PERSONAL STYLE: tommy’s personal style can be defined as crisp. his father is thomas ambrose II. you better believe that his son is to dress like a young man. you might think that this sounds a little feminine but it’s what the rich kids wear. tommy is never caught in any of those graphic tees or ripped jeans. even if he despises his father, he grew up dressing only the best, and even when he hit high school, a stage of rebellion, tommy liked how he stood out in his group of friends. he likes coming off professional and older than he is. basically, his style really defines who he is as a person, and anyone can tell what he’s like by just the expensive polos and jackets he wears.

CHARACTER PERSONALITY ,
the more we move ahead the more we're stuck in rewind
STRENGTHS: dealing drugs, persuading, being sneaky
WEAKNESSES: wealth, jack daniels, money
LIKES: everything that being wealthy gives him, fast cars, friends, valkyrie, music, pretending to be ‘the perfect son’ at society events, playing games, dealing drugs, smoking, soccer, bike riding, brunch, when his father ignores him, his house, being a teenager, reckless behavior, lying, black jack, poker, any casino game
DISLIKES: competitions, losing a bet or a game, being told no, camping, movies with predictable endings, romantic comedies, when his father talks to him, talking with people who think they know him, skateboarding, roller-blading, surfing, anything that requires balance, carnivals or anything gimmicky like that, annoying freshmen girls,
FLAWS:
- he’s a drug dealer even if his family is one of the richest in valkyrie
- scar on his back/spine from fixing the scoliosis he had as a child
HABITS:
- never finishing a cigarette
- playing games with peoples’ heads
- doing stuff on his own agenda
SECRETS:
- drug dealer
- though he’s a drug dealer he’s never had anything he sells
- blames his father for his mother's death
BEST MEMORY: all his best memories were with his mom on her ‘good days.' when he would come home from school and she had made cookies, they'd eat all of them and go outside and play around in the yard until thomas came home and it was almost like they were a family, a real one. the nights would end with tommy in bed and blair reading him stories until he fell asleep.
WORST MEMORY: tommy's worst memory to date was when his father came to school when he was twelve and took him on a drive and told tommy that blair had committed suicide. it was the toughest moment in his life because he couldn't understand why his mother took her own life. he knew she was getting bad but at twelve, what can you do? but someone like his father should have been able to get her help, this is why tommy blames thomas for the suicide because he should have helped his wife.
OVERALL PERSONALITY: he was born into wealth and with that you sort of have a certain personality inserted into you, wether you embrace it later on, is up to you. tommy did. he's kind of like that typical rich kid. has money, like to blow it on stupid shit. buy girlfriends expensive diamonds even if you don't like her that much, it's the fact that you can that's impressive. tommy isn't one of those rich kids that hates his life, hates rich people and their money. he very much enjoys the society he was born into and all the benefits he gets from it.
however, tommy definitely has a dark side, which came out when his mother's suicide. he wasn't the dorky little kid a lot of kids his age knew him by, he got darker. you really can't trust tommy, he's not loyal, and he doesn't keep many promises. if you're lucky enough to have a close relationship with him, then it's the opposite, but to friends and classmates alike, he's the type of guy you don't ask favors for because what you'd have to give in return would probably cost more than what you asked. tommy's a sneaky one too. sly, like a fox, similar to what his father is like, not that he'd ever say he got anything from his father. but tommy isn't stupid either. not a reckless party boy, but he will blow cash because it's his father's money. he can think quickly on his feet and it can be difficult to out-wit him, he doesn't have a problem being mean and biting your head off, (boy or girl) but lately, he's been irritable and pissing him off isn't wise.
the other big part of him is that he's a drug dealer. been dealing since he was a sophomore. it's strange that for as someone as rich as him would waste his time dealing drugs, but he likes that feeling that people need him for something. and earning money on your own is never a bad thing. he likes to stay one step ahead so if his father ever decides to cut off funds, he has his own money piling up. with his drug dealing, he is very professional about it. with his female clients he refuses to get involved romantically with any of them. he's very legit about this small business of his.

LIVING SITUATION: valks
HISTORY: doesn't it sound professional, powerful, and wealthy, when you are a third generation male with the same name as your grandfather? well, that is the case with this set of ambrose's living in valkyrie since thomas the first moved his family here back in the day. his only son, thomas, went to the academy, and even stayed here and attended to the university. thomas later followed in the footsteps of his father and took over the family business of buying and selling properties, buildings, etc. fresh out of college and working at his father's company, thomas met blair ford, a sweet young woman. she was from a middle-class family and was working as a waitress when thomas met her in the diner she worked. he was smitten with her. well, anyone would be. she had long pale blonde hair, clear blue eyes, and a warm smile. complete package, right? as a very forceful business man, it didn't take long for him to take her out. she was a few years younger than him, didn't go to college. in fact, she was a failed actress in los angeles, and instead of going back home to vermont, blair found herself in valkyrie, waitresses and wondering what to do with the rest of her life. thomas was her out. not that blair was anywhere near materialistic or fake. she just wanted something. two years after the run-in at the diner, they married. thomas was 28, and blair was 20.
with the marriage, came the wealth. it's not like she didn't like it, but she wasn't flaunting fur coats and diamond rings everywhere she went. blair was young and in love. and thomas was good to her. they were a madly in love young couple. thomas encouraged blair to go back to school, and she did, getting a degree in history. blair didn't want to have children right away. she said they needed to establish their marriage and relationship first before they tried to get pregnant because they were young. around the time blair was 27, they started trying to have kids. but it was much harder than it seemed. finally two years later she got pregnant. they were having a girl, and her name was to be caroline. thomas and blair were excited, his family was excited. it was a very joyous time for everyone. that was until six months into the pregnancy she had a miscarriage. blair wasn't fully herself after that. thomas saw it, but she didn't want to talk about it at all, so he just stayed silent ready for her to open up, if she ever wanted to. when blair found out she was pregnant for a second time, it wasn't greeted with happiness and excitement like the last pregnancy was. it was rather bittersweet. they just took it slow, a day at a time, hoping everything was going to be alright. nine months later, they had a healthy baby boy, in which they named him thomas jesse ambrose III.
blair was never a fan of the generation-ized name, but she knew it meant a lot to thomas and his father, so she agreed to it. she was the one that gave him the nickname of 'tommy' and he had been going by that since then. for all the love she had for caroline, she gave that love to tommy, believing that this was all a sign that god granted her with a baby finally. the ambroses were back to normalcy for a while there. thomas' work caused late nights at the office but always tried to make time for blair and tommy, though it had become quite difficult. blair cared deeply for tommy but the lack of attention she was getting from thomas took a toll on her. she use to be so happy, but she felt like this wasn't the life she was suppose to have.
thomas could tell she was not the same, but work seemed to come first for him, as he was soon becoming a ghost to his wife and son. maybe her depressive state was the reason he left her alone. this somber family life continued and tommy started growing from a baby, to a toddler, and then to a child, well aware that his family life was a little off. blair was now on medications to treat her depression but somedays she just didn't take them because it made her feel not like herself. when she did take them were what tommy called her 'good days.' he had a rather distant relationship with his father, and a close one with his mother. but as young as he was, he wanted to have loving parents that were loving to each other. and then, as a young child, tommy had scoliosis, which was another hardship the family endured. blair thought god delivered her with a healthy baby boy, instead he gave tommy a crooked spine. she thought she deserved at least one perfect think in her life. evidently, she didn't. thomas and blair just had tommy have surgery to fix the spine and inserted screws to make the bones fuse together along the spine. sure, he was fixed, but blair didn't see it that way, she saw it as punishment for her own personal issues.
the older tommy got, the easier it was to see his mother was becoming increasingly worse. however, he felt like he couldn't do anything, and every time he told thomas about it, he said he'd do something. that never happened. tommy would just begin to pray his mom would begin taking her pills again. sadly, when tommy was in the sixth grade, his mother committed suicide in the master bathroom of the ambrose mansion. when his father told tommy what blair had done, he threw a fit. he yelled at his father for not helping her, told him that he was a useless husband and he was the reason blair committed suicide. though tommy was so extremely pissed at his father, the two acted like a normal father and son that just lost the woman they loved the most. thomas and tommy's relationship hasn't been the same since. but in the rich society way, no matter how different you are at home, in front of everyone else, you're perfect. on the inside, tommy had a real tough time dealing with his mother's death. he jsut didn't know why she would leave him here with his father. it was a lot of angry emotions he had in which he had to go to therapy [something he still goes to] when he acted out in class one too many times. when blair died, she left two suicide notes. one for thomas, and one for tommy. tommy never asked his father when she had written down in that letter. for his own? well, it is still tucked inside his bed-side table in between the pages of the novel heart of darkness. he doesn't want to know his mother's last words to him. maybe someday, but right now he can't bring himself to read it.
and the older he got, the more sinister and the bigger jerk he became. he stuck with his other rich group friends and when he was a sophomore in high school, he started dealing drugs. not for the money, [though his own cash was nice] but more of a big 'fuck you' to his father. thomas doesn't know of this new job tommy got, but tommy only wanted to prove he didn't need his father's money to survive in the real world. he's been pretty good of doing things on his own and taking care of himself and about a year ago, thomas finally married again. he had girlfriends. young busty blondes that sometimes, if drunk, couldn't tell the difference between thomas and tommy. nice treat on tommy's part, but thomas ended up settling for charlotte slade. she had two kids. the first and last time tommy met them was at the wedding. so much for family right? anyways, it wasn't like it was for love anyway. thomas had love, and that love killed herself, so now he was just settling for companionship. anyways, the marriage didn't really have an effect on tommy, he just went on his merry way, becoming a senior finally and having absolutely no idea what he was going to do after graduation.
