"Dark curly hair, big chesnut eyes, wide awake, You must must be my Laura." Faden said as the girl walked up to him and immediatly into a hug. Her name was Laura Stillings. She had on her peace jacket over her red and rather lacy tank top(('Jacket' is a link to click)).
"Hmm funny, but classically fashionable hat, jeans that fit and are taken care of, sandy hair, cheesy grin....Must be my Faden...in Vegas." She said squirming out of the hug as the walked into the Adventure Dome Theme park. "So all the Rollar coasters."
"At least twice, duh, you did have your caffine right?" Eric asked.
Laura rolled her eyes, "One cup, black coffee, check." She said. Laura and Eric had been friends since he moved in with the Hamins, a couple in the Shaks that take in foster kids. He was the weird kid, dressed funny, dreamed funny, and was a truly loving human being even though he did get ahead of himself. He tended to 'fall in love' quite a bit. She and him seemed meant though, as friends. They both had quirks, both hated the stupid things teens worried about. They both had dreams, of course Laura's didn't reallly involve knights and damsels and Faden's did but still. They both loved the Theatre, although Laura was a techie. She was Stage Manager to practically every show and master Electrician, oh and President of Production Design at school. She could be rather intimidating while working though. Surprising a short girl could scare idiot freshman into putting p lights so easily.Faden grabbing her hand as he spotted the first ride to a roller coaster. He pulled her over, handing the man their tickets.

He liked to think. Better yet, he liked to think while on terrifyingly scary amusement park rides. Roller Coasters being on the top of the list. It was strange, having all of that ground coming up at you and still being able to stare directly into space, hardly feeling your stomach jumping, briefly, up into your throat and out your mouth. But, then again, Blake Lucas was not your average character. He wasn’t the weird, creative artsy type. Or the rebellious trouble-maker. He did all of his strangest habits like everyone else around him was doing them; quite naturally.
“Forget it, Shane. I’m not finished thinking yet,” he had been on that particular roller coaster so many times the past few days that he had long gotten to know the name of the park’s employee who ran it. And, of course, this Shane character had long gotten used to the English magician handing him his ticket, jumping into the front car of the roller coaster’s train and sitting there for a few runs, simply staring out into space.
Shifting his position in his front car, Blake crossed his denim-clad legs at the ankle, and placed his arms across one-another on his stomach. A black and grey track jacket pulled quickly over a long-sleeve black shirt with the Mindfreak “A” splattered on the front in a dark silver, he still shivered in the still air. Pushing some of his dark, spiked hair up again, he was actually surprised that it didn’t look like a Mohawk yet. Having hastily shoved gel into his tousled hair that morning, it stubbornly stood straight up from his head about three inches in more of a fauxhawk than usual. Wow. He needed a haircut. And the ride to start so he could think more.

Faden and Laura had decided to sit one after the other in the cars of the roller coaster. They wanted to see if they could still talk to eachother while going through it. It was Laura's turned to sit in the front seat with Eric right behind her. She watched as the little gate allowed them to get into their seat. Eric was sitting next to a woman around 45 who was apparently very talkitive. As soon as Faden sat down, she began telling him about the gorup of friends she had come with. Laura laughed, "Don't worry Faden, " She said as she walked towards her seat in the car, "I'm sure she will get better when the ride starts."
Faden nodded as the woman talked. He didn't mind too much. Laura stepped down into the empty seat of the front car before she turned into her seat and looked at the boy she was sitting next to. He looked liked someone who went to Valkyrie. She smirked as she sat down and she pulled her little bar down, glancing behind her at Eric as the guys began to check that the bars were secure.
"Valkyrie?" She asked the boy sitting next to her. She was pretty sure she had seen him around before. The workers always started with the front so she moved her hands up as the guy tugged up on it slightly. She always felt weird since those hands came awfully close to toughing her.

Hearing someone’s voice from beside him, Blake turned his head, which had been resting on his open palm to look at her. Raising his left eyebrow, the barbell pierced through the skin at the end of it glistening in the lightning, he looked at her blankly for a moment or two before deciding to reply to her innocent question. “Laura Stillings and Eric Faden.” Saying their names from memory, the English male let his thick accent soften his words into more of a statement than a declaration. “Yes, Valkyrie.” His voice soft, almost incoherent, Blake shifted his body slightly, pressing it against the wall of the car on his left.
Allowing his bi-colored irises to examine the girl beside him briefly before looking to the male behind her, he shrugged to himself before straightening again. Lifting his left arm and bending it at the elbow, resting it on the metal on the cart, he pressed his chin against his open palm again, looking ahead of him. Pulling the silvery sunglasses down from his spiked head and positioning them behind his ears, letting the dark lenses stare from the back of his head, Blake glanced at Laura again before resuming his thinking position.

Laura nodded and raised an eyebrow when he said her and Faden's name. Alright a lot people knew of Faden since he was the wieid kid in the school, the one all the people warn the new kids about. But hardly any knew his name, and not many knew Laura's. She tended to keep a low profile, but he brother was well known, Chase was the Swim Team Captain. She decided not to think about. Faden leaned forward to speak to Laura, "Did he know are names?" He asked.
"Yep, doesn't it make you feel sort of guilty we don't know his?" Laura asked with a smile. Faden her knew he could hear them and did nothing to conceal their conversation.
"He's got a British accent though." Faden said with a shrugg.
"I know, I heard, he can't be that boring now can he?"
"I don't know, I've heard of some boring British people." Faden said, "But none who go to our conservative school of clones."

It was true, Blake had long heard of Faden, and had even seen him a few times around campus. But nothing all that major. However, it had been a bit more of a challenge to recognize Laura by face. He had memorized much of the student directory when he first transferred to Valkyrie, just so he would know names, and not be left dumb-founded half the time.
Smirking slightly as he boredly eavesdropped on their loud conversation, he let his bi-colored irises roll to the back of his head before turning to face them again. “I know everyone’s name.” Still not willing to give out his own name, he shrugged again. Boring British people? Besides the fact that being called British annoyed him, he had an English accent. Jeeze. Scottish people are British too. As are Irish and Welsh people. But, whatever. Well, no one had really called him boring before. At least, not in America.
“Depends what you define as ‘boring.’” Having turned to his head to look straight head again, chin resting on his palm, Blake simply spoke so they could hear him. Conservative school of clones….Valkyrie summed up in four words. Love it.

"Everybody's name?" Laura said in mock shock((ha rhymes). "Did you here that Faden?" She asked her friend as she turned a bit in her seat. Now, yes Faden and Laura were messing with him a bit, not in an offensive way, at least they weren't trying to be offensive. They always did this when they attempted to make conversation and the person didn't seem responsive. They only did this when the other was there too though. Faden was too submissive when alone and Laura well she tended to get bitchy.
"Wow, like a Psychic." He said leaning forward a bit. The guy over the PA system started warning everyone, giving safety measures. "What's the name of the woman sitting next to me?" Faden asked quickly.
"And he'll know if you're guessing convincingly." Laura said warning him. The woman next to Faden had seemed to give him her entire history.
"I will?"
"Well she was chatting you up..."
"Doesn't mean I was listening." Faden said sitting back in his seat, "But the ride will be starting soon, we might want to...."
Laura nodded and twisted back into her seat, sitting forward, "Remember to put your arms up Faden!" She yelled with out turning.

Letting his bi-colored irises roll to the back of his head, Blake still didn’t turn to look at Laura or Faden. “Really, mockery is a nasty habit to get into.” Okay…this was an interesting pair. Laura and Faden were. Overly confident? No. He got an uneasy air from the two of them, though. Something that he really didn’t like to get. “Everyone’s name at Valkyrie.” Not even bothering to lash back with sarcasm, the English male boredly half-listened to their muffled conversation and to the instructions being given over the PA.
Besides the fact that he had ridden this particular roller coaster about ten times, he knew them off by heart. Curling his long, stretched out back to hit the overly stuffed cushion covering the frame for the seats, he simply uncrossed his ankles and placed his hands into the pockets of his track jacket. This ride wasn’t for thrill, it was for thinking.
“There’s no point in guessing at all then, Sir Lie Detector.” A weak attempt at sarcasm, very weak for Blake. Rolling his own eyes at his irrational comment, he simply let his eyelids cover his eyes slightly, and turned his head up towards the sky.
