Diem, my sister, took this picture of me. We were my the mall. I didn't like my hair color that summer.



This was last year. I was in the library doing some research when my friend found me and took a picture.



This is one of the most recent pictures of mine. This was done right before homecoming. I think I was at Bare or Nonsense.



This was last year aswell. I made the clothes and my friend used this as his photography final project. He had gotten an 'A'!



This was also that horrid summer with my off do'. Here, I was with some friends down at the Pier. I love the pier. Especially underneath it where no one can find you...drinking.



This was my homecoming dress last year. Don't I look hot?



This was just this past weekend. I was with some friends and our car broke down. It was raining so we had to wait under a bridge-type-thing and wait for AAA.



This was at my Sweet Sixteen Party last year. Bridget and Anne came in before I finsihed getting ready and took this pic.



Hehe, this is 'Santa' at the mall in Valkyrie last year. I was with Anne and Bridget shopping and we just had to get a picture with Santa. So, we put him in some designer sunglasses and took funny poses with him.

So, the story behind this photoshoot was that I was visiting my grandparents in Greece this past summer and this guy like totally asked me to be in his shoot. First, I thought he was so crazy pervert, but my grandmother told me he is this very famous photographer in Athens. I was flattered and excited, so of course I said yes. So this was how I had re-dyed my hair to a darker brown, this was the summer with a lighter tone.



OK, we started out kinda plain, but I liked it. My dad says I look like my mother a lot here. Even though I can't remember as much anymore, I'm not complaining.



The backround made me feeling like I was at a bad Guns & Roses concert in the 80s, but I loved the outcome.



Then, I had an outfit change. I loved this outfit, I had a ton of fun in it. I was joking around a lot behind the scenes.



The photographer said this was probably the best shot he had ever gotten. I was flattered.



This one was my favorite. It was on accident as well. My hat started to fall off so I tried to reposition it right as he took it. Funny though.



OK, the last one is a funny story. So, my grandmother called me a couple weeks after I got back from vactioning their and I guess a lot of people have this poster. It kinda scares me that I'm a pin-up girl in Greece, but, hee hee. Loving it.

Events & Parties



My aunt took me to a art gallery up in LA one night. It was a gorgeous collection, and I saw some A-List celebs.



This was at a birthday party in The Valks. I don't think it was too long ago either.



This was at Nonsense. I remember. I had gotten so wasted that night...I think Reed had to take me home.



Can't quite remember where this was taken. I think another Valks party. This was someones deck...Yeah, quite...nice. A lot of Valk parties are with adults. This isn't the hard-core Valk party. These are usually parents bring their kids and they sit around with champagne and soke up each other poshness. And the kids can't have anything because their parents are around. Quite boring.



This is a Valk party that I like. This night I forget where we all had met. But, it got crowded fast.

Family


A very screwed up family makes a great Hollywood movie. But, my life isn't one...yet. I love my father and sister a lot. And I always dream of my mother coming back to us...someday...well, probably never.


This is my father, Riley Hayes. I admire him a lot. He helped me a lot after everything that happened before I lost all that weight, and he has given everything up for my sister. This was this past October at one of his charity balls for helping some kids in thrid-world countires. Yes, he is the vice president of this group of people that go over the third-world countires to help adults and children get the medical help and stuff that they need. I went last summer to keep some kids company. It was the most inspirational and moving expeirence I ever did.


My sister, Diem, is fourteen, but she'll be turning fifteen soon. She is my best friend. We are complete opposites but we get along great and I would hang out with her anyday.



This is the only picture my dad gave me of my mother, Maria Chase. It was a roungh time in their relationship, my dad told me, and she just...left...with another man. As hard as it was for my dad to get over her...you don't know how much he just wants her back.



This is my cousin Bianca Rivera. Her mother is a sister to my father. They just moved here this year, so this is Bianca;'s first year at Valkyrie. She is a junior, like me. She had a roung past year. To the love of her life being killed in a car accident to getting into some drugs and heaving alcohol and partying. It got real bad. Thankfully though, she is here.



This is Aunt Shelley-Rose. She's the younger sister of my dad. She's not Bianca's mom, but another Hayes. My middle name was named after her. She lives here in Valkyrie and she often takes me shopping and to some high-class events in L.A.



As you already know, my father is Greek. Family is everything over there so I have many many family members that I see every holiday. This picture is at Christmas last year. That's my grandmother and four other of my cousins.



This is my dad's cousin's husband and his daughter. I met them at a charity banquet not too long ago.



Chanel and I. This past summer, I went to New York for a couple weeks to visit her and she took me to this club, and we met Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy. Yeah, big stuff.



Chanel and I again. Last christmas at a Valks christmas party. I forget what happened but it must have been funny.



Friends


I love my friends. We have had to good times together, from school to the city, I can look back at my life and go, "Damn, those were the best times of my life."


This is Bridget Ainsworth. She is my best friend. Her and Anne Lévesque. Sure, we have other friends but we are the closet together. We share everything together and have been dubbed the name of 'The Trio'. I remember one day I mentioned that are names spelled out BAD. How ironic. This picture was taken down at the beach during one of our hangs.



This is Anne Lévesque. My other best friend. This picture was also taken the same day Bridget's photo was.



This is my EX boyfriend Josh Stewart. We started to date in the beginning of the year. We were friends first, turned boy/girlfriend which we were both warily about. After a huge blowout at homecoming this year, we had seperated, but now, we are back together.
Hehe, didn't last long, we're over...again.
But, I don;t have the heart to scribble over his face.



Reed Turner has to be one of my best guy friends. He owns Nonsense, a club for most of us students at Valkyrie and the adults. He lives by himself, which can get really lonely. But, I now I can trust him. He is like my bug brother I never had.



Oscar Lyon. We both had a project in science together. Yes, I am smart, but science is not my cup of tea. He helped me with science, and I helped him on his 'cool'. Must have worked, since I've been seeing girls eye him now that otherwise would have looked at the other way. We still hang and talk. Sometimes his roommate, Antony Bastian, and I have to hall him out of his bed just to come to all the cool parties.



This is me and Hannah Monroe. She is Diem's roommate. This was earlier this year at a screening for one of Diem's short films. Hannah's pretty cool. I can see why the two are friends.



This is that guy from Greece. The one that took pictures of me. He is the funniest guy you will ever meet. And I love his vision with all the other photographs of nature/people/etc that he showed me.



This is me and Amberly Roberts. She is so nice and cute. I think this was an event at school sometime. I forget what for.



What the fuck? How did this get here? Well, Amanda and I were never friends, but the explanation of this picture is simple: Last year at Luke's birthday party he wanted a picture of his 'two favorite girls'.
You have no idea how hard it us it was to do this, and now when I see this want to throw up.



Ok, this guy is really young and works with my father. He is the funniest guy ever. This was taken at a charity benefit for my Dad's business. Diem and I were bored to tears but Chris here, he saved us from everlasting boredom with his witty comments and funny stories. This is what Oscar Lyon will be in like the next five years.

Valkyrie Recent Events

So, so far this year, Valkyrie has had a string of many successful parties and events (which I had attended all, of course.) Naturally there are cameras being passed around and a lot of kids hand out photos. I have gotten photographs back of myself at different events.

Back To School Bonfire At The Beach


I arrived early that night to help set up. It actually had been real hard to set up everything needed. The actualy bonfire, the food, the drinks, activites, and decorations. Here I was playing a 'thumb-war' with one of the guys, which determined who had to go get the equipment out of the shed. He had one. But, as I was going to get the stuff out of it, Bridget called my name and I forgot completely about it. So, that makes me think, if I would have gotten that stuff out, would I have gotten into my first 'cat fight' of the year with Alex?



Hehe, this was on one of my 'breaks'. Well, I got bored and decided to watch all the guys lift the wood. Haha. Damn, I look pale.



Bridget Ainsworth Birthday Bash


Well, I didn't stay at the party as long as I should have, since I left with Josh about three hours into it. But, Bridget snapped a picture of me heading towards her house with some Starbucks to finish setting the house up for the event.



Graveyard


I didn't stay at the graveyard game very long. But, I was able to get this nifty picture of me in the dark. What you didn't see was the pure blindless after the flash went off. I was blind for at least a half hour.



Homecoming '06


This was my homecoming dress this year. I designed and made it of course. This was right as we entered the gym. I think the student council did a pretty good job at it.



Another picture of me at homecoming. Can you imagine that this photo was snapped right as I was getting punch for Josh and I? Someone was like 'Hey Daph! Over here!" If they would have said those exact words a few minutes later...well, you get it.



Halloween


Ok, ok. This was at the beginning (as you can see, my wig is still intact) On the food table, there was this dog so I hopped on and made someone take a picture. Looking at this now, I look incredibly drunk and stoned.


These are some kids at school, most of them I have many classes with. Everyone had pretty wild costumes. I can't remember anyone not wearing a costume. Oh wait, nevermind. Oscar wasn't. But, anyways, they were creative and fun.

Ok, ok. After the second break-up with Josh. I was on a mission. I was looking for a guy. I found him. His name was Kane and we have some classes together. I literally clung to him the entire night, making a point when Josh saw me that I started laughing, touching, and kissing. I know I am bad for using poor Kane like that, but I needed to prove a point and get it across.



Student Auction


The student auction was a blast. Especially how clueless and bored Oscar looked the entire time while reading off countless names.



When i went up there, I made acted goofy without looking like a ditzy moron. It must have worked since I started to get bids.



After I was sold for about $175 dollars I waved towards Kane, yes the guy at the Halloween party. We had so much fun that night. We goofed around at the beach and went to a club. I told him I felt bad about the whole Halloween thing. He said it was fine, and we are still good friends.

This is a friend of mine from Greece, Tina. She's awesome. I think this was at a party last summer when I was in Greece.



Jeez, this was freshman year. The yearbook comittee took pictures of freshman for some event and for the yearbook.

This is Chanel and Bianca's aunt on their father's side. She's pretty cool when I met her. I looked a little dressed down compared to her though.
