Triton City
Triton City was once a grand, wealthy, coastal city in Southern California. That is until mutants came. Mutants began surfacing all over the world, people with special, supernatural gifts. Triton City seemed to be the hub of all of this mutant activity. The government did not like these “mutants” and began a war against them. The government was corrupt however, when the President of the United States turned out to be a mutant. The President, Kalen Doomforge, was quite a bit like Hitler, persecuting his own kind. Citizens were up in arms, and when the President came to Triton City to rid the city of Mutants, he was killed, but not without destroying half the city with him.
In the aftermath of what was dubbed the Triton City Apocalypse, the city began to pick up the pieces. Mutants and Humans, though not embracing each other, found toleration and a smaller, grander Triton City was built, referred to as New Triton. This however, did not last long. The mayor of New Triton felt a hate for Mutants, and soon all mutants were kicked out of the city, forced to live in the ruins of Triton, referred to as Old Triton.
Now people go on with their lives, the wealthy and middle class gossip and live lives of drama and scandal in New Triton. On the other side of the gate, the poor and mutants make their home in the ruins, in Old Triton. With so much history and hate in this city, Triton City really is… anything but ordinary.
