Everyone knows this; that we have been getting a little hetic around here, and we are in need of adressing a few things. The staff and I talked about all these topics and we are going to follow them. Everything in this announcement is super important. All the topics discussed below are to be read by every member, whether you be new, or an older member. =]

Celeb Claims
This has been become sort of a problem this past month or so. People are not claiming their celebrities once they have been accepted. You do not believe how important it is to claim your PB when you have been accepted. It is also important to reserve a celeb once you have one in mind. The limit right now to reserve a celeb is one and one only. I don't want it like we had it before, people reserving two, three, four, celebs. That's not fair to the other guests who would like to join but can't. It's not our (the staffs') job to claim your celebrity for you. Just do it right after you make an account.
Posts & IMs
Another little problem we have run into is the post rule. Yes, writer's block/muse is understandable, but one paragraph isn't cutting it. That makes it really hard for the person you are rping with to reply when you've only given them with six sentences total to work with. We are now pressing you to start making three paragraph posts. We know some people well exceed that, but we are changing the rule from two to three. Another thing is creating new characters. We all love new characters, with new plots and everything, but we also would still like activity with your characters. Just reminding you all that getting 75 posts is great, but it shouldn't be 75 posts worth of ooc corner, p&s, and especially IM threads. Heehee, IMing is not roleplaying, sorry guys. So if your account is alsmost all of these thigns above, your new character will be rejected.
Events
We have so much going on. Between cotillion, basketball games, and our own character plots, we are getting super overwhelmed with the threads we are in and all this stuff we are in need to reply to. So, we have decided on a little thing called: week-management.
We know the holidays for valkyrie are coming up, which means that Valkyrie will finally reach 2007 after almost one year human-time. But before we get to 2007 we are in need of working some things out.
1.) We want all these current events (cotillion.basketball.the play) to be done by this weekend if not early next week. The play has been going no where and we need to wrap up everythigng else to make way for bigger and better things.
2.) After the events are gone we are taking one to two weeks week. This is going to be event-free. In this week we are going to be working on our character plots we may have not been able to do with all the commotion going on around here. This way we can finish up the things we want to finish before new years'
3.) The week is longer. I'll have the roleplay week being probably December 19 - 30. So we are sorta skipping christmas, because most characters are spending holidays away anyway, so there is no reason why we need to waste another month our time for a small week on here. PLus, you can take a break from a few of your character's if they will be gone during this time.
4.) But, the good news is: we are preparing for another big event. The Masquarade New Year's Eve Ball! Yup, information on this new event will be posted sometime during our break of events so we can transition into the new plot and prepare for the new year Valkyrie Style!
