[sarcasm] && sugar-coated SMiLES
With the lives of most common teenagers greatly revolving around their daily internet intake who needs real social scenes anymore? What with all the new fandangled messenger services who needs face to face contact anymore. Why bother bitching someone out to their face when you can post it all over the internet for the entire world to see. Well hey maybe you can even find love over the internet.. Okay no. It's the IDEA of someone that one falls for over the internet. Let’s face it. No matter how addicted to something you may get we all know the real deal is better. Everyone's just getting lazier.
So what's going on outside the internet? Well just push your special chair away from the computer table and take a look out the window. You're in Hampton, New York. A place where all kinds of people live and go about their daily lives.
The Hamptons are one of the most luxurious spots known to man. When you think of New York, you think of Manhattan, right? The Hamptons are our hidden secret. Think of them as the Laguna Beach of New York if you prefer. On the contrary to the over publicized drama in California, we choose to keep it within out beachside town. The drama isn't necessarily in smaller quantities, but we choose to save it for ourselves instead of sharing it with the world byway of MTV.
Previously, the drama and cliques have been the only problem in our little slice of heaven but there is something new and unknown lurking around us. Everyone, even the video game nerds who think they live within the world of Dungeons and Dragons are noticing the slight abnormalities. Do you ever get that feeling that you are being watched? Of course you do but it goes away after a second or two, right? Well for us.... wrong.
There is a stalker amongst us. No matter how hard you try, you are sucked into this tangled web of lies, cheating, and deceit. The question is... who is this said stalker? Is it your creepy Ancient Lit professor whose motives aren’t quite fatherly? Is it that jealous ex boyfriend that you dumped for another guy? Is it that girl who just won't quit? Or could it even be an outside source, new to the town, who is infatuated with the lifestyle.
Is it time to put the drama aside for a greater good? Or will it only continue to grow worse. Maybe even deadly. Will the stalker be found out? Or is it too late to stop? In a land of [sarcasm] && sugar-coated SMiLES, not everything is as it seems.
