Welcome to Liverpool, England, part of the great nation of Great Britain. This city is home to one of the country's most prestigious boarding schools, Baylor Academy. It was founded twenty five years ago by the man himself, Mr. Edward Baylor. Shortly after he had contributed his money to the building of the school, and the hiring of teachers and such, he passed on. The school was then passed onto one Geofrrey Alexander. He is the current headmaster of the school, and has a tendency to rule with an iron fist. But don't let this fool you, he manages to crank out a good batch of students every year, no matter what they come in with in the first place. Every year, about ninety five percent of the students graduate, and about eighty five go to colleges. So really, this is a very prestigious boarding school. But who really cares about that?
Before you roll your eyes and think we're any old school, just think about the way things are at the other schools you've seen. Two ruling classes, one male and one female. Undisputed. Popular. Rich. Everyone wants to be them. Now, what if there were suddenly another group, what if you had four ruling classes. What then, would you see a friendship, or would you see a bitter rivalry, a pair of power hungry cliques who would love to rule the school. Thats what we've got. Ten girls, ten guys, four cliques, and years of high school to come. Theres a rift in this school, caused by the rivalry from the two cliques. You either pick a side, or get caught in the crossfire. Whether your lucky enough to run with the big shots, or your stuck at the bottom, your decisions are clear. You side with one or the other, you don't cross boundaries. You don't date outside your groups, the unspoken rules are clear. So what, thats what you think? Hah, gossip spreads like wildfire here at this school, and there's nothing we love more than an anonymous gossip agent. Watch your back, because the rivalry has been going for years, and don't think you'll escape the wrath of one big mouthed gossiper. Bring on the catfights.
Lest you think the entire school is about our ruling classes, rest assured that there is more hidden drama than one would presume. Students from across the globe come to this school, some for the academics, but most to get away from their past. Take for instance a set of twins, both at the school, both for different reasons, but neither of them academic. Or how about the seemingly perfect little brunette, whose really hiding a deep dark past. How are you to know whether your chem partner was at one point tried for murder? How are you to know that your roommate purposefully overdosed on ibuprofen to try and kill themself? You wouldn't, unless someone accidentally let it slip, and someone has. Lately, little secrets have been spilling into the school gossip, secrets that weren't mean to be spread. Looks like someone's been hacking the computers, finding out things never meant to be heard. Its only a matter of time until the big secrets come out, and all hell will break loose. Unless someone can catch our anonymous gossiper ...
