It wasn't one of those awkwardness between two people after they had sex. Though Daphne hadn't seen Josh in a couple days since then, he did call and they talked for some time. They were both on the pier, which had a beautiful view of the ocean.
The wood squeaked as they walked together, hand-in-hand. Yeah, it was no-brainer for the other students at Valkyrie. Now, it was Josh & Daphne. Oh how cute. They just look so perfect together. I knew they would. Blah, blah, blah.
Daphne had been also given dirty little look from some other girls that seemed to adore Josh like the bees adored honey. But, she let it roll off her shoulder, not like she cared.
Today she wore jeans and brown suede boots with a brown sweater over. it was September nearing October. California never stayed sunny forever. At least Valkyrie didn't. It grew cold along with all the east-coast cities.

Josh walked down the pier, holding hands with Daphne. They were the new couple at Valkyrie Academy. Mostly everybody new now, news spends fast there. They would be talking about them, how good they are together and things like that. Or some people were just the opposite and wanted them to break-up.
Josh wore jeans and a green striped polo. He also had a jacket over it. It was a pretty casual outfit.
It was beautiful tonight. Well, every night on the pier is beautiful. Josh looked towards Daphne and smiled. "Do you want anything?" he asked her.

Daphne looked around at all the little shops and what not along the pier. Food, clothes, art, photobooths, music. Wait, photobooths? That could be a little fun. She turned and faced him, still holding his hand. "Let's do something fun."
She ushered him over to the little black and white booth. "Let's get our pictures. It'll be fun," she said and kissed him before dissapearing behind the curtain.[/size]

Josh looked around at all the little shops and stands. You could get food and drinks. You could get someone to paint a picture of you. There was shirts and lots of music. There were even photo booths.
"Ok, that sounds cool." he said to her. He walked into the booth and sat down on the little seat. He put the money into the thing and started looking through the back rounds. You could have little hearts around your picture, or aliens. There was fire on the one and it said devils. There were tons to choose from. "Which one do you want?" he asked her.

Daphne smiled as she stuck her tongue out at the camera. She flipped through more backround until they settled on two hearts. "Aww, it's like it was meant to be," she said and selected it. The red light flashed as the countdown of five seconds began. "Ready?" she asked, but before he could answer she leaned forward and lip-locked Josh.

It had taken. She looked at the end product and smiled. It looked so cute. "Your turn," she said as she moved a little bit for him to decide. The photobooth wasn't that spacious to begin with, so the two were a little on the cramped side. [/size]
