Oscar is a very lanky boy. He stands around six foot and weighs only around 130 pounds. Not exactly a football player. He has curly black hair and chocolate eyes. Pale skin from lack of sun in the summer. Now, given, Oscar isn’t a loser that locks himself in his room. He does have quite a few friends, especially in his art classes.

Oscar’s style is pretty laid back. He’ll wear a maroon polo and jeans and he’s out the door. It takes a lot to make him ‘dress-up’, but on the same side, he cares greatly how other view him. He cares what he looks llike and how his peers treat him.

He spends most of his time in Starbucks drawing, so he naturally has the coffee-aroma that usually travels with where ever he goes. He works at the local music store locate on the Strip. He enjoys it because hegets discounts on a bunch of CDs that come out.
Oscar now, isn’t the typical ‘ladies man.’ As you can see he is pretty lengthy and not beefy like most of the jocks at Valkyrie. But, he does have a ‘boyish charm’ to him that catch’s some girls’s eyes and if you did get time to know him, you would be amazed..

Personality:
Oscar, like I said, is pretty laid back. He doesn’t freak if he gets a ‘C’ on a test or if he didn’t get a piece of clothing. He cares about his life, and what happens in it, just not nit-picky.

Oscar is intelligent, even if he didn’t go to Valkyrie for photography and art, he sure would have gotten in for his academics. To begin with, he use to be in the ‘slower’ groups through-out elementary school. But as he grew older he grew smarter.

Funny is good. Funny is Oscar. Oscar always cracks jokes around his friends and get’s people into laughing fits. He loves to give people a good time, that is not necessarily partying like a lot of the kids do at Valkyrie. He actually tends to shy away from the hardcore parties and clubs but if his friends go, he follows step.

Cockiness and arrogance are from his intelligence. He usually gets in trouble from his teachers on his attitude. Oscar can be very arrogant when it comes to schooling. He outsmarts his teachers and outwits his peers. He’s not much of a fighter so if he did get in an argument with a classmate it usually ends with Oscar on his ass, but the student’s pride...ouch.

History:
On April 21, 1988 Oscar Lyon was born at Valkyrie Hospital. Following in step with his brother Trihn three years older than he. Born to a French father and an American mother, Oscar was treated like any other boy growing up. Chores, manners, the whole bit. He became interested in photography and art when he was ten. The family took a visit to Paris to visit his father’s family during the December break for Christmas. It must have been the snow on the old buildings but Oscar found it fascinating and bought his first camera there in Paris.

Once they had returned back to Valkyrie, his parents picked up on their son’s growing interest in art and photography and sent him to Paris at 11 in the summer. Every summer after that he spent most of his summers in France, taking art and photography classes, and would return back to Valkyrie at the end of August.

Somewhere between his freshman and sophmore year he grew to the liking of the guitar. He bought an acoustic and taught him self to learn it. He plays it often, he not perfect at it, but he’s good. You may just find him playing it at Starbucks. Given he’s not a John Mayer at singing but he does put it out once and awhile.

Now, he is at his last year Valkyrie Academy and he has some sort of what he wants to be. He doesn’t yet know where he wants to go, but he has a good head on his shoulders and is just “here” while awaiting the next part of his life.

Flaws:
Oscar sometimes gets a little shy around girls, but he talks to them, may or may not saying stupid things that don’t relate to anything. He’s not ‘girl-repellent’ he just would rather talk to the guys instead of talking to girls

He also can easily give up. When he doesn’t get anything or doesn’t understand it, he ‘shuts down’ and refuses to get it. Sometimes that could hurt his grade.

Living Situation:
Though his family has lived in The Valks all their lives, Oscar has been living in the dorms for the past four years. He didn’t want to deal with his parents, he just wanted to live on his own. He frequently though visits his parents. His dorm is filled with music posters of his favorite bands and pictures he had taken over the years.
