Oscar Lyon. That is a name you probably wouldn't expect to be in the same sentence of 'Student Auction.' But, since somehow the Art Club was putting on the show. Since the President was unable to attend, Mr. Lyon was thrown the job of the MC, and he couldn't refuse. To be honest, he was just going to skip the entire thing. Like he would ever be in it, and he would never be seen bidding on other students, to what? Take them out to icecream later. Even if it was for a good cause. All the money spent on the biddings was going to some local adoption agency in Los Angeles. November was National Adoption Month after all, so they thought the money going someplace that is related to November.
Surprisingly though, Oscar put his time and energy into this event. Staying after school many many nights for the posters, fliers, invitations, banners, auction order, seating arrangements. To say the least, Oscar felt like some of the women who planned their weddings. The event took so much time, at least he had some help from student council and the art club to help him. But he was the 'Project Leader' which meant he had the final say in anything. Which to him, was funny, since when people came up to him asking him what paint they should use on the banner, he felt kind of funny picking one, when he assumed the color didn't matter. But evidently, it did.
Now, Oscar Lyon, MC of the Evening, was standing behind podium looking at the list of student names, which he would have to announce in the coming evening. People were already filing in, finding a good spot in the auditorium, some chatting up others. He looked at his watch, which displayed 5:55. He tapped the microphone that was attatched the podium, "Um...five minutes everyone, five minutes," he said, not knowing what exactly to say. He stepped down for a moment to find the opening of the curtain and peeked in the curtain at all the other students that would soon be presenting themselves to everyone. "Five minutes," he said before returning back to the podium.
Five more minutes before the night would really begin. [/blockquote]

Nikki entered the Student Auction, looking more beautiful than evr. She wasn't going to do much...Or be in it at all. So why was Nikki going to be up for auction? Two words: Little Sister. Natalie had secretly volunteer her sister to be in the auction. She didn't tell Natalie until the day before the event.
So, Natalie was bidding and Nikki was going to be in it. It was origanally suppose to be the opposite. Unfortuantely, Nikki let her sister apply and do all that stuff. 'I should have known...' Nikki thought, looking at her sister. She wasn't surprised her sister did that, but was surprised that she convinced Nikki to dress on glamorous for the auction.
Jeans were worn. Nikki wasn't going to let her sister convince her into wearing a skirt. That was not going to happen. Yet, Nikki did wear a pink. A blue sweatshirt kind of clothing convered a little part of the pink. Except, the blue top was in a form of a T-Shirt. It had a pocket at the bottom, with some buttons lining up on top. Nikki had her hair curled.
Her sister wore green capris. The problem was, those capris were too long for her and looked like jeans. Her hair was tied into two braids with a red cap on her head. The cap was turned a little to the side. Natalie had a light blue AC DC T-shirt on. The words were show with the sides covered by a darker blue jacket.
Natalie, on the other hand, knew exactly what she was going to do. She was planning on bidding on Amanda or Joseph. She had heard what happened between Nikki and them. Natalie wanted them to talk and work things out...And so she was planning on bidding on them. Natalie and Nikki's parents wanted to help the charity, and so they gave a lot of money to Natalie...
Although, she had those plans, Natalie also had another one. Jake Stewart. Her good friend and crush. Natalie had a big crush on him, but didn't know how to tell him. The best thing she could do was bid on him so they can hang out..As friends. Plus, he didn't feel the same way, and so, Natalie didn't want to ruin their friendship.
"Come on!" Natalie said to her sister, pulling her gently by the arm. The auction was about to start, and Natalie was ready. She didn't let her sister know about her 'plan', and so Natalie acted everything out. Nikki had no clue...That is, unless Natalie actually won the bid.

Luke Summitt walked into auditorium, his hands stuffed in his pockets as he looked around, an uneasy look upon his face. He had dressed up fairly nicely for the evening. Of course, he always looked nice and well dressed, but that night he went the extra mile because the result of him attending the auction would be a date. Dark washed jeans matched with a grey sweater overlapping a button up white shirt adorned his body while fresh white sneakers were on his feet. To dress up his outfit, he wore a stripped tie over his sweater, a look not many could pull off. Taking a seat in the middle of the auditorium, Luke leaned back deep in thought.
So much had been running through his head over the past few days that this was the last place he wanted to be, but he had no choice. There was somebody that he desperately needed to talk to, and that somebody was in the auction. To add on to it, that somebody had been avoiding him for the past few days, so not only would he have to bid on them, he would have to do it knowing that she didn’t want to talk to him. Now, why would anybody, a girl especially, ever avoid Luke Summitt? Because they were keeping something from him, something that his stupid younger sister accidentally and unknowingly told him about only two days before the auction.
[recap]
”How was it?” Luke asked reluctantly as Amanda as she stormed through the kitchen looking extremely stressed. He was referring to lunch she had with Kelsey. “Did you tell her I said ‘Hi’?” he wasn’t particularly interested, it was probably just the normal boring girl talk. Unless they talked about him, of course.
“Uhh, it was fine” she poured herself a glass of water, chugging it down. “Ahh, I need something stronger” she started to walk over towards the cabinet containing the alcohol.
”You okay there?” he joked slightly rolling his eyes. He always found it funny when Amanda stressed about things because she usually turned something extremely small into a huge problem. She was a drama queen, and Luke found it absolutely hilarious.
“Don’t laugh Luke” she shook her head disapprovingly, “You just have no clue about anything, but, why would you? All you do is play sports and have sex with girls. Honestly Luke, it’s only gonna be a matter of fucking time until you knock some girl up and put her in the horrible position that Kelsey’s in now.”
“Wait what? Kelsey’s pregnant?” Suddenly he became much more interested in what Amanda had to say. Although he was doing poorly in school, Luke wasn’t stupid. He knew that he and Kelsey didn’t use protection when they were together, but God, he had no clue it would lead to this. “With what?”
“A baby, you dumbass”
“No, fuck you, you know what I mean. Who? Does she know who the father is?” he started to see his whole future slowly disappear before his eyes.
“Don’t pretend like you care, you barely even know her” Amanda said taking a shot and then looking back at him evilly. “Do you know how easily that could’ve been me? Why do you even care?”
“You’re right” he shrugged shaking his head. The last thing he wanted was for Amanda to know that he could possibly be the father. Sneaking around and hooking up with her friends was bad enough, getting them pregnant? That was a whole different story.
[end recap]
Rubbing his eyes, he took a deep breathe trying to take his mind off of everything. Not only was the pregnancy on his mind, but what Daphne had said still bugged him. He thought about it at the carnival, and he there he was thinking about it again. Daphne had said that hooking up with people was meaningless. That word was starting to eat him from the inside out. He thought of it as her basically calling his whole existence meaningless. Meaningless! He knew it was finally time for him to grow up and start forming real relationships with people, but he had never wanted to accept it. Until now.
He knew for sure that if she were to actually have the baby than he wanted to be apart of it’s life, there was no doubt in his mind about that. He needed for her to know that he was supportive of whatever she wanted to do, and wasn’t planning on taking the asshole route and leaving her to deal with it alone. Somehow it seemed that the right thing to do in his situation was to enter into a relationship with her. Would that make things better? Would that be something that she wanted? Would the support of a boyfriend help her through the experience? Although he hadn't seen her since their meeting in the Tower, he could feel himself being protective over her. Luke couldn't imagine her with another guy, and if any guy tried to bid on her that night his ass would be gone.
As he looked around at crowded auditorium, he rolled up his sleeve taking note of the time. 5 more minutes

Kelsey sat backstage on a crappy plastic chair, watching people rush around trying to get everything done last minute. She had one leg crossed over the other and her fingers were tapping her knee cap in an almost agitated manner. Kelsey was at a school function… after school hours, and she wasn’t even earning a grade for it. The most bizarre part of the whole thing was that Kelsey had volunteered herself to be auctioned off. It was for a good cause, that she realized and appreciated it, but still who wanted to stand on the stage and be auctioned off to a bunch of strangers? Especially after the week she’s had. Her mother had always been big with charities, and Kelsey herself had been to many functions and after ruining her car, she was in the doghouse as far as her parents were concerned. That meant no credit cards, no car, no nothing. This was her attempt to get on their good side, show that she was a valued contribute to society, make up for everything and get all her privileges back. It sure as hell better work.
Five minutes…
She heard the last warning come from somewhere up stage, and sat up a little straighter, ready to get up when she was needed. Her mood, regardless of the lame activities she was about to participate in was strangely happy. Something that would have had a huge toll on her life, not to mention the lives of select others, was no longer an immediate problem.
The arrival of a usually dreaded little friend was met with enormous happiness that morning as it signified the end of Kelsey’s pregnancy scare and the first time she had breathed easy all week. She was a bit embarrassed, now that nothing was happening, about the whole thing, and she was glad she never told Luke, whom she had kind of been ignoring the last couple of days. Ever since telling Amanda, Kelsey was sheltering herself from the world. It was her way of dealing with her problems, and well, it was working. She had got up the courage to buy a test, although she hadn’t yet used it, and that was a step in the right direction, but now she was happier then ever that the test wasn’t even needed.
Kelsey uncrossed her legs, which were barely covered but the black dress that she was wearing and sighed lazily, her eyes jumping around the area she was currently confined too. This night could go good or bad, and she could easily end up in a very embarrassing situation, that being that no one bidded on her. Wouldn’t that be hilarious? Here she had signed herself up for this in an effort to do good for the world, and then be snubbed in front of the whole school. But, she had a feeling that that wasn’t something she needed to worry about and tonight would be a little more eventful then she planned for. [Kelsey--> i18.tinypic.com/4bpu7nb.jpg ]

"Ice cream" Scarlett whispered. A smile rose on her face. She was trying to calm her nerves down by naming sweets that she would go and have after the auction. So far, ice cream sounded the best, but then again, a nice trip to the closest Fatburger sounded good too, because then she could have herself some fat fries, and a fat burger, oh oh, and a milk shake too! All these thoughts about food were really starting to brighten her day. But then again, it was starting to make her rather glum too, because at the moment, she wasnt able to get up and run to the nearest Fatburger, after all, an announcment was just recently made that the auction would start in about 5 minutes. "Fuck this" Scarlett sighed. She then began to stand up, and get ready to leave, but then something hit her. She needed to tell Reed about her, I mean, their baby. Dammit. Why did this have to happen, she wanted some food and she wanted it now.
If it wernt for the fact that she needed to talk to Reed, then she wouldnt have come here in the first place. She was dead set against auctions, ecspecially charity auctions. If those people in the adoption agencies needed money, than they could go and figure out a way to make some, instead of this fucking auction, she could be out at Fatburger, but nooo, the school just had to decide on helping the comunity. The damn fools. She felt like going to get her dad right now and telling him to sue the school for wasting her time, but, she couldnt. Not because she didnt have the guts to, but because she was forrbiddden to get withing two feet of her parents, after all, she was pregnate and had brought some bad energy into their home.
Then, just as she was getting herself all pissed off about the school wasting her time. Something came to her mind. Something important. Something that she needed despritly. SHe knew that if she didnt get this something, her whole day would be horrible. She needed this something to live. She needed a doughnut.
Her mouth started to water as she pictured it in her head, with its light crispy dough, glazed and shing with the light, the pink frosting, just slopped on top, and the massive amount of sprinkles, scattered into the frosting, then she pictured herself taking a bite out of it. Yum. It tasted good in her mind.
God, a doghnut was starting to sound good. After she talked to Reed, she was going to make him get her a doughnut.

So, the auction was about to start, and yet, Reed stood outside smoking his last cigarette. He wasn't even suppose to be here. He was suppose to be gone. In Los Angeles right about now. Now that Reed thought about it, he wondered why he ever changed his mind at the diner. Took his truck and drove back to his apartment, and laid down on his matress wondering why the fuck he just did that. Why was he still here.
If he remembered right, he wanted to leave because of Ashley, Joey, Alex, pretty much everyone that came in contact with him in the past week. His mind was so...clogged, he needed to forget about everything in Valkyrie for a good week or two, then return, claiming he visited relatives. That plan didn't even make it to step two: leave Valkyrie. Now this auction thing...he had nothing better to do, and too late to actually enter himself, (which some girls were dissapointed,) he decided he would just bid, probably on his friends. But damn, if he was in it. He would make some agency very happy.
He pulled his leather jacket closer around him. It was actually quite cold for November, and California. As he finished the last of his cigarette, he flicked to the ground and smashed it with the heel of his shoes. He quickly ran his hand through his hair before he flung open the doors of the auditorium. Serveying the scene, a lot of kids were getting in their seats. He saw Oscar looking down at something, so Reed thought it would be better if he didn't try and get his attention, he was probably under enough stress.
"Reed!"
He looked to see where the voice came from, and matched the voice with a sweet face. Diem Hayes. One of his best girl friend's little sister. Daphne told him that Diem would be looking for him since both her and Bianca would be in the auction. "Hey!" he said as he bent down to hug her. "I thought you were going to be a 'no-show'." Diem said and sat down in her seat. Reed noticed that they were front and center. He wondered how long she had been waiting here. But, they were great spots, so he wasn't going to complain. "Of course I wouldn't! I'll get to bid on beautiful girls!" he said laughing, sitting down next to her. "Anyone in particular you want?" he asked nudging her. She roleld her eyes at him and nudged him back, "I am purely here for the amusement of others bidding on students, and bidding until they are broke. These are the future Gamblers of America," she said with a wave of her hand. Diem was always like that. Taking a look at the bigger picture of everything. And to be honest, Reed had to agree with her.
"Excuse me...we are going to begin," he heard Oscar's voice over the sound system. Both Reed and Diem turned their attention to the front, which wasn't that far away from them...

"Um, welcome to the Student Auction For Charity!" Oscar said, trying to make his voice sound the least bit enthused, with no avail. "It's time to get in your seats, we are going to begin!" Oscar told everyone as he saw some people getting to their seats slowly. "Well, then, this event is in honor of National Adoption Awareness Month, so all the money you bid will be donated to Adoption Agencies around the California area. The moeny will be used for things such as, better computers, better systems, more workers, things that make it more efficent," Oscar said decided to put that in before moving into the rules. He flipped another notecard over, "Uh, ok. Rules. All bids will start at twenty dollars. You can bid in intervals of five dollars, or higher. You have to have enought money, or it will go to the next highest bidder. You can only win once, so make sure you bid on the one you want. Let the show begin..." he said as he started to clap, seeing as others had joined in with him.
"Our first student is...Scarlet Monroe..."

Just as she was completely mesmorised by thoughts of doughnuts, she heard Oscar begin to speak, she sat up striaght and got ready. She had forgotten the scedueal of who was begin actioned and in what order, so she didnt know when she was going to be called. Hopefully not first, she didnt want to be the one to open up the show. No wait. Nevermind. GOing first would be awsome. After all, the sooner she went up, the sooner she would get her doughnut.
"Our first student is...Scarlet Monroe..."
Scarlett stood up and pulled down a dress a bit, because when she sat down, it had risin a bit, and being pregnate, she didnt want to show any exposer. Something rather difficult for her, seeing as she barley had any clothes that atleast covered half of her body up. But, of course, her father had gave her some of his spear change, a few 10,000 dollars, and she had bought some new clothes...and food.
Scarlett entered from behind the curtain. Usually, she would be as outgoing as a 5 year old on drugs, but, today, being pregnate, being covered, she couldnt find the courage. Luckly, as she stepped out, she already noticed a few tickers shoot up in the air. Well, at least she knew she still had her sex appeal.
Looking down at the crowd, Scarlett grinned. She saw a few friendly faces, faces of people that she knew, faces of guys she fucked. Then she saw Reed. Her heart began to beat faster, and louder. Time stopped around her but her heart still went like a bullet. She was sure that the whole crowd had to hear her heart beat. She was becoming nervous aabout telling Reed. All these doubts started to pour into her head. Then. She was rescued again. By the doughnut.
Scarlett then began to feel fat. Damn doughnut. Whyed you have to be so bad, and so good at the same time. To make herself feel better she strolled up to Oscar and seductivly wrapped one arm around him. OF course, as a soon to be mother, she shouldnt be doing this. But, he just happened to be there. He happened to be a guy. She needed to boost her confidence you do the math. She then stretched her neck and whsipered in his ear, "You better make me the best seller" she said, then offered a small, soft, giggle.

Reed watched as Scarlet sauntered onto the stage andslung her arm around Oscar. He couldn't help but laugh at Oscar, who looked a little uncomfortable. But he saw that he nodded slowly on whatever she had said to him. "Um, let's start the bidding at twenty dollars!"
Instantly he heard someone yell behind him twenty dollars. Then a thirty-five. Some people always found it surprising that even though Scarlet was a major bitch, she always seemed to rack in the sex appeal. Aw, what the hell? She was probably the hottest girl in the auction, and he raised his hand and called out 'fourty'. Diem looked at him, "Um...why?" Reed just rolled his eyes, "She's a friend." "Ok," she said, "Wait, how much money did you bring?" "Uh, a hundred...I think. You?" "Hundred fifty," she said eyeing him, discovering his surprise. "What? I brought the money for the sheer comfort of money in my pocket," she said flicking her wrist again at him.
"Eighty!"
Reed wasn't surprised that Scarlet was getting a lot of bids. He hadn't seen her in a good while. And he wasn't about to bid on people he barely knew. Besides, he was totally done here. It was incredibly boring. Even if he did leave after this, he would offer to take Diem home, since she was here to mock. But, he never knew, she might want to stay. Her bidding would consist of bidding which people would be in Gamblers Anonymous by the age of twenty. He raised his hand at Oscar, "Ninety."
"One hundred and ten!" some one shouted behind him.
Shit, he didn't have enough...unless... "No," Diem told him before he even began to open his mouth. "What?" he asked innocently. She turned to look at him, "There is no way I'm giving you my money to bid on her," Diem said pointing up at Scarlet. "Going once..." Oscar began. "D, please. I'll make it up to you. I promise. Just give me enough bills. I'll take you to get ice cream," Reed offered her. "Ice cream? Reed, I'm fifteen, not five. I think you can get a tad more creative," she said and folded her arms across her chest.
"Going Twice..."
"Argh, I'll get you something. I'll take you to the mall, you can pick something out," Reed said quickly. Diem rolled her eyes, "Fine," she said.
"One fifty!" Reed shouted, satisfied.
Diem looked back at him, "One. Hundred. Fifty? I think I'll be getting something big." Diem said. Reed just nodded, hearing no one else shout after him. "Ok, then. going once, twice, sold. To Reed Turner," he heard Oscar say over the microphone. He was satisfied. Reed never lost in situations like these.

Scarlett laughed as the numbers went up. She was becoming damn proud of herself. For the first time in her pregnancey she felt rather...sexy. I mean, of course she had her gut tell her she looked good. But now she felt sexy. Like she was worth something. Well, of course she knew she was, but she just liked to make herself believe that this auction made her feel better about herself. She always just loved to play the victem. All her life, she was sure that she was the perfect one in her family, and sometimes that just got a little bit old, and un-amusing, so then, thats when the poor defensless Scarlett came out. The fack Scarlett.
"One fifty!"
"Save your money!" she shreiked. She wanted to go down there and slap him, "You couldve just went up one or two dollars but no, you have to be a fucking retard and say 150!" Scarlett scoleded. She was only pissed that he was spending his money because the baby was comming a long and they would need a lot of money for baby things. Then something hit her. He didnt know. "Oh...yea" she murmered. But she wasnt going to say sorry, oh no. She was pregnate. She had the right to be as bitchy as ever.
After Oscar called out that Reed had 'bought' her, Scarlett gave Oscar a quick kiss on the cheeks and hopped off the stage. Not worrying if her dress flew up a bit. She ran up to Reed and grasped him in a hug. She then began to rock back and forth. "Its been so loong" she whined. Then she relised him from the hug. And gave him a small peck on the lips, "I want a doughnut" she said bluntly. "And I need to talk to you, while eating that doughnut" she said with a giggle. She wasnt going to be a bitch to him now, and hopefully not later. But f he refused that that baby was his. He would get Scarlett- raw and ready to be bitch of the year, 2007.
Scarlett held onto Reeds arm, as if he was going to fly away into the sky and she didnt want him to. "Oh yea, I'll pay for the doughnut too, I just really want one, thats all I was able to think about up there" she said with a giggle.
"Now, shall we go, or do you want to stay and watch these damn idiots be as boring as hell?" Scarlett asked, being blunt about what she wanted to do.

"Save your money!" she shreiked. She wanted to go down there and slap him, "You couldve just went up one or two dollars but no, you have to be a fucking retard and say 150!" He heard her yell at him. He heard Diem scoff at him. Look where her money went to, was probably what she was thinking. Reed just got up and waited for her. He was going to help her down, but she hopped down on her own. Oscar started on the next student, a boy. Maybe he was doing this to shift the attention away from Reed and Scarlet.
"Nah, it's for a good cause," he started as Scarlet hugged gim. "Yeah, I haven't seen you in a long time," Reed felt kind of bad. Did he bid on Scarlet only because they were friends, or was there an underlining factor? As to say Ashley? She won't talk to him, so maybe the next best thing was her polar-opposite cousin? Perhaps, or you never know, maybe not. But Scarlet gave him a small peck on the lips and stated she wanted a doughnut. "A doughnut?" he asked. To say the least that was different. "Ah, you don't have to. I will."
He heard a certain someone clear their throat and turned to face Diem, "Reed, you just spent all your money. On her," she stated clearly. He smiled at her only for her to shake her head. "No! Come on, Reed!" "Please, Diem. Just a little more?" he asked her sweetly. She scowled at him the entire time she handed over not only the fifty dollar he needed on which he used to get Scarlet, but another twenty, for the food her and him would eat. "This better be the hugest present I have ever gotten," she told him before she gave him the biils, slapping them against his palm. "You have my word. Now, do you want me to drop you off at your house." he asked her. She shook her head, "I'll manage quite fine," she said and looked at him sternly.
He returned back to Scarlet. "I've been wanting to leave since the moment I got in here. Where do you want to go? We can get you your doughnut and you can tell me what you wanted to tell me." he said to her as he lead her up the aisle, and to the door, thought quickly giving the money to the teller near the door, as the woman put it into the clear jar.

"And that good cause is me, right?" she asked with a small giggle. "If you are referring to the adoption agency as a good cause, then damn, do I have a lot to teach you" Scarlett laughed, not a real laugh, it didnt even sound real. Completely fake, just like her boobs. Or well, thats just what people say. Her bust is real, just, because of the cup size she wears, there are many catty girls who believe they are fake. But, I mean, who wouldnt? Her dad is rich, she gets anything she wants, and her boobs are unbelievabley huge.
Scarlett chuckled. "Yes I want a doughnut. Just because I am as thin as a healthy anorexic, that doesnt mean I dont like to eat...a lot." she said, then relised she left a part of, so quickly after she had said that she added. "of doughnuts" she giggled. She was guessing that he might not understand what she had just said, but neither did she. Dammit. Why did she always have to act like such a steryotypical blonde. 'Maybe what they say about blonds is true...?' she began to ponder it in her head.
Scarlett watched as Diem and Reed began to argue about money. It amused her a bit, so she laughed. At them. Oh, that was Scarlett for you, amused by other peoples problems. "You know, your a cool kid" Scarlett laughed. She was directing her words towards Diem. Scarlett made a note to herself to give the girl $100, just because she knew Reed wouldnt pay her. So, just so she wouldnt forget, Scarlett took out her wallet, and when Reed wasnt looking, she slipped Diem a 100 dollar bill.
After doing so, Scarlett took Reeds arm and began strutting down the whole row, practically dragging him with her. She watched Reed place money into the jar, but without a care, she just passed it. It wouldnt effect her future, so why should she have to pay anything.
"Gosh, I was like dying in there" Scarlett sighed. "Now, lets go get some grub, and talk about what I have needed to tell you for the past five months"

Doughnut, doughnut, doughnuts. What was he fetish with doughnut? Was it possibly 'that time of the month'. He heard that girls craved chocolate or something like that. But Scarlet was as different as any girl could get, so possibly hers was doughnut? "Ok, I'll get you a dozen if it'll make you feel better," he said as he slung his arm around her shoulder and they braced the cold. He looked down at her, "Aren't you cold? You're wearing close to nothing," he said as he saw she was wearing a close to nothing black dress. He paused for a second in the parking lot, to take off his leather jacket revealing one of his many signature white t-shirts. "Here," he said and draped it over her shoulders.
"Five months? It took you that long to find me?" he said with a laugh as they reached his truck. As the old-fashioned gentleman he was he lead her over to the passanger's side and opened it up for her. He never locked his truck up, so that was useless. What would anyone want to steal? The steering wheel since he would guess that was the most exspensive thing he had in the interior. He shut the door and hurried over to the driver's side and got in. "Ok, we are ready to go."
He quickly racked his brain to decide what place would sell doughnuts. "Um, Starbucks ok? I highly doubt that anyone will be there tonight. This will be the lamest date of your life," he said with a laugh. He was taking her to Starbucks. Very creative for someone that just bought her for one-hundred fifty dollars.
*Twenty Minutes Later* "So, what is this thing you want to talk to me about?" he asked her as they sat down on the cream-colored sofa. Reed had his coffee and Scarlet had her doughnuts. Reed was serious when he said he would buy her a dozen. The cashier gave the pair a werid look, but picked out all the creative-looking doughnuts for her. He leaned back in the sofa and took a drink from his drink.

So, Reed had the highest bid on Scarlet, which surprised him only a little. "Well, ladies and gentlemen. Looks like one-fifty is the price to beat," he said into the microphone as he watched Reed and Scarlet leave the building, and god, did he wish he could leave too. One down...a million more to go. Then it was cleaning up time. Wonderful.
"Our next student is...Kelsey Lewington is our next student. Remember folks, all this money will go to some children, so don't be afraid to bid," he said. Someone had told him that he should remind people about the cause. Not like they would forget. "Should we start the bidding at twenty dollars?"

Luke hadn't really been paying too much attention to what was going on in the auction until he heard Kelsey's name called and saw her walk up on stage. He knew that pregnant women had some special glow or something, but damn, Kelsey looked amazing. A smooth smile came across his face as she saw her standing there, attempting to push away the nervousness that had overcame him in that last few minutes. Let's start the bidding at 20 dollars Oscar had said. That's it? She was worth much more to him than that right then. "50 dollars" the boy stood, his voice rang throughout the auditorium. He had figured that a few people would bid against him, but not seriously. Not long after he bid, a few more people bid raising it up to $70. Rolling his eyes he yelled, "95 dollars" hoping that that would be the end of it, nope. "Are you kidding me right now?" he turned to see who was bidding against him. It had been a Junior, a kid that he had played soccer with not too long ago, one who probably thought that by buying Kelsey at the auction would result in getting some action. Shaking his head in disapproval and putting on a very serious face, he frowned at the kid and motioned for him to sit back down. No more bids from that kid . Unfortunately, some of the other guys didn't get the message that he relayed to the other kid, and kept on bidding. His nerves were starting to get the best of him, and Luke definitely was not in the mood for fucking around with other people bidding. "200 fucking dollars" he yelled out crossing his arms, and that was the end of it. Sure, he felt weird swearing in a school environment, and he felt extremely weird having to buy a girl just to get her to talk to him, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Raising an eyebrow with a small smirk on his face, he looked around as if he had conquered every single guy in the room, and had won the war. Now came the hard part. Where were they going to go on their little date? He actually hadn't thought that far. He knew he was going to buy her, and he knew basically what he was going to say, but he hadn't even realized that they needed a place to go.

Our next student is...Kelsey Lewington. The words rang in her ears for a second before she realised that that was her cue. She stood up, straightened out her dress and gracefully walked across the stage. Her eyes scanned the audience, and she hoped to god someone good bid on her. There was no way she wanted to spend the night entertaining some freshman nerd. That’s why she was glad, and slightly shocked when Luke jumped up and yelled “50 dollars”. His bid was high, especially after Oscar had started it at $20. She shrugged it off however and smiled as the amount made it’s way up to $70. This was getting exciting, and Kelsey forgot all about how she might have to spend the night with some stranger and felt her pride go as a couple boys competed for her company.
95 dollars. Her head turned back in Luke’s direction as he bid once again. He wanted her, that was obvious. Why else would he keep bidding? But Kelsey didn’t necessarily want him. It was almost like she was holding the whole pregnancy scare against him. While she knew it was as much her fault as it was his, the selfish, self-centred girl in her didn’t want to take the blame at all. It wasn’t fair, but life never is. Plus, she wasn’t going to sleep with him, which was the only reason Kelsey could think off that he kept bidding on her, so she was glad when someone else upped the bid. Even if it was some junior kid Kelsey had never spoken to before, she could fake sick have way through the date and leave early. Yes, that’s what she would do.
200 fucking dollars. What the fuck. 200 dollars may not be much, but the bid sure shut up all the rest of those who had been bidding for Kelsey’s attention. She didn’t want to spend the next couple hours with him, avoiding what she felt might be awkward conversation. Of course, it would only be awkward for her, as he had no idea about her previous situation. Plus, could she trust herself to keep her mouth shut for the whole time? Alcohol would be definitely out of the question, there was no way she’d risk spilling the beans while she was drunk. She might have a hard time keeping it in while she’s sober.
No one else bid after Luke, and Kelsey could feel her cheeks warming and her breath becoming tight. She had spent the last week avoiding the boy and here she was, about to be face to face to him since that day in tower. Well, she had nothing to worry about right? She wasn’t pregnant, and hadn’t told anyone but Amanda, who would never have told anyone else, Kelsey knew she wouldn’t it the same secret was revealed to her. She smiled at Oscar before exiting off the stage and making her way towards Luke, a shy smirk on her face. Kelsey could and would keep it cool, it was only a night and he was none to wiser. She just needed to relax.
“Hey babe,” she said coolly coming up to him and kissing him lightly on the cheek. She had forgotten how gorgeous he was. Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad, and memories came flooding in from their last meeting. But, no matter how much she may want it, she was going to stick to her word. No sex. Especially with Luke. Even if she had learned her lesson about no protection, things go wrong all the time and now that she had a taste of the feelings of what an accident might create, there was no way she wanted to happen again. So, a vow of celibacy seemed appropriate, and even if Kelsey wasn’t usually loyal to her promises, especially those to herself, she was going to try.
“So,” she continued, stepping back slightly and placing her hands on her hips. “What do you got planned for me?” It better be good she thought, raising an eyebrow up at him.
