The Wolves Feed: Death Storyline is an ongoing Board Wide Storyline that has lasted for months now on SDL. We are in Chapter III already. We have a forum dedicated to this Storyline and within said forum, two sub boards. One sub board is for Chapter I, one for Chapter II and lastly one for Chapter III. Inside the Chapter II Sub board you will find the Steps in which we've covered, from Chapter I to where we are now in Chapter III -- a Re-cap of all events.
Also, atop the board ON the News Table you will see the Current Day/Month/Year and Weather. It is constantly updated as we move through this storyline. The whole board is involved in this Storyline. If you do not wish to join you can always post in COTD (Chronicles of the Damned), it's our side story room. You can be anywhere, at anytime in that room but make sure to date it. Now, to continue with the IC part of this storyline. If you are still interested, read on...
// ICThe Apocalypse is here..
"I'm sorry, is that pitiful wreck your city?"
In the beginning, Los Angeles was like any other city. People came and went, businesses rose and fell, children played in playgrounds, and traffic was an utter disaster. Your every day life lived by every denizen, some hoping for more while others were content with their lot. Then He appeared. It was Christmas Day, 2005, the day everything went straight to Hell. Now, on the eleventh day since Armageddon began, we have four times heard one of three manifestations of Death, itself, pronounce the end of all life within the city of Los Angeles unless his demands are met. None, except possibly those few that have flocked to join Death's army, know why he demands both the Tremere Prince, Garith Monroe, and Sabbat Regent, Darious Ghost, be slain; nor do they know why Death now shatters the masquerade so openly by word or horror. Death is not alone. We are not alone. Hell's gates have been opened and we are its inheritors.
The broken, Blood Red moon has hung in the sky since that first day, a symbol for those still alive that Death has not yet abandoned them in mercy. From the start the city has been doomed, without Death's two charges slain or brought before him; at first, hoards of demons spilled forth following the First Announcement--the first proclamation. This was followed by another, the Second Announcement, calling for the end of one poor soul, Jaayseph, for mocking Death openly. The child-man-woman entity had begun prowling the streets personally and did not favor the words of us wretches. He did, however, favor our deaths, soon acid, blood rain began to fall and eerie spectral fog filled the streets, sweeping through the mortal coil and draining it of life, slowly, a piece at a time.
Toward the end of the third, calendar day, the sun rose at last. Night had seemed endless since it fell on Christmas. Still, the moon remains, haunting us as Death's words were broadcast throughout the city a Third time. At last he'd found favor with us and spared us his wrath! The acid rain ceased, the fog parted, and we were given five hours to fulfill his commandment. Some scrambled to the cause, desperate to be free of this insanity. We were dying, just as surely as the zombies and demons that'd vanished in sunlight, rays shooting over the ruins of spires reaching up into the sky as the Tower of Babel. Those hours passed, sadly, unfulfilled and a deep, long cold fell over the city. Death would not purify us with flame, but lock us in ice.
A day passed, the blizzard abated, but the cold lingered. The sub-zero temperatures chilled us to the bone, gradually warming but never above freezing. New monstrosities appeared and devoured the still living alive! Madness was sure to over take more as supplies began to grow scarce. News Years Eve fell upon us and Death taunted us with electricity's return, images of a happy New Year filled our televisions of a world that had forgotten us. We no longer mattered. Los Angeles, the City of Angels, just gone and no one had noticed. The temperature continued to warm each day, but was there an end in sight?
The first days of the New Year passed dreadfully slow. Now, on January 5th, the sun burns in the sky, scorching all and boiling water, illuminating the husks that remain. People cower in fear, and Death begins to tighten the noose about one of his prey. Zombies have begun to run free, plagues have begun to ravage the weary, and even the water we need to survive is defiled. Then, in our moment of utter despair, the Fourth declaration is heard, his army summoned, ready to be set free to ravage those few remaining. I fear this may be the end. These may be my final words, but I don't know what to say. I am afraid. Is there any one left that can save us? Is there any one left, but my self?
Any one?
