OVERALL PERSONALITY: Kaden is a hard read. Most people don't know how to take him, even in his own family. He's a very serious young man, very abrupt and to the point on issues. Kade doesn't like to waste peoples time with idle chat and deliberation and he doesn't like people to waste his time either. That's what makes him so ideal to run his father's International Marketing Company. He knows his stuff, even at the young age of 19, because he's grown up around it. When Kade puts his mind to something, he can always get it done and in a timely fashion. He's one of those guys that's always fashionably early, FOR EVERYTHING. When he's on a job he doesn't want to be distracted from it. He wants to focus on it until it's completely finished. But as good at running a business as Kade is, it's not what he wants to do with his whole life. He hates the idea of being cooped up in an office all day, even if it's a nice one like what he'd have. No, Kade has the overwhelming desire to join the army and serve his country. He feels that it would be a much better use of himself and that Phoenix would be better suited to run the company as she's every bit as good at it as Kade is, if not better. But he has yet to tell his parents this.
Not many people really know Kade for the sweet loving guy he is. Sure he's a tough hard nose many times, but he's got a soft, sweet center. This comes out mostly when he's dealing with his sister Phoenix, or Nixy as he likes to call her. With only 1 1/2 years between them, they're the best of friends and share everything, including the secret of Kade's girlfriend, whom Phoenix adores. It just about killed Kaden when Phoenix was diagnosed with Leukemia, but when she recovered, he got a tattoo on his arm, of a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Kaden is the type of older brother that goes to the mall with his sister to help her pick out clothes. He doesn't let her leave the house unless she looks like a million bucks. Kade is also the type of older brother that does background checks on boyfriends, which sorta drives Nixy nuts, but she knows he's only doing it because he loves her so much.
Although Kade isn't as close with Judas as he is with Phoenix, they're still pretty tight. They do brother stuff together. Go to car shows, hang out in the arcade at the mall, play paintball, lazer tag and so and so forth. Kaden often gives Judas advice on how to fix issues in relationships, even though Judas isn't quite in one yet. Kade always tells him that it's good to be educated on how to deal with the issues before they arrive. He also tells Judas that before he just dates any old girl that shows an interest, get to know her as a friend and make sure she's the one that he wants to spend the rest of his life with before he makes a move. That's what Kaden did and he's as happy in his relationship as he possibly could be.
When it comes to dealing with his girlfriend, Kaden is the sweetest, gentlest guy in the entire world. He handles her as if she were a fragile china doll or a precious gem, which is actually a reality in Kade's mind. Keeping up the relationship has been hard for Kade, only because he has to keep it a secret from his parents for now. And he knows that as hard as it is on him, it's a billion times harder on her. Kade is eternally grateful to her though for being willing to wait until he thinks the time is right to tell his parents about her. He also appreciates that she's so willing to support him going into the Army even though she's admitted that the very thought terrifies her.

HISTORY: On March 10, 1991, a bright sunny day in Los Angeles California, Kaden Delanor Vanderbilt III was welcomed into the world at 2:00 in the afternoon. He weighed in at 8 pounds 6 ounces and evern the nurses and doctors had to admit that he was the finest baby boy they'd ever seen. Delighted that their first child was a boy, his parents carried on the family tradition and named him after his father, Kaden Dalenor Vanderbilt II.
Kaden and Shawna adored the new addition to their happy family and decided to follow up a hear and a half later with another baby. This time a baby girl, whom they named Phoenix Parvarti Vanderbilt. Two more years passed and Shawna gave birth to another boy. They named him Judas Avery Vanderbilt. With a dream husband 3 beautiful children and a family fortune that couldn't be spent in 5 life times let alone one, Shawna felt more then complete...She felt blessed.
From his birth, Kaden has been a solitary child. He was content and happy , but very mature and serious for his age. He smiled often, purely out of politeness, but almost never lit up. Phoenix had been the only one that could really get him excited anytime she wanted. The siblings clearly adored one another and both had a very protective nature. Not only over each other, but over their younger brother, parents, and possessions.
The Vanderbilts were what one would call socialites. Shawna loved having and going to parties and being the center of society's attention as did her husband, Kaden, though he was more reluctant to admit it. With their station in life came a certain level of arrogance. They were polite to those of the lower classes, but never socialized with them. They thought it was improper. Shawna always said "They deserve my pity and charitable spirit, but no my friendship". Phoenix and Judas also enjoyed the parties, since they were gushed over by the guests, but Kaden shied away from it all. During family parties, even at his young age, he would make an appearance then disappear to gosh knows wear until all the guests had departed. Now matter how many times he was rebuked for it, he still did it. Kaden just couldn't stand the crowd.
His early school days were spent at home with a distinguished private teacher. Shawna required that her children learn at least 2 foreign languages, French being one of them and Italian the other. They were also required to play a classical instrument, Kaden chose piano and even though his heart wasn't in it, he practiced and worked hard at it, so as to please his mother. After 4th grade, Kade was sent to a private school in Los Angeles. Although he hated the social setting and having to mingle with the other children, he flourished and kept up his perfect GPA through his entire middle school career. The only extra curricular activity that the Vanderbilt could get Kade to participate in was Soccer. Through the sport he made several close friends. Outside of that small circle of friends the only people Kade associated with on a regular basis were his siblings and his seven cousins.
As the Vanderbilt children grew up, they sort of became known as the Brat Pack wherever they went. They were obviously a bunch of spoiled rich kids and while some of them had some worth, most of them were out of control and had been arrested at least once. However, if Kade was around, they all behaved, knowing that he wouldn't let them get away with further damaging the family name.
When it came time for high school, the Vanderbilt sent Kaden to the finest school in the country, Vanderbilt Academy. Kade wasn't crazy about having to live in a dorm with a bunch of other guys and be away from his family but he didn't complain, despite his obvious anger on the subject. It was during that first year in high school that Phoenix was diagnosed with Leukemia. Kade wanted to quit school and come home so he could be with her, but his parents refused to let him. After some dispute they came to a compromise and Kaden was allowed to come home on weekends. Phoenix battle with Leukemia lasted almost to years and several times the family thought for sure that they were going to lose her, but she pulled through. Finding out that she's conquered the disease was the happiest day of Kaden's life. It was that day that he got the tattoo of the Phoenix rising from the ashes his right arm. Although his parents were mortified, the tribute brought Phoenix to tears.
The next few years were happy for the family. No sickness, no deaths. Phoenix and Judas were in school at Valkyrie. Kaden was getting ready to graduate high school and the family could see that he was happier then he'd ever been in his whole life. When his parents would ask why, he would just say that he was loving life, which was partially true. But only Phoenix and Judas knew the reason why he was loving life. Kaden had met a girl, the girl!! She was elegant and beautiful, she loved him with all her heart and he loved her with all his heart. They were perfect for each other, accept for the fact that she was from a lower class family and went to a community high school instead of a private school like Valkyrie. Kaden wanted so badly for his parents to meet her, but he knew they would reject her because of her status and pressure him to leave her and Kade didn't want to put her through that stress, so they kept their relationship a secret from everyone accept Phoenix and Judas.
After graduation, Kaden took a year off before going to college. During that year he spent time traveling abroad with some friends from his soccer team and his girlfriend. It was during this time that Kaden discovered that he didn't want to spend the rest of his life cooped up in an office somewhere, even an executive one. He wanted to join the army and serve his country. Upon his return he informed his parents of this decision, but they refused to let him go. They said he already had an important duty and that was to serve his family by running the family business. So he enrolled at Valkyrie University with a Business Management Major, Business Law Minor. Although he is currently fulfilling his parents wishes, Kade no longer needs parental permission to join the army and hopes to enlist as soon as he finishes out the semester.

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:Things had ended on an awkward note with Judas and Brooklyn earlier that morning. And on top of it, when they'd gotten home both Mr. and Mrs. McCoy were waiting for them and they weren't too happy at the hour, but Jude had asked permission to get home past their usual time. It was obvious that both parents were suspicious of what their daughter and "adopted" son had been doing all that time and it was pretty obvious that their suspicions were correct, but they didn't exactly know what to do about it at the moment. Jude patched things up with Brooklyn as soon as they woke up for school, and just told her not to worry about anything. He promised to give her an answer by the end of the day, which really scared the heck out of him. Jude knew he wasn't ready to be a father, but he thought, perhaps for Brooklyn, he could become ready. It was obvious how much she wanted this and Jude was afraid he'd loose her if he said no. He just wasn't sure that he could say yes, not yet at least. It was all just a REALLY sticky situation. Judas hated being in sticky situations. The young couple held hands on the way to the bus stop and sat together on the bus as usual. They kissed several times, but neither of them said much of anything to the other, which was unusual and everyone noticed, but no one commented. Arriving at the school, they kissed once more on the steps outside before going off to their separate classes. On regular school days Brooklyn and Judas texted until they could see each other in person again, but this time they didn't send a single text to one another and the time until the lunch period seemed to take 4 times longer then it usually did. Jude needed to talk to Brooklyn. He just felt the need to reassure her that he loved her no matter what and he thought the words "Lets make a baby" might just slip out of his mouth during the conversation, but he wasn't sure. And furthermore, he was afraid that if they did, he might wish them unsaid the very next moment. Gosh he hated this. The bell for lunch FINALLY rang, and Jude jumped up out of his seat and started walking as fast as he could towards the lunch room. He had to shove his way through the crowded halls, but he had almost made it, only one more corner to round, when Julia Marsden, one of the most gorgeous and wanted girls in school stepped in his path. Being a nice guy Jude stopped in his tracks and smiled at her. She spoke first. "Hey Judas." she said in her usual sexy tone. She always talked to guys like that, or at least ones that she seemed to like. "Uh...Hey Julia." he replied politely, but still sounded like he was in a hurry, even though he was trying not to. Julia looked over his shoulder then back at him. "So I noticed you and Brooklyn haven't been speaking...or texting today...Having a little relationship trouble are we?" Jude sighed. "Well, y'know that's what happens when you're in a relationship, but I'm on my way to work it out now...We'll be fine." Jude replied confidently and smiled happily at the thought of working it out. Julia eyed him and smiled in her promiscuous way again. "Y'know Jude...Brooklyn's a nice girl...And she may care for you....some..." Julia shrugged and put one of her long nailed fingers on Jude's chin and traced its outline. Jude moved his head so that her finger slid off and he gave her a stern look. "But she's never cared for you as much as...I do." Julia finished and wrapped her long fingers around Jude head and pulled him into a kiss. Jude was shocked and tried to pull away, but she had a death grip on him. And just then, out of the corner of his eye, Jude saw Brooklyn coming down the hall towards them. Jude pushed Julia away and turned to Brooklyn. "Brooke!!" He sounded surprised. "I was on my way to look for you" Julia stood against the wall, arms crossed over her large chest.
