The song by Ciara '1, 2 Step' was playing in the background, and Kimberley looked at herself in the mirror. Her dance partner was late. And technically Kimberley could get this person into a lot of trouble if he didn't show. Her phone rang, and she raced to her bag to grab it. The number on the front flashed 'Mark, 0403910037'. A sigh came from her lips and she answered it, sitting down as she did so. "Mark, where the bloody hell are you?" she asked roughly into the reciever. The person on the other end laughed. "Sorry cuz. I'm busy. One of my students needed help...and I can't make it."
Kimberley got angry and hung up just then. Face flushed red with anger, she stood up and slowly walked to one of the mirrors. Her out-fit was rather simple. Short, black shorts were covering the top half over her tanned thighs, with a black, studded belt looped though the loops. A light pink, sleeveless jacket was thrown over the top of a white tee-shirt. Comfortable enough for dancing in.
Stretching out slowly, her eyes scanned the room, looking at herself from every angle. Her straight blonde hair swished side to side in the ponytail it was in. Again she sighed and rolled her wrists around, before taking a tiny hop-like jump and launching herself into a cartwheel. Standing up at the end, she smiled. She still had the touch of her young aged gymnastics. [/sup]

Dancing wasn't exactly Anna's forte. She had done some dancing when she was younger, until she was about thirteen. Ballet and Jazz. Then she had stopped, to fully focus on her musical talent.
She did regret quitting now. She had picked it up lately, and she was tempted to practice. She knew the school had a dance gym. She had decided to just go down, have a look around, maybe try and remember some old steps. She was even considering signing up for classes.
Her dark hair was pulled up in a loose, messy bun. She wore black tracksuit pants, having worked out they were flexible enough for this, and a bright blue, three quarter length shirt.
Anna was surprised to hear music from the Gym. It sounded a bit like Ciara, but she couldn't remember the name of the song. She tried not to be nosy, but it was part of her personality. She was naturally "curious".
Anna poked her head in, looking cautiously at the girl inside, as she did a cartwheel across the floor.

Kimberley was about to lean back into a bridge, one of her warm-up moves, when she spotted Anna. Tilting her head on the side, a smile crept over her face, she she leant back into a bridge anyway. Going back-wards into a hand-stand and then flipping over to stand on her feet, Kim spread her arms out in a flashy 'ta-dah' way, and turned to face Anna. Her breath barely faster than normal, she took a few, long strides over to Anna and gave a curtsy like thing. "Bonjour," she grinned. "My name is Kimberley. And yours?" she asked, motioning for Anna to follow her as she moved back into the middle of the gym. [/sup]

Anna blinked and did an awkward little curtsy movement back. "Uh...ciao!" Said cheerfully, using one of the only Italian words she knew. "I'm Anna," she replied, following the other girl into the room.
She looked around. It was very nice. She hadn't been in a room like this for a long time. She surveyed her reflection in the mirror, spinning around and giggling. She was a bad giggler, an annoying habit.
"You dance then? Well, obviously..." she corrected herself mid-sentence. "You wouldn't be here otherwise I guess."

Kimberley giggled also, and slowly made her way over to her bag of tricks, taking a sip of her water. A nod was given in Anna's direction.
"Yeah, I dance. It's one of the subjects I'm here for. Photography, Theatre and Dance are my main subjects, as well as French." A smile crept over her face and she glanced at Anna and herself in the reflection. "Hmm, we need to dance," she said with a laugh.
She then glanced at Anna. "Do you dance?" she asked.

Anna dropped the jumper draped over her arm on the floor by the door. "Really? Lucky you, you got three talents. I'm here for music. I play the paino, and that's about it. That also explains the bonjour, I guess."
She shook her head. "I used to dance, when I was younger, but I stopped, basically when I came here, and so I could fully focus on piano." For someone who despised most sports, she was quite flexible, though a bit unfit. She walked, but that was it.
"I miss dance, I might take it up again. What song you got playing?" She asked.

"Oh, I love dancing. It's really quite easy," Kimberley said excitedly, and grabbed Anna's hand. Pulling her slowly over to the middle of the room, she gave her friend a little twirl, and then held both Anna's hands in hers.
"I do three different kinds of dancing. Ball-room/random dancing is my favourite," she said with a smile, and then twirled around on Anna's finger. "Would you like to learn the tango?" she asked. [/sup]
