Dear Miss,
Oh, a new import? That's interesting. Well the word, 'monotonous' means boring, or dull. For example, "The professor of this class talks with a monotonous voice." I hope that helps to some extent. So, where are you originally from, exactly?

You're very welcome,
American literature can be quite bland at times, I agree. Antibes, isn't it by Juan-Les-Pins? I do recall going to Juan-Les-Pins and occasionally going to Antibes when I was younger, it's on the south-eastern part of France, by the ocean, the closest biggest city being Nice. It is a beautiful place, but why would someone as beautiful as yourself leave such a country to come to Valkyrie of all places?

Dear Miss,
Ah, another supermodel. So the agency really controls your life, doesn't it? I would feel a little too constricted if that were my situation, but I suppose it is different for everyone. The names of your cousins seem familiar, I think Coco is the one that goes to this Academy, correct? I don't think I've heard of Hugh though.

stranger, it is not constricting. i love what i do. i do what i can for success. we have to make a career somehow. i just started it earlier than most. ah, well good to know they're not outcasts. i feel like i barely know them. i barely know you. what is your name, monsieur?

Dear Miss,
Well that is true, one has got to make a name for themselves, but when you say earlier than most, what are you referring to? Modeling at at 10 years and getting an acting deal along side it? Whatever it may be, your life does sound... full, for a lack of a better word. And my name is Hunter, may I inquire about yours?

Mademoiselle Anabel,
Well, that is true, a full life is better than a bland one. Well, I was raised to be charming and gentle, my parents believed in chivalry, but I suppose as much as I tried to resent that, it still comes through. But tell me this, mademoiselle, are you inquisitive by nature?

hunter, that is not a bad thing, monsieur. inquisitive? oh, fureteur? i hope not, for if so, i do not want to come across as rude. asking questions following my first one, during class, is not appropriate. maybe i should pay attention if i am to learn anything by the end of my minimal senior year here. i suppose we should talk later, hunter?
