In the year 2050, things certainly have changed from the world Harry James Potter once knew. Following the deaths of the Dark Lord and the Chosen One, the wizarding world has settled into a tranquil peace, all conflicting issues handled through negotiation or avoided altogether.
Hogwarts, now run by a muggleborn witch and happy-go-lucky half-blood, is no longer just Hogwarts. Without Albus Dumbledore or Harry Potter to deal with the issues at hand, avoidance, as said, became the most direct route to solving problems. By combining the schools of Beaxbatons, Durmstrang, and Hogwarts, the castle has not only collected a diverse gathering, but also a sense of security.
The Ministry, realizing their mistakes in the previous war, doesn't intrude in Hogwarts affairs nearly as often as they once did. Afraid of making the same errors, the Ministry prefers to remain peacefully oblivious to what is occurring within the castle.
But, it will be hard to avoid in good time.
A new group of terrorists, the new-age Death Eaters, have arisen. Followers, as they cleverly dubbed themselves, intend to follow in Lord Voldemort's unfinished path and fulfill all that he left undone. Wreaking havoc throughout the entire community, the castle especially, the Followers have put a damper in the community's plans for peace.
Mysterious muggle killings, the wiping out of disobedient pureblood families, the disappearance of highly important Ministry workers..
By slowly taking down all who once stood in Lord Voldemort's way, the Followers are achieving the goals their parents bestowed upon them. Pureblood is, after all, the only way to go.
With the help of a blonde, ambitious boy and his faithful league of miscreants, the possibility of Hogwarts deteriorating is increasing by the second.
