parties, premiers, clubs, oh my. always up for a dark and crowded room, johnny attends functions like these on a regular basis. while most people are out on the dancefloor shaking and grinding to some new rap or pop song, or stuffed in a corner somewhere snorting coke and shooting up, johnny is different. he immediately finds the liquor and a less-than-ghettopacked couch to settle down. johnny is the quiet observer. those in his inner circle know that he definitely has a side to him that can go sort of crazy, let loose and dance and get out there, but the people who are in that circle are most likely the only ones that will ever see that side of him, outside of photographers. despite his wallflower behavior, johnny is definitely noticed. he has a commanding and powerful presence, and people often feel drawn to him and his blunt atmosphere.

if you need to know one thing about johnny, it's that he's not afraid to be himself. he is going to tell it to you straight; no embellishments, no sparkles, no rosy tints. it's all honesty on his side, and he sincerely appreciates when other people do the same with him. brutally honest? yes. going to give you a piece of his mind? hell yes. tramps, players, and wannabes beware. this kid will not hesitate to let you know exactly how pathetic and fake you are. you know those unspoken rules that say we are required to be polite to those with power? johnny doesn't care. he gives respect to those who respect him and respect themselves. everyone else, in the words of johnny, “can go climb a fuckin' tree, for all i care, just get the hell out.”

for a guy, johnny is very elegant. this doesn't necessarily mean that he wears armani suits everywhere he goes, but he takes care in making sure he is styled. johnny has pride in himself and his appearance and it is very obvious to anyone that comes in any sort of contact with him. he is very intelligent, and will start using pretty big words if he's especially angry, but usually will stick to pretty average speech. he has a class that generally comes with money and intelligence, and he is more than happy to make sure it is very prominent. he keeps a pretty good reputation for himself, and keeps the pricetag on life pretty high.

trustworthiness has once been compared to a block tower: it takes a long time to build it up and make it stable and sturdy, yet the simplest of actions is enough to destroy it all. johnny has a mentality similar to that of an italian mobster. once you're in the family, you're in. but if you really mess it up, it's over. it's a very rare thing to see anything that comes even close to a second chance when it comes to johnny z. if you get one, you'd be smart to keep yourself in line because johnny's mood might not be so nice next time.

HISTORY:
from the very beginning, johann rolf zweig was a creature of high-class design. born into a family of german royals and diplomats, johnny was a huge success that was celebrated by both his father's royal side and his mother's diplomatic side. he was a prince born of beautiful, young parents, and the product of a highly successful arranged marriage. johnny's parents had been married a year before his birth and quickly adjusted to the married life, actually ending up very much in love. when their only son was born, they realized, though, that the life of germany's golden child would be a rough one, and wanted him to have a life that didn't include constant limelight. the first six months of the baby's life were spent in germany before the family of three announced their move to england. their familes were extermely upset, but could understand the reasoning, and let the couple take their baby to london without a big fight. once they arrived, they found a lot with plenty of secluded acres to keep themselves from being the center of attention.
as a young child, johnny was placed in the most private of schools for fear that the paparazzi would get a hold of him and his family history, disrupting the easygoing life he lived. despite the rigorous curriculum, he absolutely thrived at his academics. he was passionate about learning all that he possibly could. his parents were beyond proud, buying him presents of new pets and bicycles and cameras and such when he brought home another shining report card. seeing johnny do so well with his schoolwork, his parents decided that it would be a good idea to get him involved in a little extra (and also that he would benefit from being more cultured), and so they hired a private tutor to teach him german. he would practice speaking it with them at the dinner table. they couldn't have been a more picture perfect family.
one day, when johnny was eleven and out in town with his mother, the young boy was stopped in the street by a young man who declared that johnny had a quite handsome face. his mother blushed and thanked the man, who then told them that he was a talent scout for a local modeling agency, and would johnny like to come in and audition? mrs. zweig was a bit overwhelmed but, after speaking with her husband that night, called the agent and confirmed that johnny would be delighted to work with the agency. johnny was hired right away, his sleepy eyes and tall figure his golden ticket into a world that he would grow to love more than anything else in the world.
modeling was going exceptionally well for johnny and his parents were, as always, very supportive of his work. one day, however, something very strange occurred. johnny had just turned twelve and was getting into the car with his agent when his parents filed in behind him. it was strange because his parents almost never actually came to gigs with him, but he shrugged it off and didn't let it affect his performance. on the car ride home, the news came. his parents explained that they came along to announce that the family would be moving to the united states. johnny and his agent were beyond devastated, but johnny was hurt the most. he grew a bit quieter everyday, still incredibly polite, but just a tad more reserved.
life was different in america. they were living in a place named valkyrie, in california. johnny was gaining popularity among his peers rapidly because of the odd american fascination with british accents, slang, and lifestyle. he appreciated all of the attention, and found that life here in valkyrie might not be so bad, especially since his agent had made a few calls and gotten johnny a modeling contract that began as soon as johnny entered high school. a year without gigs was hard on him, but it was made easier by all of his peers paying him so much attention. he loved the respect they gave him and the awed looks he received when he spoke, british accent and terms dripping from every sentence. his peers also helped to make up from the dwindling attention paid to him by his parents. sure, they still kissed his forehead and clapped him on the back when he made an achievement, sure they were still loving parents, but there were more and more vacations and nights spent locked away in their quarters than there were weekends spent with johnny. he realized that his parents were too wrapped up in their love for one another and the dedication they had for their families back in germany to have much energy left for him. he loved valkyrie academy, and he loved his job. he barely had enough time to keep up with everything, he was booked so often. freshman year through junior year passed pretty quietly. he had lost his virginity sometime in his junior year, but the girl had moved away soon after. johnny had a pretty nice circle of close friends, too; not too big, not too small. and he was finding it easier to meet new people through his art, especially since he was teaching himself piano. nowadays, his relationship with his parents is rather formal, seeing as they're almost never around. nobody knows it, but johnny misses his parents immensely. everything he does, he strives to be the best for himself and for the recognition from his parents. if they are home for a brief time, he will not hesitate to cancel all of his plans for that time to be with them.
