Based Loosely upon Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series
At one point New York was the capital of Runaways. In fact half the kids seen on the street were probably runaways, no matter how clean they look. But something in the air changed and runaways are no longer coming to New York. In fact the ones in New York were the first to move on to the new choice location: Walkerton.
Walkerton is a fairly small town. It seems like there are only twos of anything in the town, of anything that matters anyway. Two malls, two high schools. Walkerton has never been heavily publicized other then births, deaths, and engagements in the town. So Walkerton was the perfect place where these runaways could never be found. Right?
Three months after the runaways started coming to the small town, they found a warehouse, similar to the one in New York on Fifth and Rose. This was the new runaway headquarters, if you will, and it was here were new runaways would gather first. The chosen leaders, Graham Nylund and Jamie Roberts decided on keeping the same rules as the one's from the Fifth and Rose warehouse, including meeting back every third Friday of the month. Being such a small town, the group of runaways grew to know others and would generally stick together in a group, or at least with on other person. However even this would not prove safe.
At the same point that the runaways started coming others did too. Vampires and Werewolves were also seen as runaways since there were no physical differences, other then the vampires being very pale. These two groups did not get on very well and fights would break out between them. At one point three runaways got caught in the middle of a fight and ended up dying. No one knew where these fights would break out.
While some of the vampires only drink the blood of wild animals, more and more are coming that feed on human blood as well. The two groups of vampires likewise don't get on too well either but will band up against the wolves.
So what is to become of these groups of people as the town gets bigger? Will there be more brutal killings of the runaways? Or will the vampires and werewolves tear the town apart until nothing is left? Only the runaways and humans will be able to decide.
