A weird addiction to a weird song, why yes, that's exactly what poor Kaiser had. His latest song that he had become addicted to was something he found while wandering around on Youtube, only to find the song, get addicted to it, search like mad for it on Limewire, and eventually downloaded it. Then, he burned it and wha-la! A totally *cough*il*cough* legal song.
So, there poor Kaiser was, running laps, not trusting the partly cloudy skies and wishing for a new day. Occasionally, a few coughs managed to break free from his throat, but luckily he might have been getting over the troublesome cold he seemed to never be rid of for the past two weeks.
Today the teenager had on dark blue, knee length shorts with a dark blue strip down the side, and a white tank top that was hidden by a gray sweatshirt, which he had his CD player tucked away in. Finally, he wore his typical 'running' shoes. This was his morning run. Granted, he hated morning runs, but still he needed them to stay in shape and fit for what ever sports he's doing this year.
While around his ears was the familiar set of dark grey head phones, the tune 'Hey, Hey, Hey!' by Orange Rage blasted, he hummed softly along with the tune of the song. His breathing was steady, his speed was at a constant to the extent he never had to slow down or speed up, and from what he could tell, his heart rate was normal. Everything was normal. Except for that damn cough.

Ok, it's early and she hated mornings, but it was the only thing that she had to do.
Jessica set her cell phone down on the black track as she stretched her legs out. She sighed into the crisp morning air, a cloud of her breath forming infront of her face. Her long blonde hair was pulled away from her face with a rubber band. Her makeup was intact--as always-- she wouldn't go anywhere without it, even if she was just at the track jogging alone. You never know who you might meet.
She stood, stretching her arms. Once finished, she pulled on her neon pink hoodie, covering some of the middrift that was exposed as she bent to stretch her legs. Her black sophie shorts were rolled, exposing a white elastic band. Inside of her hoodie pouch she had an ipod tucked away, it's earphones fit snuggly into each ear, playing her choice of the day, "Her Space Holiday".
She picked up her cellphone, shoving it into the pouch next to her ipod and began her morning jog.

After finishing his final lap, Kaiser ran towards the middle of the football field, then jumped into the air and purposely tumbled onto the ground, barrel rolling a few times and then laying flat on the ground, gasping for air. Of course he was tired, it's easy to be when you don't have a lot of sleep. But, oh how he loved running, except for early morning runs, those were hell.
Slowly, the song died down from his headphones, he pulled them back from around his ears so they were situated on his neck and then stared at the other runner. She kind of stood out, after all bright pink was very... Visible to say the least.
Once more, he climbed to his feet, then looked at her as she ran around. After a few seconds, he raised one of his hands in the air to wave and then shouted, "Hey!" Granted, he wasn't sure if she could hear him or not, since he was fairly far away and couldn't see any signs of headphones.

Looking around her, Jessica's thoughts raced. Everything that had gone on the past day with Anna, and Mr. Ward. How she felt about it. Too much for Jess. Waaay too much. She pushed the thoughts out of her head, concentrating on the track in front of her.
She didn't even notice the other person on the track, until his raised hand caught her eye. She pulled her headphones out and dug in her hoodie pouch, fishing out her ipod and pressing the pause button. She stopped, turning toward him. "Hey," she called back, raising her hand a little.
She couldn't tell who it was, she was half a football field away afterall. She walked toward him, rolling her earphones around her ipod and shoving it back into the pocket. Oh, fun. Another morning runner.

He caught a glance at the Ipod then shook his head, "Does everyone have an Ipod at this school?" he asked shaking his head slightly before jogging half way to meet her the girl.
"Hi, I'm Kaiser," the junior said, introducing himself. Granted, it was rather straight forward and blunt. But, hey, it saves time going: Hi, how was your day? Good. Good... So yeah, how 'bout that weather...
And then, at the end of the very odd conversation having to do with floating clouds, you finally get the person's name. Come on, that's no fun! Let alone the millions of times you talk to a person, and then never get their name. Leaving you standing there, like an idiot, when they're like: Hey! Kaiser, what's up?!
And you're like: Hey! Someone I whom I don't know your name. Not much!? How bout you?!
Yeah, no way to start a conversation that way, or it least, it was in his mind. After taking a few deep breathes of air he smiled slightly, "Early morning runner to?" he asked, even though the answer was rather obvious.
