Shambala
Shambala is a literate RP board, created by experienced RPers. It is set in a Final Fantasy-esque setting, but has its own original and unique storyline, and its members are all veteran RPers who make for great storytelling.
Something happened 300 years ago... something that destroyed the world.
Now, all that remains is a few chunks of earth, floating in the air around the broken planet, held in place by a mysterious current of energy known as 'ether'.
In these chunks of earth, somehow, humanity survived.
300 years after the great disaster, civilization has flourished again in the floating islands of Shambala, thanks to the use of magic and remnants of the old technology.
Upon the creation of the greatest invention, the Aerosailer, the people of Shambala can finally leave their small islands... and explore.
