so, this has been circulating around the cbox and plotting boards for awhile now. a 'street racing community' originating down in the shaks. you know, showing off your cars while racing for money. it's highly dangerous and highly illegal. and we're going to have one.

so, we'll be starting out with 'drag racing' which is racing down a road 1/4 a mile down and then back, first car to cross the finish line wins, obviously. i know there are other forms of street racing and we can get into this later, but i think drag-ing it up might be fast for us now. and easy to roleplay because it would be in one place. i don't know where it'll be at. the location will change every time. but yeah, this thread was basically a short run down on it and we can organize our thoughts about it all. so if you want to be involved somehow reply! i know there's a few of us who are for sure doing this either way. there are lots of people there so maybe when we figure out what everyone's doing, i'll make a list. like, obviously there'll be racers. then there'll be the people who bring their cars but no plans to race it. bystanders are what make it interesting and the type of girls that are walking around on the arms of guys. and the flag girls! asia and i are having them around xD

but those are the brief details so this thread is just gonna be word vomit until we figure out when and where the first race will be <3

Kay, Fairuza will fo sho' be one of the drag racers, because let's face it, though she'd make a hot flag girl, that just isn't her. Besides, she needs someplace to race/ show off her souped up baby. Adrenaline junkies FTW!

alrighty, so i've only got two people being involved right now and that'd be aimee and austyn.
austyn will be racing and kicking all the boys' asses after dj brings her here. ooh gurms, austyn and fairuza should totally meet through this coz we said they'd be friends anyway. they should beat the boys and get out of their cars and be all 'hey you're a girl too. sweet!' xD and all that jazz. anyway, yeah so she's driving.
and aimee shall be one of the infamous flag!girls running around in her tiny bikini with a beer in hand lol.

Well me and georgie already talked about Austyn and Liz revin' it up as kick ass girls and me and gurms had totally mentioned Fairuza and Liz being friends and HOT DAMN I'm pretty sure these three will be some hot bad ass chicks, the only girls not in the bikinis lol.

Widow would never be skeazy enough to go bounce around in a bikini but she would so go and cheer people on, sleep with the winner if he was hot, etc.

Orion wouldn't race simply because he trying to keep the Sirens low profile because they've gone rough and the other sirens are out to kill Liz, at least for awhile until the death of darren jr, calms down. So he'd be against it for liz because it's an unnecessary legal risk for her, but I can totally see him charging people to let him spiff up their ride, make it run faster and more precise because the man knows two things, the gang and automobiles.

Shawn Bishop/Nameless Chris Pine would stay away at first but I could totally see some arrogant punk kids being all "you've got nothing" and "what a loser" and them him wiping the runway with their faces.

Anya, if she starts hanging with the less legal crowd and starts being less judgemental would totally go to video tape and have fun, let off steam but she would not be riding a car or a guy. And she'd be fully dressed.

I can see Peter there too, not so much riding but being the guy organizing and profiting from people placing bets.

Demitri would find it entertaining but never participate, too street rat for him.

I could see Jordin going after she gets a bit darker after adrian drama and stalker drama.

Fi would definitely go and watch, silently getting drunk.

If Reed is there, Mary would go, just because she'd be worried for his life. But idk if he is or not. Depending on the timing the same would go for Tim S. or Colin but I doubt Colin would be there.

first off, tess. it's funny. i just got done telling asia i gotta start my campaign for a jordana brewster on the site. lol i ever started making a thread saying i want someone to use her xD if you still are, we can discuss some other time.

next, brett will be a flag!girl with remy and aimee! lol, anna. brett will be all over your chris pine charrie! especially since he'd be new to the race scene for vside.

petros, well, yeah he'll be racing. he know in his app i said he'd race over in europe and asia and i drummed this whole idea up through petros and dj. so yeah, xD
finn will be racing too. he use to steal cars before he went to prison, the whole grand theft auto deal.
and then my last racer is gonna be paolo. he's still in his dark!paolo phase and since he's always looking for a rush, yeah, he'll be racing.

for the bystanders. daphne will go to see why everyone is so obsessed over this, she'll probably really like it.
bevin will go because she'd be worried about finn, and this is so her scene. i think she'd tag along in the austyn/liz/fairuza group if that's ok with you guys? she wouldn't race, but she knows a few things about cars, not as much but more than the average person you know?
lol though i have kickass pictures of reed racing xD he'd not really be into all that stuff. he'd be more of the guy collecting bets like peter while hanging out with the flag!girls between races.
sophie would come for petros though she'd so stick out there, so maybe she hangs with hayden if hayden's coming, asia?


ok, so that's done, i guess no we just have to decide what's going down. honestly? i would like to start this sooner rather than later because i am excited. it can take place at the end of may vside time if you want which would be soonish. the seniors now would be graduates by then.

yay for drag-racing! i honestly didn't think it was going to be this popular. xD but super glad it is. obviously. it seems like only yesterday i was looking at pics and we all got into talking about it. was that honestly last summer? damn. been almost a year since i made DJ. must have been. XD anyways!

well, DJ is obviously going to be one of the racers. one of the originals ftw. oh those trouble-makers. so yeah, he's one of the racers. we'll need to talk more about how he and austyn get into talking about it, georgie. 'cause that'll be awesome. out of all my charries, he'd def. take it the most seriously. especially 'cause cars get ruined during these races, and his car is his baby. hehe. so, yay for that.
another one of my racers, i'm thinking, is going to be matt. just 'cause he has pics of it, and kinda seems like something he'd do. i dunno why, but he would. xD

remy will be another. she'll be one of those hot flag!girls along with aimee and brett, obviously. xD the nicest out of the flag!trio, haha. speaking of girls. oooh. you guys she have this like, elusive clique for the racing girls. 'cause that would make me giggle. seems like something that would happen eventually, anyway.

hayden would fo'sho be there. so she should hang out with sophie, yes. xD she'd film it. make vids or mock it on her blog, depending on who is racing. can't really think of who else would be interested. hmmm. river might be, depending on what the scene is like. probably, though. it can be the hadley family bonding experience. xD
other people would probably pop in on occasion, but not really.

but yeah. i agree with lainey. let's get it started! like, the first race, right? xD maybe it could be a mini-event of some sort? like, have the racers and all the by-standers. bets, talking, all that fun stuff. oh, and lainey, i remember something we had talked about when it was just DJ and petros xD so i shall PM you about that.

ahhh, this is such a cool plot. i just found this and decided i want to be involved. yay. i think a few of my characters will definitely be there, but they'd probably all be bystanders, haha. Charlie for sure, to bet. of course. and cat would probably tag along because i think she'd find it pretty intriguing. and she'd probably be betting a little herself. artie would definitely start hanging around, too. her official reason would be that she finds it exciting, but it would also be that she wants to attempt to make sure dj doesn't fuck up too badly and kill himself or something. plus she'll probably laugh at him if he loses. true friendship, ladies and gentlemen. and i'm thinking andie would probably be there, too. she'd be a bystander, too, and she's not really the flag!girl type. she's got more dignity than i originally intended, it think. how strange. anyhow, lainey and asia, maybe we can do something with rendigan? oh. and milo might go now and then if sophie does.

garrett: bystander, if anything. probably only there to watch anne, because he's super protective over his cousin lately. especially when any cars are involved.
anabel: eh, i don't see her coming unless someone invites her and she becomes fascinated with it. but i don't think she'd want to go because she'd think it'd ruin her media reputation of being a 'poised, fashionable and not-so-drag-racey' girl.
maddox: he'd definitely be scamming and taking bets. stealing things. getting people drunk and take their money.
athena: same thing as maddox, but more of in a perturbed, reluctant fashion. she'd just look down upon the whole event.
