The only thing Jessica loved more than her daddy lending her his credit card, was maxing it. It was the equivalent to amazing sex, in her opinion.
The clean aroma of the mall bombarded her as she opened the heavy glass door and stepped inside, out of the fading day, and into the florescent lighting. She honestly didn't know where to head first.
Putting a slim hand on her hip, she formulated her shopping plan. This was a good shopper's guide to success: a good shopping plan. First she would head to Abercrombie&Fitch, then to Hollister, finishing off the night with a stop to Gucci for a new pair of sunglasses.
Content with her decision, Jessi strutted the length of the mall and into Abercrombie&Fitch. She started at the jeans, grabbing whatever caught her eye and throwing it across her arm.
The way she felt tonight, she could have bought the whole store and then some. Hell, she probably would.

Mark usually wouldn't be caught dead at the mall. But today, it was someone's special day. His ex girlfriend's birthday. Yeah, it's weird that he celebrates that, but they are still very good friends. Abercrombie&Fitch sold clothes. Girls like clothes. Perfect. A smirk on his face, he walked past people and into the shop, some music he had never heard playing lightly in the background.
He looked around at the clothes and nearly died under the pressure. Which ones to choose? What size was she? What the hell was he doing in a clothes shop? He then saw a pretty girl walk into the shop and he nearly yelled thanks to the lord, but just said it quietly under his breath. Taking a few casual strides towards her, he put on a dazziling smile. "Excuse me miss. I know you don't work here but you seem like you have an amazing taste in fashion."
A smirk crossed his lips this time. He was proud of himself for being such a sweet-heart. "I was wondering if you could help me pick a present for a friend?" he asked gently, and clasped his hands in front of him in a pleading way. [/sup]

You've got to be joking Jess turned as Mark approached her. "Thanks," she replied to his complement on her choice of clothing, giving him a smile. She looked him over once, realizing that she knew him from somewhere. She struggled to match face with name and after a few tough seconds it came to her.
"Mark Alter," she breathed, her eyes widening. "Why the hell are you in Abercrombie&Fitch?" She held a hand up. It was a rhetorical question, he had already told her why. "Hm, I /guess/ I could help you out. Do you know what this lady friend likes? Tees, jeans, sweaters?"
She held an arm out, taking in the span of the entire ladies section of the store. There was a lot to choose from.
This little good deed would definately throw off her shoping schedule. Better bump back Gucci and hour or so.

Mark laughed. Jessi was one of those girls who was a bitch but was sure to either be your best friend or your worst enemy. And he loved those girls. He was tempted to give her a big hug right then and now, but he wasn't /that/ shallow.
"I won't even bother asking what you're doing in here Miss Holland. That's just a gosh darn stupid question," he smiled, and then looked around the store. "Well, Aimee usually wears...hmm. Skirts, leggings, jeans, belts, halter necks.....Yeah. For a guy, I know a lot about female fashion." Mark then looked mock shy. "And that's just sad." A smile crept over his lips and he nodded.
"Well, I know helping me will set back you're shopping plan, but....you gotta help me. I nearly died when I walked in here," a smile was still on his lips and it widened. "And I will make it worth your while." [/sup]

"I'd love to know how you'd make it worth my while, but first lets find your woman some clothes." She grabbed him by the elbow and pulled him to the other side of the room, stopping in front of a huge wooden shelf full of leggings and skirts. The diversity of style and color was jaw dropping.
"Alrighty, which ones do you think she'll like the best, and which ones can you afford?" She glanced sidelong at Mark, waiting to see his reaction to the selection laid out before him.
ooc: SHORT! SHORT! SHORT!! GAH! DX

"Hey....technically she's not /my/ woman," he joked, and blew Jessi a little kiss while they were walking. A laugh echoed from his lips after this and he turned to look at the clothes Jessi was showing him. His draw dropped. Literally. How could someone really need three different pairs of leggings exactly the same except the color? The female mind was a scary place, and he would never understand it.
"Jessi...I...absouletly...love...you," Mark grinned, and looked at all the clothes. He picked up a nice black, white and pink skirt, a pair of white and black striped legging and showed them to Jessica. "What do you think darling?" he asked her in a polite voice. [/sup] ooc You're not the only one. D :
