Ashley took a dive into the pool.The water quickly sucked her in. It surrounded her body and cooled her off greatly. She felt re-energized by the cool water whipping away all of her thoughts. It was just her and the water alone and she loved it.
Ashley came up for a breath of air and began to float on her back. She started to hum the song "Younder Come Day" a song that she learned from elementry school. Some of the best years of her life. The hums echoed through the room making it sound like a group of people.
She started to sing

She finished the song ans went under the water. She let out a relieved "Ahhh"

Kimberley was not one to usually hang out around the pool. But she did anyway. A bright orange bikini top was tied over her chest and loosely placed over the top of her bikini bottoms was a pair of jean short shorts.
Towel hung over one arm, she glanced down at the girl already in the pool, and noticed it as Ashley.
"Hey Ash," she called out, just before she went underwater. Slipping off her flip-flops and her jean shorts, she chucked her stuff onto a near-by chair and made her way slowly around to the deeper end. After a few moments, she readied herself and took a half-dive into the pool.
Coming up several feet away from where she was to start with, she breathed in deeply and grinned, looking around for Ashley. |

Ashley saw Kim looking for her. She splashed her, "Over here" she said. "So, why are you here?" she asked out of curiosity
She straightened the strings that kept her white bikini top on her. And smiled at Kim. Everything was silent, all you could here was the small ripples in water, whipering secrets to eachother. She loved the sound it was so... calming.

Kim thought for a moment, after she gave Ashley a playful frown for splashing her. Why was she here? To relax and get thoughts out of her mind.
A smile planted on her face, she laid back onto her back, floating on the top of the water. "Well, a few reasons. One, to stop worrying about things. Two, just to relax and three...I need to do something other than dance all day." She laughed gently. [/sup] |

"Ah. I see" she said then went underwater. She stayed under for a while then came back up "I am here for the same reasons, except for the dance part" Ashley laughed, "I am to busy with Track, and Tennis to do dance, but I would join if sports didnt take up so much time..." Ashley sighed.
Quickly she did a back flip in the water, it was a childish thing, but every one has an inner child. She smiled, it felt good to be a kid again...

Kim gave a sigh and stood up, watching her friend to a back flip. She then gave a laugh and jumped forward into the water, doing a handstand. Coming back up, Kim took a deep breath and glanced at Ashley.
"I'm scared about Spencer," she said after a moment, and swam over to the side of the pool, pulling herself out to sit on the edge.
Feet dangling in the water, she gave little kicking motions and brushed a loose piece of fringe from her eyes. "I'm scared not only because he might get caught, but that he might hurt me...or worse, he might," she whispered, to scared to say the last bit..."Die," she finally managed. [/sup] |

Ashley swam over to Kimberly and then pulled herself up next to her, "Dont be afriad" she whispered, "You just need to talk to him about it, and try with your hardest to get him to stop taking them..." she said looking into the water.
"And dont be afriad that he will hurt you, he loves you way to much to do such a thing, the only person he could hurt is himself" Ashley said sypathetically, she felt bad for Kimberley, and Spencer... If only he knew how much trouble he was causing by taking in drugs!

Kimberley smiled at her gently. She really apreciated that Ashley really cared. It made her feel all...warm and fuzzy inside. That feeling you get when you think about just how great your friends are.
Giving Ash a playful hug, she laughed. "Thanks Ash. For everything ; Telling me, comforting me and guiding me. You are the best friend a girl could have."
But then Kim frowned and whispered, "I hope Logan doesn't find out." This thought was banished within a second, and was soon jumping out of the pool to get her camera.
Turning back to Ashley, she gigggled. "Smile!" [/sup] |

Ashley turned around to Kimberly and flashed her a smile. Once the photo was taking she laughed.
"Dont thank me for trying to be a good friend!" Ashley laughed "Because thats what I am supposed to do" Ashleys smiled went down but still stayed. She liked hanging out with Kimberly, it was ALWAYs alot of fun!

Chucking her small camera back with her stuff, she jumped back into the water. Splashing her friend playfully, she gave a content sigh.
"Ash, you're the best. I can just see us being 90 year old grandmothers together," Kimberley sighed, and ran a hand through her wet, knotted hair.
And then a laugh was given. She really enjoyed hanging out with Ashley. But sometimes she could get really jealous because Ash was so pretty. [/sup] |

Ashley lifted her leg then quickly pounded her foot back into the water creating a splash to splash Kimberly back. She smiled then stood up. She looked at the water then jumped down into it, no dive, no canon ball, or belly flop, just an all oringinal jump. She came up.
As a joke she flipped her hair slowly as if it was a slow motion movie, but her hair ended up smaking her face and sticking to it.She laughed and pushed it away.
"Why so pestimistic?" Ashley asked "I mean, why cant we live to be 158 year olds?" she laughed at the thought, her in a rocking chair and kimberly on a big fluffy chair, just talking while watching their great great grandchildren play with blocks, it made her laugh. Hopefully their great great grandkids would become great friends like their great great grandmas.
