Daphne heard the footsteps too. It took her so much by surprised when the door swung open revealing his little brother. "Shit," she muttered under her breath. Slightly embarrassed she brought the sheets closer to her body. I mean, hello, nothing underneath. "I'm Daphne," she said and looked back at Josh.
Daphne was at a lost too. She couldn't get up, unless his brother wanted to see her...well in a old-fashion term, 'birthday suit.' What would a little brother do when he caught his older brother with a girl in his bed? Daphne sure didn't know. She had a little sister. And again, she never brought guys home. Did they blab to the 'rents, or worse: the school? "Um..uh..." she trailed off, "don't tell?"[/size]

Josh was confused. He could try to lie, but his brother was smarter then that. "You wouldn't believe if I told you that...." he said but stopped short when he knew his brother wouldn't believe him.
"I know what happened here," John said to them,"You guys in bed, clothes on the ground, you just in your boxers, you realize I am 14."
Josh was embarrassed. He looked around the room. He could try to get his brother to not tell."Want do you want so you won't tell anyone."
"It will cost you," his brother said to them,"50$ and a ride anytime I want it."
Josh couldn't say no. He had to say yes or else."Fine," he said to his brother. He gave him the stuff and made him go to his room. As soon as he left Josh closed the door and locked it. He would over and sat on his bed again."I am so sorry." he said to her. He didn't know what else to say.

Daphne watched as his brother stated the facts. Yeah, it was true. Their clothes littered the room, here and there. Then she listened as Josh baragined with his brother. Once he shooed him out of the room, Daphne looked back at Josh.
She shrugged as he came back to her on the bed, "It could have been worse," she said as she crawled her way over to the other side, "your parents could have caught us."
She giggled and landed a kiss on his lips before she got out of the bed, still clinging to the sheets as she busied herself around the room, trying to locate her fallen clothes, "And I think, that's my cue to leave," she reasoned. "Have an escape route planned out for situations like these?" she teased grabbing her clothes. [/size]

"Yeah, my parents would have freaked out!" he said to her. She was right. His brother wasn't that bad. He could almost do anything to make him not tell. His brother and him got along well.
He smiled and kiss her back when she kissed him. "Usually when this happens," he said to her,"the girls go out the window." He laughed. She knew he was just kidding around."No, I have steps on my deck to the backyard. Do you need a ride?" he asked her.

"The window, right," she replied with a laugh getting back into the clothes she arrived in. She turned back around once she finished, right as he finsihed offering a ride. Her eyes wide a little. Ok, let's just hop in your car and drive down by the Shaks. Because, that's were I live. "Uh, no thanks... I can walk."
It seemed like she was forgetting something, but what? Oh, right her purse. "Um, I think I forgot my purse down by the couch. You think it is ok?" she asked as she put her flip-flops on. She walked over to him and grabbed both his hands. She just wanted to soak in the moment, even if she did have to go.[/size]

"Are you sure?" he asked her. He didn't know why she wanted to walk. She didn't live far away. Well, according to where he thinks she lives. He wondered if their was something she wasn't telling him. He decided to just let it go.
He held her hand. It was a good moment. He didn't want her to go, he wanted her to just stay. He knew she had to go, though.
"I will go get it," he said to her pulling his hands away. He ran downstairs and a second later was putting it in her hands. He kissed her softly on the lips. "I will call you later," he said to her. He leaned in and kissed her one more time.

"Very sure. It'll be good. The fresh air," she told him.
She smiled as he said he would get it. He looked out for her, took care of her. She knew that they would look out for each other. She took the purse from him and they kissed again. She looked at him, "You better." she laughed a little before they kissed once more. She waved a little goodbye before leaving the Stewart residence.
The sun bathed her skin as she walked down the street. It would be a rather lasting walk back down to the Shaks, but it gave her time to think. She highly doubted that his brother would keep the secret from the students at Valkyrie, from their parents, yes, but who would pass up gossip like this? She knew she wouldn't, and suddenly, Josh and Daphne would be the next couple at the year. But she shrugged and smiled.
A little attention never hurt.[/size]
