Valentine Past & Future
Setting: A fictional city located between San Diego and L.A. in the state of California, called Valentine. There are two separate time lines, one in 1849 about the original settlers of the town, and the other in 2049 about the current modern day residents and the famous academy which resides there.
Story: Valentine, California is a town originally founded by people with special abilities, during the days of the California gold rush. But in the year 2049 it is a city of thousands and is famous for the type of people that seem to live there, as well as for Valentine Academy. Valentine Academy, also called VA by some, is a boarding school that takes students from 15 to any age with a special ability, everything from animation to x-ray vision, that wishes to learn more about it or how to control it better. The public is well aware of the 'gifted', and as in most cases of that which is different than the norm, some accept and others fear and shun. Valentine as a result is a haven for those with a gift, but not everything is paradise here. Come join the city, whether in the past or future, or come join the academy, and let the drama unfold.
