ROCKER HAIR, Maddox definitely has a look that sometimes blends in the crowd, (good for his career), or makes you double take (good for the sex life). He's a pretty tall guy, standing about 6'4" with a good build. When he was in middle school, he was one of the few kids whom had developed, so back then, people called him the Mad Hulk. Of course, now sometimes he won't exactly compare to any seven foot guys, but certainly still got strength visible. Moving on, the top of Maddox's head is dark, with somewhat of a messy look. A look that simply says, 'i don't give a fuck'. He's certainly not the type of guy to wake up bright and early to style it, so you can scratch that off that list. Luckily for Maddox, he was simply born with it. It's kind of a flimsy do, and when it grows, it grows into something of a mess. He's not sure what style of hair he has, his family isn't exactly into the glitz and glamour of looks. However, he pretends. Sometimes it's a curly cue, and sometimes it's simply buzzed off and looking bad ass. Okay, come on, give the guy some credit. He doesn't even try.

SLICK SMILE, The face of Maddox Rhodes, well, to be honest, it's a unique one. Some say you have manly eyebrows if they're never pampered, and others say you have disgusted eyebrows if they're never pampered. Maddox doesn't find anytime to do anything with his eyebrows, so they have something of a bushy thickness that exults power in some way, shape, or form. Of course, he's far from having a uni brow, and when he gets even a bit close to it? Out comes the razor. His eyes are a normal brown, and you won't get much out of them. He even tells people that many eyes have a story, but for his lengthy one, well, they have duct tape around their pupils. He doesn't like to let people in without too much manipulation. His nose is very genetic, a slightly bigger style that bridges in a triangle form all the way down. His smile, well, it's a slick son of a bitch, with dimples on each side and all. His teeth, well, they're not perfect. He never bothered with braces or anything of the sort, so there's a tiny gap in between his front two, but other than that, they seem to sparkle a bit. When they're not covered in food, his favorite.

AVERAGE JOE, Some may think that being a criminal, well, you'd have a clean cut body from all the exercise and stunts. Well, in Maddox's case, that's simply not true. He has something of an average joe body, where he's not lanky like the comic nerds, nor is he buff and six packed like the water polo players. In fact, he's more of simply in the middle. Some flab, some muscle, some flab, some muscle. His diet consists of bad foods, coffee, and cigarettes. However, he's not a fan of sitting in front of the television, so it evens itself out. Yet, that's not exactly healthy, is it? He dresses both ways. Most of the time, simply normal. But, when he's on a mission, or trying to fool people into thinking he's another rich kid, he has some stolen outfits. You see, unlike his sister, he's not that big into fashion or what nots. Supposedly, that's simply a good thing, for if he was, he'd be labeled as metro. Wonderful world, eh?

Personality:

TROUBLE, Baby, Maddox is simply bad news. He has been because of one, his family. Two, because of the way he was brought up. And three, because that is who he is. He thrives on causing trouble, making a scene, and getting away with it because people underestimate the power of a college guy. Maddox is the one that in school would set the fire alarm off just for kicks - a prankster at heart? Maybe, but it goes into kind of a darker setting. He is never considered as a good guy; but when women come to play? He treats then like queens. Sure, there's exceptions of the stupid, very annoying ones that seem like such cliches to him. But, catch Maddox with a unique, trouble girl? He's probably going to fall head over heels, and that says something. He's the guy your mother probably told you a story saying, 'he took me on his motorcycle, he treated me like the queen, but i needed to stay with your father'. Maddox is never the spotlight of romance, but he's just waiting.

COFFEE SHOP, You really wouldn't expect a coffee shop indie guy to be stealing your bike, would you? Expect Maddox too, fool! Like the lyrics go, Maddox will sneakily; 'steal yo honey like i stole yo bike'. But back onto business, Maddox does love the coffee scene. Not only does he love caffeine, but he loves the jazz clubs, poetry (mainly the dark Poe stuff) or simply watching people. He examines people and tries to figure them out and their moves. What is their life like? Are they in trouble? Do they want to stay together? How much money do they have? Yes, okay, his criminal obsessions trinkle into the scene now and again, finding suspects whom stupidly leave their wallets and such un supervised. Especially the rich kids at night whom are too high to even realize it. But it's the way he makes pay for his family, considering his so called parents are completely worthless and despite that he lives in the Shaks, simply living in California is deathly costly.

CONFUSED, And tracking back from the girl mentions in the two above paragraphs, Maddox barely knows himself, but pretends he does. How does he pull this stunt off? He tries to be a good guy, try and change himself somehow. Because when the day is done, a human can only feel human when they suffer guilt. Guilt for stealing, guilt for letting them down, guilt for hurting them and more. Maddox, now and then, feels more guilt than ever for a lot of stuff he endures. He is pretty similar to his parents, but maybe with more of a conscience and less lallygagging on drugs. However, they fell unfortunately into the traps of bad influences, much like himself. The big difference is in high school, Maddox never applied himself, and the only reason he got into Valkyrie University was simply this; he had the money. Where he got the money was a mystery to many of the Professors, and it had caused a big controversy at first.. hell.. you'll learn more about this later. Maddox is a confusing guy with too much on his mind.

LIAR, Finally, well, he's one of those guys that isn't very big on honesty being the best policy. To Maddox, he has lied about almost everything in his life, and it has treated him for all the better. Whenever he was honest, well, it almost landed him in jail. Truth be told, Maddox Rhodes is one lucky son of a gun. If you were to find the exact opposite of Adeline Costello, for example, Maddox Rhodes would be the one. Things simply fall into his lap; women, college, money, no jail time, etc. He works for some things, sure, but he's more intent on manipulating the public with his slick smile and a cigarette hanging loosely from his lips. He tends to be a bit of a witty guy, and rarely gets intimidated. Well, that's not entirely true. The main time that you would find Maddox intimidated is by someone who called him out on his things. That knew him so well that it made him speechless. Anyone that simply amazes them in their own skills or beauty can make him either 'amoured' or intimidated. How indie of you, Maddox.

History:

PARENTS, Annabella and John, a golden couple with golden dreams and golden ambitions. Seriously, if you were to pinpoint which two lovebirds would burst into golden statues at any time in their life, it would be those two. Annabella and John truly had it all while living in the Upper East Side of New York. Annabella came from a prestigious all girls school, with cute uniforms and evening charities thrown by the 'WASP' mothers. John came from a private all boys school, from a somewhat less prestigious background. Together, it was like lighting and sand, crystallizing to beautiful glass. That was, till John's brother simply 'went off the deep end', or so they called it. And when Annabella and John attended Julliard (her for her dancing, him for his acting) they fell into pressure. Incredible amounts, to be precise. Eventually, they hung around John's estranged brother more and more, until finally, they were hooked into a horrible scene. Their new habits, friends, and trends led the golden Annabella and John to be kicked out of Julliard, for good. And disowned by their 'ever so loving wealthy' parents.

BIRTH, John's father lived in Valkyrie, California. So, when Annabella found out that her eggo was preggo, he decided to flee them from New York. Yet, little did they know that the habits they obtained from New York would come back to haunt them, and become their own drugs. While Annabella was pregnant, John tried to find a living with no money, and especially to pay for not only rent, but for their new needs. So, he started to make crimes, having his brother come along for the ride. Uncle Rhodes. Together, while Annabella relaxed on the couch, trying not to burn the fetus with much needed nostalgic scotch... they were pickpocketing. Sneaking into homes and taking jewelry. It was on one occasion when they were about to go into a arcade heist when Annabella called. She was in labor. They had money, but now there was a kid on the way. In November, Maddox was born.

YOUTH, Growing up in the Rhodes house was a tough job, and for Maddox, he felt the pressure growing increasingly fast. He didn't have a normal childhood, or far from a good one. He was born as an angel, and he soon turned to a sinner as he received a fistful of punishment. Did his mother ever feel guilty for those blows? For the things she inhaled? For the career she could have had? No. Hell, during this time, the boy was mainly trying to survive on their little money that his parents wasted on the things a little child had no idea what it was. Then, his little sister Athena was born. Just his luck, right? And at this time, well, it was definitely a rough patch. His mother left his father, which now left his father in somewhat of a topsy turvy. Either take care of the kids, throw them out, or put them to use. He put them to use - making them a scenery for crimes. He was somewhat of an old bachelor at this time, for him and Uncle Rhodes would do crazy crazy things. Not always the best, especially when it came to the rough parts of the childhood.

TEENAGE, It wasn't until Maddox was reaching his preteen years when he managed to realize what his father and Uncle had done to his sister and him. Scarred them. Videotaped them. Isolated them. Drove them to insanities wits. Maddox became extremely rebellious and managed to start smoking in the sixth grade. You see, his days as a teenager, throughout the end of high school, consisted of a 'schedule'. Smoke, an hour of school, crime, smoke, crime, poetry, crime, sleep. He made some friends, of course. The guys was manipulative, charming, and cunning as fuck. Besides, he was still trying to find out who he really was, huddled in the mass of extreme pain and childhood ridicule. Maddox was simply a mysterious guy for the most part, always contemplating. You see, he was simply the guy sitting under the tree, writing poems by day, stealing your honey and bike by night. Oh yes, he was is a bad ass, for sure.

YOUNG ADULT, Getting into college was something Maddox never planned on doing, for he hated getting an education of any kind. But for his prone genius sister Athena? Not going to college simply wasn't an option. He hated her for that. But how to get the money was a challenge he would face on his own. And that's when he compiled a plot with his cousin Yvette. He barely knew her, for the Rhodes weren't exactly the tight knit family reunion type. Especially with how fucked up everything was - either you were a poor and criminal Rhodes, or the prestigious bad reputation Rhodes in New York. Yvette was simply hanging on in the prestigious part, but needed her pay into, you guessed the irony! Julliard. And that's when Maddox saw the sign in Hollywood. An audition. His father was studying acting, it had to be in the genes. Many drinks, plane rides, confused thoughts, and needed money - he did an incest porn. Something that scarred him for life and made the rest of the family.. extremely awkward to him. Now a day, he tries to erase his past.. but he knows it will never be close to normal. Ever.
