Gone are the days when lines of men waiting to enter the depths of the coal mines for another day of work in the small town founded by Patrick Calhoun. Now a days, the only big lines are out side of the cineplex, to catch the months latest thrilling flick. The north side of town, with its more upscale families has a mall for any shopping needs, and a beautiful park for the best recreational needs. The rest of the town isnt too shabby either, small neighborhoods spread through out town have green lawns, and impeccable paint jobs. An odds and ends sort of a collection of shops and resturaunts line friendly looking side walks. Sounds like a postcard picture of suburbian perfection, right?
Wrong. As perfect as it maybe look from the outside, Calhoun Creek is far from it. The towns people are no different from anyone else. Every one has their own flaws, down falls and vices. And of course, lets not forget the all important occasional skeleton in the closet, neighbors and strangers alike. Most people know how to keep quiet and prefer to have matters stay private, and for those who dont? Well that is expected from people now and then. Knowing who to trust, and who can be considered a real friend is all part of the game, who wins and who loses are all up to fate. After all, isnt that just part of life?
