Kelsey leaned against the wall of the hallway, pulling out her cell phone and checking her voicemail. It was early still, before class, therefore she was a little confused as to why she was already there. Her mom, hell bent on making a good student out of her had made sure that Kelsey was up and ready in time to get to the library to study for her bio test that day. The second floor hallway was as far as she had gotten. The early start had left little time for Kelsey to get ready, so not much effort was put into her appearance. She wore a brown polo shirt, low-rise medium wash jeans, which fell nicely over a pair of brown Roxy flip-flops. Her long blond hair is down and wavy, falling over her shoulders, her bangs pinned back.

She stood there adjusting her black Chanel bag on her shoulder, gazing up and down the long empty hallways. Kelsey sighed. The school was so empty, except for her, the one who least wanted to be there. She twisted the cell phone around in her hand and waited to see if anyone would show up.

"Finally" Ashley mouthed, she was relieved to get out of that Hell Hole she calls home. She leaned against the wall and looked to her left. She noticed Kelsey.

"WHy are you here so early?" she asked, she was filled with curiousity.

She looked at Kelsays outfit then down at her own. She was wearing a black low cut shirt, a pair of jeans, and simple black boots. She just threw on anything and ran out of the house, without even checking in a mirror, but she didnt need to, she knew she looked at least okay...

Kelsey continued leaning against the wall, closing her eyes for just a second.... She wasn't used to waking up early and the tiredness was already taking over her. She stood there, eyes closed, completely aware of how stupid she looked until she heard a voice, a familiar voice. She opened her eyes to see Ashley.

“Uh… sorry what was that?” she asked standing up properly so she was no longer leaning and snapping back to reality. “Uh, I’m just hanging out, you know, came early to get to the library,” Kelsey paused, sighing. “And well, I haven’t quite made it there yet.” She smiled weakly, feeling very stupid and self-conscious all of a sudden. She knew Ashley a little bit, Kelsey had met her a couple days ago and was still unsure of what she thought of her.

“So, uh…, what are you doing here?” She asked, straightening out her shirt as she put her cell phone in her purse and pulling it up on her shoulder. “Kinda early isn’t it?”

Ashley tried to make up an excuse "I was bored and decided to just come to school early" she sighed. She took her tie back off her arm and slid it into her hair. she quickly tied her hair back and then tightened it.

She was pretty bored but hid her boredum so that Kelsy couldnt tell.

“You were bored?” Kelsey said rolling her eyes, bullshit is what she thought. “This early in the morning? What about sleep?” she sighed. She knew Ashley was avoiding something and whatever it was, it was her business, but a shitty excuse set up for some attitude. Kelsey adjusted her bag and yawned before looking up at Ashley.

“Eff I’m bored. This day is going to be so long,” she said quietly looking up and down the hallway before focusing her attention back at Ashley.

Ashley looked down "Ok, Ok, you see my bro wanted some 'alone' time with his wife!" she said hoping it would sound more truthful. It truely wasnt the truth but it was all she could come up with this early in the morning, she was tired and couldnt think to well.

"Whenever my brother comes over him and his wife stay in my room on the extra bed so I really didnt want to watch or hear them" she smiled, it was half the truth, I mean the part about her borther and his wife staying in her room once and a while...
