And it was over just as quickly as it had started. She was amazed at how fickle highschool kids were. Now that the two weren't beating the shit out of eachother, they had no interest. She shrugged, it's not like it mattered.
She watched Alex and Daphne off in the distance, contemplating whether or not she should crash their serious talk or not. Deciding against it, Jessica planted herself on the sand next to the bonfire and watched the people around her. Not too long after the two girls had gone to the edge of the beach, did she see Alex head back toward Reed.

Her heart really did skip a beat when he said that to her. It wasn't the first time that had happened either. He was just such a romantic, and he probably didn't know it. Her heart had skipped many times before that moment.
"Well, if you did something to make me smile then I should do something to make you smile. I just don't know what you'd like me to do though," she said to him as she sat next to him.
Kylie gently rubbed her nose against the male's neck before she laid her head down on his shoulder. It was so sweet just being there with him, looking at the ocean. This was like the moment she had been waiting for for the majority of her life. Well, almost. The moment she really wanted was when she got engaged, but that wouldn't be happening for a while.
After a moment or two of silence, the girl squeezed the bear again and started to giggle. She just loved how it said 'I love you too.'

Antony could feel the girl's laugh, and it caused him to laugh himself.
"You... we..." He began, then stopped, breathing for a moment.
"You and I should go out. We don't have to be boyfriend and girlfriend, but we should at least go on a few dates." He left out the 'We seem perfect for each other!' part, choosing instead to kiss her lightly on the lips before she could answer.
He suddenly realized what was happening, and his own heart skipped a beat. He had actually found a girl he was willing to be with. This almost never happened.
With his lips still on hers, he whispered, "Please say yes," his lips tickling hers as they moved, "You know you want to."
He kissed her lightly again, and suddenly two dragonflies passed by, flying around each other in some odd dance.
They were rare for this time of the year, usually having receded from Valkyrie in the middle of August, but he wasn't complaining. They were picture perfect; a turquiose-y blue one, flying around a firey hot ruby one, floating off into the night. It was beautiful.[/color]

She giggled softly even more as he spoke to her with his lips against her's. Oh, she absolutely loved that because of how weird it felt.
Her eyes closed, and she acted like she was thinking about the answer. She really wasn't though. Ky knew exactly what she wanted.
Kylie opened her eyes. "What if I don't want to date you though? What if I want to be boyfriend and girlfriend and skip the whole dating process that happens before that? What do you say to that, huh?" she asked him, a small grin on her face as she did that.
She did the same thing to him that he had done to her. Ky placed her lips against Antony's and kissed him before he even had a chance to answer her. She was scared about what he might say, so that's why she did it. The kiss was short, so soon enough their lips weren't locked anymore. She closed her eyes and placed her forehead against the boy's. Hopefully it wouldn't be a bad answer.

Just as Antony was about to reply, he came up with a better idea.
"Close your eyes for a second." He said, getting up and walking to the roses.
He looked at them, and smiled, rearranging them to spell the word 'Yes' out on the sand.
"Open them." He said, staring down at her with soft browngreen eyes, "It sounds like a damn good plan to me." He said with a grin.[/color]

The light brown eyes that belonged to Kylie quickly shot open, and she stared down at the roses. Had he really just said yes to her by using the roses!? That was so cute!
Ky pretty much jumped up and tackled the boy. "Really?" she said softly. Tears were coming to her eyes. The last relationship she had been in was super serious. It was amazing her that she was actually finding someone to get close to again.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and shoulders in a hug. Her legs were shaky as she stood there on the tips of her toes. This was all happening so fast, but it made her oh so happy. "Please tell me that you're serious.."

Josh watched the two girls yell at each other. Then, attack each other. And now, apologize to each other. He felt bad he couldn't do anything, and because what just happened between him and Daphne. It was like a movie to him, the whole school year was. It was rated 4/4 stars, too.
He walked over to the girls, he had to talk to Daphne. He didn't think he could wait much longer. What happened, well you know what happened. He juts didn't know what they were going to do.
"Mind if I interrupt," he said to the girls," Daphne, can we talk?"

He held Kylie close, his heart going a thousand miles an hour; "I've never been more serious," He said, kissing her softly, "And this is no joke."
He stepped away from the girl, "So, wanna get your stuff and go back to the bonfire?" He asked, realizing they had been off in their own little world for so long that they had missed the party. It was only a few hours away from three, so the cops would be here soon. They needed to enjoy the actually party.
He kissed her again, a quick peck on the lips, and nodded his head towards the bonfire.

Nikki glanced at Josh and saw him walking to Daphne. "Not you too, Josh," She said to herself. Maybe the girls had already finished the fight? Nikki was really watching to know. I'll she could do now was...watch.
Nikki was feeling nervous. That's how you would feel if you didn't know if a physical fight would be finish if your friend got involved. Luckily, Nikki tried to keep her cool. Their fight was probably over. Afterall, she hadn't heard much screaming anymore.

She wanted to die because she didn't have her camera there with her. She really wanted to take a picture of the roses so that she'd remember everything in the years to come. Since she didn't get a chance to take them, Ky got down on her knees and began picking them up one by one.
After she stood up again, she grabbed the bear with the same hand that she had used to pick up the flowers. With the other hand she grabbed the picture that she hadn't even noticed earlier. It was cute too! This boy was such a romantic.
"Let's go get our party on," Ky said with a grin.

Nikki stopped trying to get people away from the girls and went to the two trees she was under before. Her dress made her stand out. Nikki was surprised she even wore this dress to this party. It was something she never thought she was going to do.
Nikki started to check her purse for her diary. "Where is it?!" she asked. It could have been anywhere. The worst part was that it could have been read by anyone. That would be so embarressing. Nikki started to worry about where it could have been. Oh boy, this was a problem.

Jem walked onto the beach and looked around. He had never been to a party before. Atleast not one with alchole beverages. Jem walked over to the drinks, the sand squishing bewtween his toes as he walked, the wind blew against his face, his hair blew slightly in the wind. Jem reached down and swipped up a bear and cracked it open, he wasn't a total boring person, he had a bear now and then. He smiled and took a drink and squinted as he looked around, he noticed Nikki, but really..he kind of didn't want to talk to her, his name was in her diary..and that just made him uneasy.
Jem yawend and walked up to the waters edge and looked behind him, hopping to see Summer. She did treat him sort of like trash, but she was someone to talk too.

Nikki looked around for her friends. No friends at all. She wanted to change so badly. A dress was not her style. It made HER feel uneasy. Nikki wanted to go to her dorm but didn't want to miss out on anything.
"Oh great," Nikki said as she spotted her crush, Jem. She didn't want to have anything to do with him right now. It wasn't that happy "Oh great," it was the sarcastic one.
Nikki stood up and started to walk closer to where the water was.

Jem Finished his bear and looked around for a trash can, not seeing one he simply through his can into the bonfire and went to go get another one. Well this is boring. Jem thought lamly, practically no one was there! Jem sighed and kicked sand as he walked, wishing he was somewhere else.

Antony grinned, walking Kylie back to the party. "I'm glad you liked it," He said as the drew closer to the bonfire. He grinned, telling her to stay where she was, and ran over to the food carts. They had slowed down with their burger cooking, and now all the fruits and veggies were on display. It made his stomach grumble.
He grabbed a plate, loading it with juicy fruitkabobs, some yummy looking veggiekabobs, and two drinks.
These plates were genius; they were square, and there were holes in each corner to place your drink while you walk. He grabbed some angel hair pasta to top it off, and walked back to Kylie, placing the tray down gently in front of her. "You haven't eaten," He said softly, with concern in his voice, "So I say we get our grub in, then dance."
He laughed, getting his drink, which was one of the very few non-spiked ones. His fellow students knew him well, so they always hid some of the virgin drinks for him, so they don't get spiked.[/color]
