The Legend
The Winchester Academy was founded around the 1600's by a man called William Winchester. For years this has been considered one of the most prestigious schools in London, but most people ignore what really goes on behind those walls. There is no secret that this is no ordinary school, some people believe it to be cursed...damned
100 years ago there was an incident here at the Academy, one that has become a local legend. Many students began to disappear, some were going insane and then there was a fire at the Academy and many students and teachers died. No one knows how the fire started, the students who disappeared were never found. To this day, no one knows what caused it, but some claim that the spirits of those students are haunting the place.
Now, history seems to be repeating itself. Many students have been vanishing, some turning up dead and nobody knows why.
The Academy
It is true, that the Winchester Academy has many secrets, and that it is not your everyday school. Maybe this is because part of the student body is not even human. Here you may find yourself being lab partners with a witch, or going on a date with a werewolf, your teacher may be a vampire and one day you may wake up not remembering where you've been or what you have done because you have spent the past few months possessed by a spirit.
But don't be afraid, because there are people who can protect you if you ever need help, and can also destroy you if you turn into the evil side. These are called Hunters, and they have been part of the school for generations. They make sure every supernatural being sticks to their code and hunt the one who breaks them
So be prepared, not only are you going to have to worry about exams, graduation, gossip, relationships and life in general...but you have to watch your back and be aware of your surrounding. You don't want to roam the halls in the middle of the night and be attacked by some evil spirit, now do you?
And you thought higher education was going to be boring...
