The library was empty, the only sounds coming from the pages that were being leafed through by Jason Ward. He would sip his coffee, then change the page, scanning through the book quickly.
He had his feet up on one of the tables, leaning back in his chair like most highschoolers do, even though he was a teacher. His reading glasses perched upon his nose in a geek-chic sort of way.
As he leaned back once more, he went a bit too far.
"SHIT!" Rang out through the library, the sound of books falling accompanying it. He had managed to ruin a good two-hundred dollars worth of literature with his coffee.
Leave it to him to manage that.

Juliet entered the library to hear the curse word 'Shit' ring through the silent room. Giggling girlishly, she walked throught past the tall cases of books and to the front desk, placing her over-due library books into the slot with a enevolope reading, 'Oops, Sorry, Love Juliet' on the front in cursive script.
A small smile still on her lips as she looked for the owner of the voice. The girl managed to find him. Mr Ward had just managed to ruin a lot of money. "I think that's why you're not supposed to drink in the library," Juliet said with a slight tease in her voice.
Reaching up to pull a large book of a high shelf, her tight white top and light pink mini-skirt lifting up just a tad, but enough to show a lot. Picking the book off the shelf, Juliet looked back to him, smiling. [/sup]

Jason laughed, pretending not to look as she reached for a book.
"Well, nobody has to know." He said with a laugh, slipping the books into random spots on the shelf. "At least, nobody other than us." He whispered, grinning devilishly.
"So, what brings you to the library?" He questioned, hoisting himself up and thanking God for preventing the coffee from reaching his shirt. He wore a blue snap-button long sleeved plaid shirt and jeans, along with outrageously expensive leather shoes.
Of course, those shoes just had to be the part of him drenched in coffee.

Juliet laughed as he pretended not to look, and gave a little shiver at that devilish grin. Matching that grin with a slightly seductive one of her own, her eyes looked him over, un-ashamed.
Running a hand through her blonde, hair, which was left down in it's natural half-wavy style. He had asked why she was there. Why was she there, again? Oh, right. "I'm here because I have some slightly overdue books," Juliet said with a smirk. Slightly overdue? Try a few months.
Eyes locked onto his, she flicked her hair over her shoulders with that 'I think you're hot,' air about it.

He was trying to avoid 'the zones' on her body. He was afraid of looking at her breasts, butt, and the tiny bit of skin peeking from under her shirt.
He didn't want to be too obvious about his attraction. He made sure to keep eye-contact and moved closer to her, his hand drifting to her arm. "Come on!" He exclaimed, laughing, "Overdue books? How hard is it to get books back on time?"
His eyes were dancing in the dim lighting of the library, and he could feel Juliet's pulse beating under his touch. He could feel his cheeks flushing, and he was glad for the low lighting. He couldn't help leaving his hand there, counting the beat and losing track of the situation. He suddenly snapped out of his slight daze, eyebrows raising.
"So, how is school going so far?" He questioned, wanting to distract himself with conversation, but refusing to let go of her arm.

Juilet felt her heart skip a beat when his touch was placed onto her arm. Her breathing got slightly shaky, and she looked down at his hand and then back to his face, a smile across her face.
She had heard things about Jason. Some good, some...slutty. And she liked it. What could she say? Juliet was like that.
"Pff. You're talking to the wrong girl if you want to know about school," she told him, and then did a double take on that. "I mean...school's been great so far." Juliet gave him a cheeky smile and took a tiny step closer.
She took in his features. Beautiful eyes, hair that she wanted to play with. Juliet took a deep breath and continued to keep eye-contact.

"God!" He exclaimed, laughing, "You should know that when people ask how school is going, they don't mean class." He grinned, finally releasing her arm, his hand feeling lonely without her pulse beneath it.
"I want to know how /school/ is." He chuckled, "You know, drama, gossip, boys..." He trailed off, finally giving in to his instincts, and glaced her up and down. She was a very good looking girl. He wouldn't mind a chance with her.

She gave a laugh when he checked her out, and struck a little pose. Hands on her hips, one leg placed out in front and bent slightly. Turning her head slightly on the side, Juliet gave a slightly shrug.
"/School's/ fine. No-one special in my life yet. Although, there is this one guy I have my eye on," she said in a voice barely more than a whisper, and stepped closer to him. Trailing a finger slowly down his jaw-line, Juliet smiled at him sweetly.

Jason stiffened- no, not THAT kind. His back suddenly became very straight, and he felt as if any movement on his part would break a bone.
"Hmm..." He took a deep breath, tons of situations running through his mind. "Let's sit." He said, his head minutely nodding towards the tables next to them. "We can have a real chat." He was feeling flexible again, so he wrapped one arm around her waist to guide her to the table.
None of the teachers there really knew him, and he could pass as an eighteen year old when he didn't have his silly goatee.
Luckily, he had shaved this morning.

Juliet gave a little smirk. Sitting was good. Sitting and talking. She could deal with that. Besides, why wouldn't she sit and chat with such a hot guy?
Feeling his arm around her waist, she looked down at it, but not in a disgusted way. In a 'whoa' kind of way. Juliet's eyes looked back to him, and she gave him a little grin, just to show she approved.
Walking slowly over to the table, she pulled herself out a chair. Slowly, as if she didn't want to, she stepped out of his grip and settled himself into the chair.
"What would you like to talk about?"

He laughed, then said the inevitable: "Homecoming."
Ah, the first drama-fest of the year. Homecoming was ten times as bad as the Bonfires. It always had been, and it always will be. When he was a student, two girls ended up dropping out of Valkyrie because of events that happened involving homecoming. One got pregnant, the other discovered she was a lesbian.
Yes, Homecoming did teach valuable lessons. Mostly, it taught to bring a camera.
"Got yourself a wonderful date yet?" His eyebrows raised, and he was absentmindedly drumming his fingers against the table. One of the many things people like Jason never grow out of.

Juliet gave a little shake of her head. Eyes looked down at her hands, which were clasped in her lap. Homecoming. The biggest event of the year and her stupid parents told her that her uncle was getting married...in a different state!
Giving a heavy sigh, she looked back up to Jason with a smile. "Me? I'm not going. My uncle is getting married." She then tilted her head over to one side and asked, "What about you? Are you going?"
Juliet brushed her hair back over her should with one movement of her hand, and crossed her right ankle over her left under the table. Things she did when she was nervous or angry. Annoying, but hard not to do for her.

He smiled, leaning close to her, "Well, I'm not going," He paused, debating whether or not to finish his sentence, then spoke again, "Unless the right girl offered."
He would be willing to take a student, of course. Valkyrie dances hardly had any real supervision, and if they did, he could claim he was just escorting whatever girl by her parent's wishes.
Too bad Juliet wouldn't be going.
"Now, how badly do you have to go to this wedding? You aren't the maid of honor or anything, right? You're certainly not the Best Man, I hope." He laughed, running a hand through his hair and staring down into her chest- er...eyes.

She gave a little moan under her breath when he leaned closer. Oh, how she wished she could go with him. Or at least...have him.
Swallowing slowly, she gave a little smile. "I have to go. I am a bride's maid and my mother is counting on me being there. I...I can't let my mother down again," she said, her smile faltering, but only for a moment.
Eyes looked at where his gaze was going, and she gave a little laugh. "Enjoying the show?" Juliet asked him, and gave him a playful slap on the arm. She then tilted her head on the side, brushing her hair away from her eyes.
