so, we all love our music. i know it always helps me with my muse. finding lyrics that just fit my character is awesome. and i know i find bands through your guys a lot. so yeah, if you got a sweeto band and/or song that you really have been enjoying tell us. yup yup.
so i guess i'll start. i bought some music earlier this week and i'm really starting to dig these:
'sleep with me' - city sleeps 'waste your tears' - god or julie 'may i bum a smoke?' - socratic

kind of feel like a dork because basically none of my music is indie, only some. I tend to listen to more mainstream musics, music from musicals *is a dork* and then the oldies. Only the first song is an Indie I think, not sure what classifies as "indie." But the vid was a school project for some kids and I love it, I think it captures the song very well, even if it's a bit offbeat. I guess there are some non-mainstream sort of classic cutz sort of songs too. so anyways, some of my recent, "play while I write" music::
The Bleeding Heart Show by the New Pornographers ----------------- Link
If Only by Fiction Plane ----------------- Link
Nightmare by Eve 6 ----------------- Link
Take Me Home Tonight by Eddie Money ----------------- Link
All for One, All for Love by Bryan Adams, Sting, Rod Stewart ----------------- Link
Ol' Girl by Bible of the Devil ----------------- Link
Angels and Demons by Eden's Curse ----------------- Link (should be the first song to play but if not you may have to flip through)
Send Me On My Way by Rusted Root ----------------- Link
I'll Post more later... I have tons!

i'm such an indie bum, forever and always. so i have four big playlists for v-side. the first one i bring you today is my bailey playlist. well not all of it, but some. hehe, i've always wanted to do this.
florence and the machine - dog days - my ultimate bailey song. this song just reminds me of her so much. it's been around for awhile this song, but it was recently on skins effy's episode actually, so that made me laugh. cause bailey has always reminded me of a mix between marissa cooper/effy stonem/lux lisbon with less sexual promiscuousness.
friendly fires - jump in the pool - the entire song doesn't really fit bailey but bits and pieces of it, but instrumentally this song is amazing so i'll post it anyway.
air - playground love - not really the lyrics, but the instrumental part of it all is kind of how i imagined bailey would feel after her sisters death, kind of floaty and spaced out, there but physically but not there mentally.
sia - breathe me - not just a bailey song, but a bailey and adrian song. just the lyrics are perfect, explains exactly how they both feel after jenny's death. i used the lyrics for my first post and the charity event, just fit really well.
syd matters - to all of you - my unofficial theme song for the quad girls, it just fits them perfectly.
placebo - every you, every me - the nailey song, forever. describes them perfectly, yes.
washington - clementine - i love this song, it reminds me of bailey so much. very floaty and the lyrics seem to suit bailey well, they seem happy but really they aren't oh how ironic.
PNAU - embrace - crazy drunk bailey, yes this song reminds me of that very bailey.
and that is all for today, i need to eat.

howling bells , treasure hunt
sebastian tellier , la ritournelle
seth sentry , the waitress song

So again, same feeling of being the only person here not into a lot of indie music, but whatevs. I like some Indies I do but some... ugh... like the ting tings who make me want to puke. Although most of the stuff people have posted here I've liked. Anyways, here's my list with songs that make me happy... or sad but happy because they're such good songs in my opinion, if that made any sense.
Boy in a Magazine by Socratic ----------------- Link (( WILL's NEW ANTHEM!! ))
Sweet and Low by Augustana ----------------- Link (( will be used as a theme song for one of my ships, just need to wait for who ))
May I Bum a Smoke? by Socratic ----------------- Link (( I don't even smoke pot and I love this song ))
Tongue Twisters by Danny Kaye ----------------- Link (( the guy's lip sinking but the voice you hear is danny kaye and I love it because he is the king of diction ))
Yes by Merry Clayton ----------------- Link (( very randomly on my Xazzy playlist ))
Cosmic Castaway by Electrasy ----------------- Link (( basically the song for when I feel like dirt and want to get determined and happier ))
I Saw It On Your Keyboard by Hellogoodbye ----------------- Link (( ignore the anime vid please ))
Grace Kelly by Mika ----------------- Link (( HALEY'S THEME SONG ))
I'll Post more later...
