Sage nodded, and was just about to say how good the band was when she was interrupted. The girl had been drinking, that much was evident, but Sage read more into it. Her eyes were glassy, speech slurred, she was totally wasted. Her tolerance was low, but her spirits were high and she didn't seem to care about the fact that she looked like a total ass. Sage watched her walk away, swaying to the music or the booze, the Junior wasn't sure.
Turning back to Reed, Sage smiled and acted normal. "Nope, I was just out for a walk and heard the music. I'd also seen something somewhere about cheap beer and thought it was worth my while." Sage said, remembering the other thing she'd heard. 'There is a total hottie tending the bar!' Sage decided that was not needed in the conversation and left it out.

"The three clubs are located on The Strip. Which is like Las Vegas. That's where this street got its name. I'm sure you've heard some kids calling it. It's where everything 'cool' is. Some say, 'If it's not on the strip, why bother?'" Reed told her and took another drink of his beer.
Reed was silent for a moment. What else could they talk about? He knew she was new, and they touched base with all the "new people" conversations. "Much clubs where you use to live?" it was a slightly odd question, but it kept the conversation going. [/size]

Sage nodded and smiled, taking occasional sips of her drink. She’d heard about the Strip, thought it had sounded really fun. “Not really, but there was one. It wasn’t really like this, we’d rarely get booze. Sometimes though, like in the summer, there’d be a huge bonfire and someone would find an adult who could be paid to buy for us. Then it’d get wild. Too bad it burned down.” Sage said, referring to the bonfire that had gotten out of control and totally destroyed the old wooden place.
Glancing over at the dance floor, Sage saw people jerking themselves around, calling it dancing. An unladylike snort issued from Sage’s nose. They called it dancing! They wouldn’t know dancing if it came up and bit them in the…yeah. Sage turned back to Reed, a grin on her face. “Do you dance?” she asked casually, pointing towards the crowded floor.
