Age: 16
Gender: Female
Some Basic Interests: Music, Sports, shopping
About You Character:
Name: Amanda Summit
Age: 16 1/2
Gender: Female
School Year: Junior
Art Interest (why you’re here): Sports
Originated From: MA
Parents: Suzanne and Jim
Siblings: Jessica
Appearance: Let’s start with the face. She has a fair complexion, somewhat rosy cheeks, and normal lips. Wavy long dark auburn hair reaches past her shoulders contrasting with her bright greenish hazel eyes. She inherited them from her mom and couldn’t thank her more. Amanda has a slim figure which she tones through hours at the gym, and her standard hours of practice. Proud of her body, she often uses it to her advantage, and loves to show it off.
She LOVES clothes, has as /huge/ assortment of them, and doesn’t hesitate to wear anything she pleases. Her wardrobe reflects her personality in many ways. One day she’ll come in wearing sweats and sneaker, and the next day she’ll be rocking a short denim mini and high heels. You just never know.
She has many many different parts to her personality; it depends on when you catch her. However, there are two parts of her that will always be the same: Her love of sports, and her love to party. Both of these are her outlets of stress, self consciousness, and everything else a teen girl might worry about. When she’s on the field or the court she doesn’t have to think about being ‘good’ enough because she knows she is. Her MVP status and repeated scores tell her peers, the coaches and most importantly that she is good enough. Unlike her determined focus during sports, when she’s at a party, it’s a different story. She totally lets loose by drinking, dancing, and often has meaningless hookups which supply plenty of drama for the upcoming weeks. Let’s just say that she can be promiscuous.
In school Amanda is not at the top of the class, usually passing with a B-; a B- being the lowest one can have to play sports. She has many friends, most within the “in” crowd as they all lived in the Valks and obviously had money. She however disliked this aspect of her life. Originally living in a small town called Lowell, MA, Amanda lived decently -no luxury included. Her and her parents all worked to gain the things they wished to own. With a fairly small house she lived her childhood without any brothers or sisters and a limited amount of possessions. That was until June 3rd, 2003-the death of her grandfather on her father’s side. Although her father and grandfather were never close, Jim his was left a large sum of money. Gigantic. So huge that her family uplifted their whole life in MA and purchased a fairly large house in the Valks. Luckily for Amanda this was just in time for her to start her freshman year at Valkyrie Acadamy. Throughout the years she has adjusted well to the status change, but she knows she will never forget her past and hopes to pass on many of the values to her children.
Her day consists of her five core classes (Math, English, History, Biology, and Spanish), many frees and 2-3 hours of practice after school for Volleyball, Basketball, or Lacrosse depending on the season.
Although many judge her solely based on her party girl and jock persona, there are many other parts to her. There’s the shy and quiet part of her that longs to sit in the background and only observe what’s going on around her. However, there is also the mean part of where she doesn’t hesitate to completely verbally tear down anybody in her way.
Her greatest flaw is her inablilty to easily open up to people. A huge factor in any relationship is sharing ones feelings and experiences, and Amanda just can't do that well. Even though she can make friends/acquaintances quickly because shes so easy to get along with, its hard for her to take it to the next to the next level which is why she has so few best friends.
Example:
Sweeping was the worst. Especially when you try to sweep it into the dust pan and you can never quite get it up. You keep turning and maneuvering the dust pan and broomstick in different ways but no matter how hard you try, there will always be some pesky dirt left; which is exactly why Amanda quit while she was ahead placing the broom and dustpan back into the closet. –c-
Smoothing out her polo which adorned her athletic lacrosse-playing body, she walked over towards the clock wondering, what time it was. That was always the question with her because she never knew, and always wanted to know. Even though the closing shift was by-far her favorite, how much could a seventeen year old girl, having just graduated, enjoy a summer night in a coffee shop? Not that she didn’t enjoy that company of the other employees, she would just rather be outside.
Kicking off her white Old Navy flip flops, an accessory to her khaki skirt , she walked over behind the counter leaning against it. Releasing her layered shoulder-lenth dark brown hair from its pony-tail, she ran her fingers through it.
She left the usual few strands near her right eye out, so that she could play and twirl them similar to what she did in school. Observing the Cafe, she thought about how her Senior year was finally over, and how in less than 3 months she would be starting a whole new chapter in her life:College.
*This ones kinda old. Sorry.
