ETHNICITY: Grecian
HAIR COLOR: Brown
EYE COLOR: Blue
HEIGHT: about 5"5
WEIGHT: about 118
BODY TYPE: Tessa has a slim, toned and fit body because of working out at the gym often.
DISTINGUISHED FEATURES: She has a tattoo right under her chest saying, "Just Breathe". Whenever she looks at it she remembers not to let anything in life bring her down, and after her mother passing away she needed some motivation and the tattoo helped. She has three ear piercings as well.
PERSONAL STYLE: Tessa was raised in a family with two older siblings who spoiled her when it came to shopping and buying her clothing. Her and her sister were close, and she always wanted Tessa to be the best because she knew what it felt like not to be a part of the popular crowd. Knowing that fashion was a big part of things she took her shopping almost every weekend and that’s what made Tessa so into different styles. She wears preppy clothing but with a little edge to them. In the past she didn’t like ripped up jeans, or black army boots, but lately she has been becomes more and more interested in them. She also likes to keep things simple sometimes, wearing a pair of sweat pants and a tee-shirt when going out to walk her dog. Usually her clothing when going out with friends consists of, a pair of jeans, a tee-shirt or tank top and a pair of heals or flats. Colours that she enjoys wearing all the time are black, white, burgundy, violet and blue. She likes deep colours because they make her feel safe.

IN YOUR MOUTH, IN YOUR SOUL ,
CHARACTER PERSONALITY ,
the more we move ahead the more we're stuck in rewind
STRENGTHS: head strong, free spirited, ambitious, spontaneous, intelligent, musical, artistic.
WEAKNESSES: sports, stubborn, love, boys, being in a tough situation with friends, trusting people.
LIKES: texting, baking, the colour red, boys, shopping, singing in the rain, setting herself apart from everyone else, starting trends, sketching, coffee, going to parties, hanging out with older people, and trying new things.
DISLIKES: playing sports (working out is alright though), getting heartbroken, bad weather, getting sick, being tired, waking up early, sudden noises, being wrong, having to rely on people, letting people down, bad smells, hot dogs, hospitals.
FLAWS: Tessa can be a bit arrogant depending on the situation, self-centered, she keeps her problems to herself and when they get bad she finally asks her friends for help, and she sometimes has a temper as well.
HABITS: Bites down on her lip, writes songs about depressing situations too much, twirls her hair, and lying to others (if it's best for them or if she just doesn't want to get other involved).
SECRETS: The two secrets that no one other than Tessa knows... well one other person too actually ... are, that she has never had sex with anyone, she is still a virgin but that is not what everyone else thinks. Also she had a few bi-sexual moments in her freshman year with a junior who is now a senior, and that girl told her that if she ever told anyone that she tried to get her in bed, she would ruin her reputation forever.
BEST MEMORY: One of Tessa's best memory's in life was when she met the boy that she is in love with. When she met him she didn't want to show people that she liked him because he was way out of her league. They met through one of Tessa’s close friends, and Tessa was amazed at everything that happened that night. They were at a bonfire just after school had started for the year, it was a back to school party and everyone was getting drunk. She wasn’t quite in the mood for drinking so she sat back and just watched the sunset for a while. He came over to her and asked her why she was alone and she told him that she was just a little tired. Even though he was there with his friends he spent the entire night with her, talking and doing nothing else. By the end of the night she knew that she could possibly love this guy, they exchanged numbers and now they are practically a couple. The only this is that now they have problems. Sometimes she wishes that she could go back to that night where everything was new and untouched.
WORST MEMORY: Tessa’s worst memory in life by far is watching her mother die. One day, last summer Tessa and her mother were driving to New York for a photo shoot that her mother had booked Tessa as a gift for her. They were singing along to a song on the radio when all of a sudden Tessa heard the car behind them speed up and after that everything was blurry until her and her mother were at the hospital. They lay bed by bed and she had a feeling that her other was not going to make it. When the doctors came in, she knew that they had been in a car accident. The doctors had not seen her eyes open but she heard them talking about how severe her mother’s injuries were, and that she would probably not make it. When they left, Tessa tried to get up and walk over to her mother’s bed to hold her hand, but before she made it up, she heard a noise that she knew meant that she had just lost her mother. The flat line.
OVERALL PERSONALITY: There is so much about Tessa that no one really knows, and you want to know everything there is about her don’t you? Well here you go, just don’t get too sick of her. Tessa can be a little insecure at times, she doesn't think she's good enough for anyone and has felt that way since she was younger, when she started acting she was scared to act in front of people, and she knew that it wasn’t the best thing for her. When she wrote music she was too scared to show people, but now that she thinks about what her mother would have wanted for her, she knows that she needs to get over that and live life to the fullest.
Tessa is also very protective of her friends. She looks out for people that she is really close to, her father, brother and sister in particular. She doesn't want to see her friends or family get hurt and will go to extreme lengths to protect them from pain. She feels like a failure when they get hurt anyway and blames herself for not trying harder. She cares more about them than she cares about herself, if they get hurt she gets hurt the exact same way even if the situation doesn’t involve her.
As you have noticed, Tessa is extremely emotional, she doesn’t let her guard down in front of people, but she does let her feelings out a lot. She isn’t afraid to cry helplessly for days in her room, all she needs is some ben & jerry’s ice cream and a Nicholas Spark’s movie and she’s all good for a night alone. She’s very emotional and certain things trigger these emotions if its real life or television show, everything leads back to a story for her, good or bad, usually bad, she cries. She doesn’t think that showing her emotions is a bad thing; she thinks it’s exactly what she needs to stay sane in this world. It’s like therapy after having a bad day at school, except it’s free of charge and no one else has to know about it. So never tell this girl that showing emotions is a bad thing, because she will prove you wrong.
Even though Tessa can be a little shy at times, she has her outgoing moments. She can hold a conversation with just about anyone. She doesn’t mumble thanks to all her acting classes, but she projects, but not as much as she does on stage though. She finds talking to people interesting, but she does enjoy her silent moments too.
Love, love, love. That is what she wants most in life. To give love, to be love, to see love. She loves love, if that makes sense at all. But the point is she enjoys everything about love. The feeling you get when you are in love with someone, the feeling you get when someone you love gets hurt, and most importantly the feeling when you are loved. All she wants in life is love, and if she doesn’t have that, she’d rather not be on earth.
Being rejected hurts for Tessa. She has never really been rejected; people have always liked her, which is why rejection is something new to her. Starting to walk into the real world and being in high school can hurt sometimes, and she is learning little by little that she can’t be accepted by everyone that she meets. Even though that may hurt, it’s a good thing because being accepted by everyone can be a bad thing as well. That’s all for now about Tessa, you might just have to get to know her a little better to be her friend though, because there is so much that she doesn’t even know about herself yet.

HOMETOWN: Santorini, Greece
PARENTS: Apollo Stavros Rhodes - forty-nine - has been an attorney for thirty five years. Elena Rhea Rhodes - Her mother passed away last summer at forty-eight years of age, she was a fashion designer.
SIBLINGS: Tessa has two older siblings. Michael Rome Rhodes and Kristina Erna Rhodes. They are twins, both 19 years old and attend college in Valkyrie.
OTHER: She has a German Shepard puppy named Antonio, who she's had since she was seven.
LIVING SITUATION: dorms.
HISTORY: Tessa Kaya Rhodes was born in Santorini, Greece on May 10th, 1994. She was the last born to her mother and father, and sister to the twins who were three years older than she was. Tessa was always the favourite when it came to her parents because she was the youngest. They thought that her siblings were lucky that they had each other to lean on, but Tessa was alone so they tried to show her the most love and compassion. Her mother always wanted her to be kind to others, as any other mother would want for their child. But Elena wanted her daughter to be active in the community, which is why she made her want to take her daughter on all her charity outings, gatherings, etc.
At the age of three Tessa’s father Apollo had the opportunity to open a practice in Valkyrie, California. Elena did not want to move their children there, but at the end agreed to it because she knew that what Apollo had was a once in a lifetime opportunity. She promised herself that her children would not be sucked into the “American culture”, too far. By that she meant that she didn’t want her children acting like the children in America acted, partying every night, having sex, and doing drugs, of all which happened in Greece as well, she just didn’t want her children to get into it too much. She had lived in America for a few years when she was in University and did not want her children to end up like some others there.
When Tessa moved to Valkyrie, it was not too difficult for her to make friends, it was actually pretty easy. That was the problem. Her mother didn’t want her having too many friends, because she knew that it could cause problems when she got older. She told her that her friends were friends at school but when she came home she would not be too involved in their life, which was a hard thing to understand for a four year old child, but Tessa tried to understand her mother and obey her.
Tessa was always interested in the arts, music and drama. Her mother wanted to help her get to her dream. Tessa and her mother frequently made trips to New York as well as Hollywood for photo shoots, as well as auditions. She got a few commercials and she had an opportunity to star in a television show but her mother wanted her to finish school before starting to act professionally. Even though Tessa did want to start acting, she knew that her mother knew what was best for her, and she agreed to wait, even if she lost interest in it after a few years, for that time it was just a hobby, a very fun and interesting hobby.
At the age of fourteen, Tessa started dating. She had had crushes on boys before, but it was the first boyfriend that she had ever had. Her parents hadn’t wanted her dating yet, but she convinced them which was not very hard for her to do since her parents loved the boy. He wasn’t the type of guy who was into drugs, partying or any of that stuff, which was perfect for her mother. He and Tessa had been friends for the longest time and them being together was long overdue. After a little while they both realized that they were better off as friends. They never fought, they were always too nice to each other all the time, and Tessa thought that a relationship like that was no fun. She wanted a little excitement, not the same thing over and over again each day. It wasn’t exactly a heartbreak that she had when they broke up, it was just not meant to be, and she knew that she would find someone that she loved soon enough.
After that breakup her life was normal for a while, she didn’t want to date anyone because she wanted to be single for a while. She went out to parties and hung out with friends often, but mostly she tried to focus on writing music. She had gotten over acting, she still loved it, but music was her biggest passion at that moment in time. She loved that she needed nothing else other than a pencil and a paper to write out her feelings and it could turn into a Lyrical song. It made her happy and it felt good. She only showed her sister the songs and no one else. She was too afraid of what other people would think of her style in music, or what she wrote. Her sister always told her that she should show her friends, but Tessa was scared. Scared of what everyone would think.
Last summer was one of the worst summers that Tessa had ever lived. She and her mother were driving to New York when they got into a car accident. She had watched her mother die right in front of her at the hospital, and she felt like it was her fault that she died. Her father and sibling had not gotten to the hospital in time to say goodbye, and she hadn’t even said goodbye to her mother. She was her biggest role model, losing her was the worst thing that had ever happened to her. She was still numb, even now she is still numb when she talks about her mother to anyone, but a certain boy helped her realize that everyone passes away, and her mother having the biggest influence on her was the best thing that could ever happen to her. Tessa living to keep her mother proud was what she was doing now, and what she would do forever. She promised herself that she would show share her music with others, because that would have been what her mother would have wanted if she had read it.
Who was the boy that helped her realize that her mother would have wanted her to live instead of stay in her room everyday without any interaction with others you ask? Well that is --- --- ---. They met at a bonfire at the beginning of the school year, a bonfire that she hadn’t even wanted to go to, but her father had made her because he hated seeing her at home all the time being so lonely. He missed his wife as well, but seeing his daughter so sad made him feel like he needed to step in and do something, making her go out that night was one of the best possible ideas that he had ever had. And that is all because of the fact that she met the boy that she is currently in love with.
He made her happy, happier than she had ever been. They talked everyday and every night, and they never got tired of each other. Tessa had heard so many rumours about him, he was a junior that really got around according to everyone else, but he hadn’t shown the slightest touch of that. She knew that everyone was probably true; she just didn’t want to believe it. That was because she wanted everything to be like a fairytale, she didn’t want him to be a player who would probably leave her if he met someone better than her. But that is exactly what happened, or what she thought was happening. He and her best friend were hooking up right behind her back, and she knew it. Tessa and --- --- --- were not official yet, so she couldn’t do anything about it, or that was what she thought at least. She had never actually been in a relationship, she had no idea how to handle this, and she didn’t know what she was going to do.
What happens next in this messed up girl’s relationship? Well no one knows yet, because it hasn’t been lived. Good or bad? She will always have her family to lean on.

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:Chloé didn’t believe a word that she was saying, about how she wasn’t into the freshman hazing. Of course she was, who would be that stupid not to have fun with tormenting the little kiddies? She knew that when she was a senior she was defiantly going to be doing it, wfho in the right mind wouldn’t. Even if she was one of the sweetest people ever, everyone needed to be taught a lesson, and after that they could be let into the ‘inner circle’ or whatever they call it here at Marrywood. Maxine stared at her; she knew that Maxine was probably put through something exactly like what she was doing to Chloé. Chloé knew that she had it easy; she wondered what they did to the freshmen and new kids that they didn’t like at all. She knew that she had it easy because she had once seen it being done to the 7th graders in middle school. She felt bad for them, that was a sure thing, but it was something everyone had to go through. Chloé nodded at everything that she said to her, knowing that eventually she was going to have to do something that hurt someone else or make a fool out of herself. This task was something easy and she knew it. The thing was that she hated hurting people, and doing that to that girl would be so horrible, she wouldn’t be able to sleep all week probably.
Maxine started again, talking about how no one would get hurt except her friend that was sitting at the table. Chloé didn’t even know her name, but she knew that she was someone who was being dragged along by Maxine. The girl gave her a weird look then calmed down after Maxine gave her a terrorizing look. Chloé knew if she didn’t do this, her life at Marrywood would be torn up into little pieces before it even started. Maxine told her that the girl at the table was with her friend and that he was cheating on the other girl with the girl at our table. That was so horrible, why couldn’t this guy just tell his girlfriend this. Chloé thought that if that was happening to her, she would defiantly want the person doing it to tell her and not a stranger. But she guessed that this was the way things worked around here, and she would have to use to it sooner or later. ”Wait a second, so he doesn’t really like her, well that’s a different story then.” It really wasn’t, but she had to make her believe that she was in this game for good, and that she was going to do it.
Alright, so if Chloé did this, she would be in. Nothing else would be hurting her. She may have a few nightmares about the girl who she’s going to hurt, but it was all good. She thought about it this way. If she didn’t do this, that girl would be living in a lie, and people would know what was going on but she wouldn’t. Better to let her know now than later, right? But she knew that she was doing something horrible, she just had to get with the program and live with it. Nothing in life was supposed to be easy, and this was just an obstacle in the road. Chloé looked down at her freshly manicured nails and started talking to Maxine. ”Okay, so if I do this, what would I say to her?” She didn’t want to hurt this girl too much, just let her down…”I don’t usually do this, people used to help me out with this sort of stuff you could say, so I’m new to the whole letting people down.” She sounded like a five year old asking her mom for help and she knew it. Hopefully Maxine didn’t think that she was pathetic.credit: format by lainey, lyrics by modest mouse
