It was the classic storm. Rain was pouring down harder than it had in years, lightning illuminated the sky, and the thunder muffled the cries of a young teenage girl as she was dragged through the woods towards the high school.
For 16 year old Molly Hinkens, it had been a normal day. She had gone to school, went on a date with her boyfriend Josh Andrews and then sat in her room to study for the geometry test the next day. After she had finished, she had gone to bed and awaited the following day. At one AM she had heard voices. She thought that they were coming from the window, but she was so wrong. She went to take a look and she was grabbed from behind. She felt one person hold her, one gag her, and the other tie her arms and legs. They threw her out of the window to the ground three feet below. She tried to let out a scream, but it couldn’t be heard above a muffle, and people would think that it was just a girl moaning in her sleep.
Once the three perpetrators had rejoined their other comrade by the car, one girl took Molly and bashed her head against the car. Molly went unconscious. A few minutes later, she would wish that she had never woken up.
The group of girls had driven to the woods, and they left their car amongst the trees.
“What were you thinking?” one girl asked. “Getting into her bedroom like that! We could’ve gotten caught!”
“Sorry, Gina,” the girl responded. “Her parents weren’t home. I thought it would be ok.”
“Well it wasn’t, Natalie! You could’ve put this whole thing in jeopardy!”
“What does it matter? We’re just gonna scare the pants off of her, so who cares?” a third girl asked.
Gina just smiled knowingly at Amy. Oh yes, Molly would be scared. Molly would get exactly what was coming to her. She would know what it felt like to be ganged up on and have no one to turn to. It was her turn to feel the pain, to have no way out of her despair. Gina picked up Molly’s limp body and started dragging her towards the high school. After hitting a rock, Molly woke up and realized what was happening. She tried to scream, but she knew that no one would be able to hear her. She saw that there were actually four girls, and that made her even more scared. What would they do to her?
The following morning, the staff at East End High School was met with a frightening sight as they looked out to the back of the school. Molly Hinkens was tied to the fence that outlined the woods. There was blood everywhere, especially on her hands…or lack thereof. Her hands had been cut clean off. Not only that, but her tongue was cut out. Altogether she had 57 stab wounds, and her hair was shaved off in a disordered fashion. Whoever had killed her definitely had a point to get across.
When the announcement was made at school, Gina Dupree wore a smirk on her face all day. No one seemed to notice except for Natalie Vander Stein, Amy Jacobson, and Leah Ames.
No one ever found the killer, but Gina and her crew went on to kill 5 other girls, in an equally grusome way, that attended high school with them before their graduation. Then, the Portland Serial Killer seemed to disappear.
But Gina and Natalie decided that it was time to return to their old school. They each took up a teaching position to see if things had changed since they had done their deed…

The headline of the Portland Gazette spread like wildfire. 47 year old Amy Jacobson and 47 year old Leah Ames had both killed themselves by jumping off of the Lighthouse and falling to their deaths. They each left behind a husband and 3 kids shocked beyond belief.
They hadn’t been able to handle the guilt. They couldn’t do it anymore. They admitted to everything in their suicide note, but they never uttered the names of the other two accomplices. Still, the news of the suicides wracked the town. They had had the the perfect house, the perfect jobs, the perfect children, the perfect life. So why were they so miserable. The answer came when the suicide notes leaked to the press. No one could believe that the people they knew and loved could have done something so terrible. But there it was in black and white.
And now there was one question on everyone’s mind. Who were the other two? People wondered if they were still in Portland or if they were on the move again. It was a scary situation for all, but the police assured people that the killers were not active. Slowly people started to get back to their normal lives and forgetting their interest in the secret lives of the rich and well known of the town.
Until the police started an active investigation.
That led people to believe that the killers were still at large and looking for more blood. Natalie was always on her toes, but Gina couldn’t have been calmer. She knew that the police wouldn’t come knocking on her door unless it was to pay condolences. After all, Leah and Amy were her dearest friends.
Will the police realize that it was Gina and Natalie all along? Will they kill again, or will they recruit their family members to do their dirty work for them? And other then this, what's really going on in Portland?
