, being raised by a group of hookers until she was seven years old and one of the clients arrived early. Rose, or Rosie as she was called back then, was home alone. The seven year old lost her virginity that night. And she changed. Her mother got home to find her in the corner crying, a few twenties laid out on the bed for payment of the molestation, as if it would cover it. She was outraged and swore, no matter how desperate for the cash she got she would never do business with him, which was sweet in a way but why didn't she go to the police? Her mother then sent her to live with her Aunt in Maine. In Maine was Rose's aunt who was a waitress. It was a clean neighborhood, peaceful, and her aunt was kind. Rose began reading and just couldn't stop but her aunt, worried that the little girl was still too alone and anti-social from the trauma that she signed her up for dancing classes. Rose took to them like a fish to the sea. She was still anti-social but she loved dancing. She even went to a dance school in LA for a bit until she went back to maine to take care of her sick aunt. After her aunt died, she went to her father for the first time in her life. Needless to say, she came as a shock to Daniel Summers, his powerful wife and confused, headstrong daughter. She and her new sister Haley hated each other at first but after her being disowned and living with the demon summers((haley's mom) they bonded. Now she's living with Haley and her cousin Mary in an apartment in the Shaks.

Rose is very literate, she's a reader to the end. She's a dancer, ballroom. She doesn't feel any safer than on that dance floor. She is afraid to be close to anyone sexually as well as emotionally because she can't distance the physical from the emotion. Even the touch of a hand, when not done on the dance floor, can get her to tense up. She's very prudent, extremely judgmental. She feels half the world is simply inappropriate. She's ill-tempered and hard to get along with but she has a pure heart. She's just scared.... of everything. Currently she is single.

Meet Mary Connors! She is Rose's cousin from her father's side. So really she's not blood related to Haley at all, I like to think of them as half cousins but the two are really close now, more like sisters.

Mary is opinionated and stubborn. She is witty and clever, incredibly intelligent but at a loss for what she wants to do in her life which is a problem seeing as she's a junior in college despite only being 18. She needs to figure out what she wants in life. She is so smart and such a good person its a bit of a waste having her with no ambition. She's a great friend and not afraid to speak out for what she thinks is right. She is currently head over heels for her best friend Reed Turner and benefitting with Tim Suresh so she doesn't have to think about it but she is currently, technically single.
