Today had been pretty stressful for the boy. Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. These things weren't very major or anything, but they still brought the day down a bit for Yishai. For instance, the plates on his hair straightener had broken, and he had run out of his dear, dear eyeliner. So now he was sitting here in the far corner of this place with slightly poofy, somewhat curly pink hair, and a clean, untouched face. The shock! Oh, the horror!
But he supposed being here made him feel a little better. Starbucks. Oh, sweet Starbucks. Caffeine of any kind did wonders for him. Almost like a high, of sorts. That’s right, if coffee didn’t make him feel better, than nothing would. Even so, Yishai still felt a little uncomfortable without the aforementioned missing things. It wasn't that he was vain or conceited, sometimes he just felt that his hair and such made him... him.
The pink-haired boy sighed, and pushed those thoughts to the very back of his mind. He could still find some happiness in the frosted, mocha drink as he twirled the little straw through the domed cap. He looked down into the drink as if it were the most fascinating thing he'd ever seen. Though, it probably was. Well, at the moment, of course. One couldn't be too excited or anything while sitting alone in a booth in the corner of a Starbucks, could they?

Long days and hard working afternoons were starting to describe the poor girl's life. It seemed as if she had taken on way too much that year. Four or five advanced placement classes, a job at the hospital, a job as assistant editor on the newspaper, and having to work on a project for her photojournalism class like everyday were a few of the many things that kept her busy. When the fottball season started up things would become even more hectic. She was happy that she had finally gotten a chance to come to Starbucks and get some good coffee.
The smell of roasted coffee beans and warm pastries filled Kylie's nose as soon as she walked into the door. Oh Starbucks was one of her favorite places, and she was super excited to be there just because it mean that she actually had some free time. The heels that she wore that day clicked on the tile floor while she walked up to the counter. "White Cholocolate Moach Frappachino," she said to the male that stood behind the counter. She got out her money, and paid for the drink. She didn't have to wait too much longer before they called her name, and she recieved the most amazing drink in the world.
"Now, where to sit," she whispered to herself. Ky usually liked to sit outside and get a nice view of the scenery. The weather was also goos that day. However, she just didn't feel like sitting on a hard, decorative lawn chair. That having been concluded, Ky walked over to where the booths were, looking for some sort of magizine to read as she sat and sipped at the drink. As she glanced over, she noticed a guy sitting there. He was someone that she knew, but hardly talked to anymore.
"Hey," she said to Yishai. "What's up? Long time no see." She smiled at the boy.

Yishai jumped slightly when he was greeted by a voice. Blinking, he looked to the source, and smiled in seeing who it belonged to. Even though he wasn't really expecting anyone, he wouldn't mind if Kylie sat with him. they were friends, after all. Although, it seemed a bit like they were drifting apart.
"Yeah, I know..." He murmured, motioning to her that it was alright to sit down. Having her stand while he was sitting struck the boy as rude, "Meh. I've been sooo bored, lately." With an exaggerated pout, Yishai shook his head sadly. Yes, he was easily bored, but being in such a state annoyed him to no end, "What about you?" He wondered, tilting his head in an innocent manner. That was always the way with Yishai. The conversation could consist of very raunchy material, and the boy would still seem to be as innocent as ever.
