HEY PARTY PEOPLE!!!
So we all know VA is awesome. One of the things that make it awesome is how we put a lot of emphasis on making everything pretty, as in clean signatures, icons on the posts, rotating banners in the lay outs. Basically everything looks very well done. Being so graphics heavy though, and the fact many of our PB's are not that well known through LJ and greatestjournal and other such sites, I took it upon myself to give us more space for making and requesting icons and graphics.
There you go VA, we have our own graphics community. We have always encouraged members to have an LJ account to search for graphics, you don't need to obviously but if you have one, you may want to join up. You request or post your own icons, anything. If you post and you are doing graphics for characters on the site you MUST TAG EVERYTHING. I have a system where you tag the PB's name, as well as the character's name, the type or graphic(ie icons or banners), and show/movies. Like I earlier made a post with Majandra Delfino icons, these I tagged Majandra Delfino, Claire Bartnett, Roswell, Icons.
Get it? Awesome. So go ahead and join and post and have fun with it. It's not mandatory but it might be good idea. Plus if you have been doing your own graphics, it's always nice to post and share them, maybe get some nice comments and stuff. I am Uggaspice, the Maintainer of the community. If you want to be a maintainer and I love you enough, just give a shout out and I totally will.
