Claire laughed. “None taken.” She replied. “I’m proud of being a loser. It’s really not that bad once you get used to it.” She guessed that her having moved a lot helped with the acceptance of being a loser. She was used to being looked at funny, being whispered about, and having totally insane rumors spread about her. It hadn’t been at all different when she’d moved to Valkyrie either. That’s why she’d been grateful to make friends quickly here, especially because she was going to be staying here for as long as she could see into the future. She looked down to her hands in her lap as Elliot got to his feet, but looked back up at him as he sat down next to her.
Cool? She was a little confused for a second. Her dad had told her that if someone said ‘cool’, it was a casual answer that didn’t actually mean anything. She’d gotten that lecture when he’d asked if she wanted to go to a theme park when she was eight. Did he really mean it like that? Did he know what signal that had the potential that it could send? She shoved the thoughts out of her head. Maybe it was just a mistake. He probably didn’t even know.
Her thoughts were confirmed when he leaned over and kissed her. So he really didn’t know what just saying ‘cool’ meant. Either that or he did, and just amended his statement. The kiss was better than she could remember from her drunken stupor. It made her heart almost stop, and made her feel more lightheaded than she already did from her hangover. Claire smiled a little. “I can tell…” She said quietly, leaning over and kissing his lips softly again before he spoke once more.
She laughed a little as he said that he’d never really had a girlfriend before. “That’s okay. Neither have I. The whole moving a lot thing made that hard.” The longest she’d ever had a boyfriend was a total of about a week and a half. They were in Springfield, Illinois, and were only there for about two months. She hadn’t actually liked the guy, so much as she believed that they were staying there for a time, and had wanted to get popular. Shallow, she knew, but she had been a shallow kid upon reaching her teenage years. “So I guess we’re in the same boat.”

Haley stood there for a moment after Oscar had left. She watched as Anne dashed after him, drunk. Figures. All of a sudden she didn't much feel like staying for drinks and hanging out. She put her still half full glass on the bar, said good bye to a few people and left. She didn't feel much like sleep either. So she walked. She walked around Vegas before sitting down in front of the fountaine of the Bellagio Casino.
She couldn't believe she had been such an asshole. But she had to right? Anne and him, although they aren't together had a tension rope the sixe of Texas and Anne could destroy her. Plus, Oscar was...Oscar. He didn't fit in with her lifestyle. Than again who did? Anne, Daphne, Bridget. The trio. All of them fit their roles in society so gracefully. They could be the premadonna so simply. Haley second guessed herself too much to ever truly be one of them.
After a few hours, Haley began her way back to the hotel. It was morning by then. She needed some sleep. And to get out of these shoes.ouch seriously. She stepped into the elevator with a yawn and leaned against the wall as she felt it begin to rise. When she got to the floor all the Valkyrie students inhabited she made her way to her room. She put her door key into the slot and, looking very tiredly down at the ground, walked inside. Only to see Claire and Elliot on the bed together. "Oh my god" She said turning her face away blocking the perifial view with her hand, feeling her cheeks redden deeply. "I'm so sorry."

A sigh of relief escaped as she told him that they were in the same boat. He hated to admit his inexperience but he didn’t want to lead her on with false hopes that he was this stud who had kissed lots of girls. Hell, he almost laughed as he thought she would actually think that. No girl thought that, and they had the perfect right. He wasn’t a stud and he hadn’t kissed lots of girls and he was okay for that, at least, now he was. Elliot smiled. ”Yah, I guess we are,” he leaned in, kissing her lightly once again, before deepening it, not hearing the door open. He was liking kissing Claire, and liked the idea that he could do over and over again.
"Oh my god. "I'm so sorry."
He head jerked to the side, seeing Haley standing there, shielding her eyes. Damnit, can you say awkward? Elliot could and hell, he could spell it too, because honestly for about the millionth time in his life, he could feel it setting in and his cheeks beginning to redden. His eyes jumped from Haley to Claire and back to Haley. All of three of them had been friends once upon of time, but then Haley got hot and decided they weren’t good enough. Elliot had never been a social outcast, he had never been without friends, but he wasn’t a popular kid and that was cool with him, although apparently Haley wasn’t too thrilled with it. ”Uhh, it’s okay,” he replied quickly, the words jumbling together, finally finding his voice. He rose his hand into a little wave, nodding, trying to get a hold of the embarrassment that was taking over. Was it obvious what had happened? Elliot wasn’t embarrassed about Claire or anything, but still, he didn’t need the world knowing the minimal details of his sex life.
”Uh, hey.”

Claire smiled a little as Elliot agreed with her comment, the smile still playing on her lips a little as he kissed her. She kissed him back entirely, loving the way her heart seemed to stumble along to remain beating; loving the fact that she could kiss him like this as much as she wanted to now, and it wouldn’t be so awkward as if she hadn’t told him how she felt before doing so. It was amazing; she could see now why it was that people told others how they felt. It reaped benefits like these. Maybe, she thought, she should do this more often.
"Oh my god. I'm so sorry."
Claire jumped, turning her head quickly as well. Uh oh. She hadn’t counted on Haley walking in just then. It wasn’t like they were friends or something, but Haley was friends with people like Daphne Hayes and Anne Levesque, who, in Claire’s opinion, couldn’t keep a secret like this to save their lives. She had already been wondering if Haley had been in the room since last night, but apparently she hadn’t, considering the way she was still dressed up. “Don’t…Don’t worry about it, Haley. It’s…Okay.” The three of them had been friends a few years back, but when Haley had decided to become popular, she had ditched people like Claire and Elliot. When the two girls had discovered that they would be roommates on this trip, they had at first been completely reluctant, and Claire had even ended up getting snappy at Haley. They had talked though, and now it was at the point where she could atleast tolerate Haley.
“Um…What’s…Going on, Haley?”

Haley gave a nervous smile. This was awkward, but kind of funny. If she hadn't been an ass and they had all stayed friends, she would have just laughed her ass off. She was like that. Haley, when overweight, as unhappy as she was, she could laugh at nothing with her friends. They could hang out and do nothing and would have the best time. She thought she was alone back then because she didn't have too many friends and all of the looks she got. That's why she freaked in the first place, lost the weight and did her best to be one of the popular kids.
"Yeah, well...I umm can get out as soon as I..umm" She spoke as she walked over to her bed which was across the room. She set down her purse, being sure to keep her eyes away. It's not like they were naked and in the middle of having sex. It was just awkward and Haley was tired and these shoes were killing her feet, even if they were Chanel. She balenced on one foot and pulled off the shoe and then did the same to the other. "Get...out of these god forsaken shoes and clothes."
Okay so she couldn't hide under the covers with bunny sleeping for a few hours like she had wanted to after shooting down a guy she really liked. Work it out and then she can get back to her bitch world after a small private breakdown. That's what she did. She had done. It was weird though. Becuase she wasn't used to having people around. She lived alone. Well technically her parents lived there too but she never saw them so it didn't count. But for Now Jeans and a t will do I supposed.
