Julie had just arrived in Las Vegas, her hopes and smiles not ever fading. She brushed her red hair to the side, hoping that she didn't arrive too late for the fun of the city. She began to walk, her shoes hitting the asphalt hard, and she couldn't help but smirking. She was trying to learn to be more patient, but that wouldn't ever be possible. She looked at the ground, her eyes searching all over it, she could wait till she got back and got to audition for the part of Betty Rizzo. She wasn't sure if she'd get the part, but she was eager to try, this seemed to be the first thing she'd been eager about for a while. She then made her way through the streets of Las Vegas, trying to find the reason why she was there, and then she realized, she was here to have fun. Fun. Something she hadn't had for such a long time, these were the times you wanted your siblings to mess with your hair and help you redecorate yourself.
She sighed, if she only had Nash to hug then maybe she'd be happy. Her little twelve year old brother, the hair stylist's assistant, and the hair stylist was her other brother, Chance. It was so strange that she'd ever miss them, but she did. Well, Chance was more recent, since at Valkyrie he lived very close by and called her so many times that she thought of getting a different cell phone number. Then she decided against it for it would be too much of a hassle and who wants that when they are trying to escape the trouble? She knew that she'd just have to accept the fact her brother was continuously calling.
She smiled as she began to walk, it was nice to have something to do instead of waiting for her life to give her a ring and tell her that it was coming back home. She knew that if she was trying to escape she'd be running, but now she was free. She was an eagle, she was a dove in the sky. She was beautiful, she was free, with her blue jeans and her red tank top she decided she was going to make a new start. Everyone else had left for Vegas a while ago, so it would seem like she wasn't even from Valkyrie, but then she'd surprise the world. She knew the world would suspect this girl to ever be from Valkyrie, but the thing was, in Vegas no one needed to know. In Vegas she wasn't Julie, she was Jules, or so she'd try to go by, if the lies would allow.

Wearing shoes instead of slippers or sandels were much easier for a girl to walk through the streets of Vegas. She wore her favorite green cap, covering her hair, but two braids were showing. The girl wore capris, and a white shirt. Her thin red jacket covered most of it though, only a little part of it showing. Who was this girl? Her name was Natalie Malinda. A blonde. Female. And a Sophmore in Vegas.
What was a sophmore doing in Vegas? Enjoying her life, of course. Plus, Natalie hadn't went to Vegas since when? When she was very young and didn't remember anything. Plus, this might be her chance to find out things happening to her older sister. Lately, Nikki has been having all sorts of problems with her friends, and love life. Natalie wasn't going to let it happen in Vegas, though she didn't know that Nikki already did have a problem. So much for coming to Vegas.
Of course, Natalie didn't know and was just wandering the streets. She was bored, again, something that usually happen in the girl's life. She didn't want to leave Vegas, but knew that it was going to happen eventually. 'Forget that' Natalie told herself, 'I have to enjoy this!' She wasn't thinking abotu her love life at all, since she kind of forgot about him, her crush, since she hadn't talk to him lately. Natalie thought he said he would come, but probably heard wrong, since he was nowhere to be seen.
Natalie turned to her side to see another girl walking. She seemed familiar, but Natalie didn't know if she knew her. "Excuse me," Natalie said, hoping not to interrupt her thoughts,"Do you go to Valkyrie?"

Julie looked around herself, trying to figure out her situation. Nothing, Vegas was fantastic, and she was going to have the time of her life! Seriously. If she could she'd even try to scream it to the world how she felt about the situation. She would scream, 'I'm in Vegas!' Then people would stare and give her a, 'Oh my goodness! So are we,' sarcastic look. She then continued to move, her feet quick and her eyes were showing excitement, and her mouth was curved into a smile. She looked at the ground finally, excitement draining from her body, adrenaline just disappearing. She made her way through the crowds of people in Vegas, she would do anything for something to drink, but she just decided maybe that wouldn't be a good idea. You know, to be a drunk in Vegas, that wasn't good for she had most of her affairs when she got drunk.
She heard someone behind her, and she turned around sharply. "Yes, I do." So much for pretending you weren't from there. Now her plan was foiled, but who said she couldn't be Jules? She could be a new girl, a special one. A girl not afraid to stand out, to be a shining star. A true person, and she knew that if she bumped into any of her old friends, it wouldn't matter. She would have her friends and she could just say her name was Julie but go by Jules. She knew that might sound stupid, but she liked the idea. Hell, if she ran into friends, better for her! She could prove to her friends who she was and let them deal with it. She didn't want to be that sassy, up to no good red head any more, she wanted to be that girl that people looked at and smirked because they could sense the girl was going to add some spice to the Las Vegas experience. Not a bad wish, right?

So, she did go to Valkyrie Academy. Then why didn't Natalie see her. Was it because she was a new student? Maybe she was just overlooked on the bus. Or did Natalie not know this girl because she was jsut in another grade? Any of the choices could be possible, and well, Natalie didn't usually guess. She would just ask. It would just be a casual, normal, and unusual conversation. Right?
"How long have you been at Valkyrie?" Natalie asked her. Then something popped into her mind. "Oh, and I'm Natalie. You can call me Nat for short." She had to introduce herself. Her sister had so many friends...Even though they were starting to become enemies. Anyways, Natalie learned all her 'tactics' from her sister. Introduce. Be friendly. And who knows what could happen from there?
