Arizona was a proud, young, free stallion; he had everything going for him. The grey Andalusian had just challenged for a herd-land and came out of the battle victorious, with his new herd – Barretta – came responsibility. He was proudly leading by himself when humans came on horseback, he galloped hard and long but in the end they caught him, there were too many ropes and too many people. But at least he was successful in keeping the two-leggeds away from his herd.

Arizona fought long and hard against the humans as he was reluctantly pulled away from his newfound passion, from his home. The soldiers tried to break him in for use in the army, shoving cold hard metal in his mouth and winching a girth tight around his stomach. But he was free, he would never give in, sure the humans hurt his pride but he managed to break free one day. He doesn’t remember how, but he did.

But the soldiers have now returned, rounding up horses once more as they prepare to troop into battle. The two-leggeds have made a path so they have easy access into the horses roaming lands. Many stray to those lands, even though they know the humans can come and take them, it is such a picturesque place it lures them in.

Will you follow Arizona’s Path?
