GRADE
CHANGES
this is the first of the many updates you'll be seeing this weekend at vside. school's winding down and summer's almost here for us. well, same with vside too. and since we have awesome things planned for vside's summer, we're starting the grade shift now. we want to do this in the least stressful and time-consuming way for the staff so you guys are coming to us. You have to reply to this thread with each one of your characters and state what grade we need to put them in.
like an example would be for me to reply to this thread on daphne's account and stating that she's being changed to a senior.
then i'd log out and log into reed's doing the same thing.
this way, the staff can just go in and change it for you.
graduating seniors have the option of choosing the member group of 'college' or 'adult'. all other high school students will be in the grade above the one they are in now, unless you talk with a staff member
if you have a character in college, no need to post unless they are graduating or dropping out and need to be moved into the 'adult' group
** Special note: if you just recently made a character and want them to stay in that grade for the coming school year, let us know that please.
SUMMERTIME
so, with changing grades must mean that we are in the summer right? yes. for the sake of wanting to get to the summer, we decided to skip out on prom, graduation, grad parties. yeah, we can do that next year xD
the school shooting thread has been dead for awhile, so that event if officially closed, while we are keeping open the shak party thread because we know we've been busy, and some people wanted to finish some plots.
the staff decided that we are skipping the month of june and going straight to july. this change is going to be in effect in ONE WEEK where vside will be in the month of july 2007. we know the summer is a long three months, so skipping june can get things done faster. so we're giving you an advance warning to square away certain plots and such and talk to who you need to for your plots. besides, we can always roleplay in the past if you really needed a thread that took place in june.
in about a week we're going to start our drag racing thread for those of you who know what i'm talking about.
so unless i am forgetting anything, i'm done with this update. there will be more to come, so keep a lookout.
BUT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REPLY TO THIS THREAD WITH EVERY CHARACTER YOU HAVE! GRADE CHANGES ARE IN EFFECT AS OF NOW!
