Hoops Here and There //Open//

Nikki was where you could always find her. The basketball courts. You can usually find her there, practicing her skills. She usually practices by herself, but friends join every now and then. Nikki has been playing basketball ever since she was 6.

Today, she was wearing a T-Shirt that said "Hoops". Perfect for what she was donig now. Her hair was staright down. She had jeans on line usually. Not anything different about the way she dressed.

Nikki threw her basketball from the free shot line. In it went. Not that had after she has been practicing so much. Nikki went to the three pointer line. She was about to try to make it in.

Josh walked up to the new redesigned basketball courts. Ah, basketball, one of the many sports he played. He figured he would go check it out, maybe practice a little. Anyways, he had nothing else to do.

He wore black basketball shorts. On top he had a gray shirt with the school falcon on it. This was his normal outfit for basketball or any other sport practice. Except football, of course.

He walked on the the court and saw Nikki there. He ran up to where she was trying to make a three pointer. He grabbed the ball out of her hand and made a lay-up.

"Hey," he said to her, passing the ball to her,"beat that."

"Hey!" Nikki said to Josh. She didn't even seem him coming up to her. Kind of like a sneak attack with no ninjas or anything.

"Just watch," Nikki said," She caught the ball. Nikki turned around so that her back was facing the basket. Then she shot it backwards into the net. Of course, this wasn't on the three pointer line. She never tried that before. Nikki made it in from the free shot line.

"I never saw you play basketball," Nikki said to Josh, getting the ball. She always saw him playing football and that was all. It would make sense, because these were only the first few days of school.
