Appearance:
These days, personality doesn't really matter much. When a girl gets a boyfriend [or vice versa] they don't think about personality right away. It's just how life works. When teenage girls see a guy that they haven't known yet, they wouldn't be like, "I should get to know him." unless the guy looks cute. Think about it. Would you just want to start dating a guy whose appearance scares you? I wouldn't. Maybe that scary guy may be pretty nice and sweet but you wouldn't know that if you thought all about appearance. It's a very confusing thing but as nice as you might be, there are times in life when you just care about how someone or something looks. It might not be something you constantly do all the time, but it has to have happened at least one or two times in your entire life. Even when you were a baby, it still mattered. You might not think about appearance as much as older people do, but as a baby, would you want to play with someone that scared you? I know I wouldn't. Females are usually the ones that care more about looks, but some guys do it as well.
Like Scott Malinda for example. He is a guy after all and he cared about appearance. He might not be over the top like some girls, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't care about how he likes. Scott tries to look nice because well...He's a guy and he likes girls. But it's not exactly easy to meet hot girls if you look horrible. Scott isn't big on the appearance thing [so it's not like he'll get surgery to change himself], but he'll still try to look nice. He isn't the kind of guy that will shower three times a day [one time a day is enough for him, thank you very much]. Scott still likes to stay clean because even though some males say stuff like, "Your a guy. You are supposed to have your man-stink with you." but Scott isn't like that. He isn't a clean freak that uses the shampoos with a really strong smell, but it's still nice to be clean and hygenic. What if he saw a cute girl, but smelt like something rotton? Well, if that actually happened, Scott could just forget about that girl.
So, I'm hoping that you understand what I'm saying and I'll just get to the point. Scott doesn't care all about looks, but he still tries to look nice. Appearances aren't always about what you do to yourself. It's not all about where you shop or if you did something to yourself. Part of it is about your natural looks. Some people were fortunate enough to be born with good looks. They might have be really beautiful and not have to do a lot with how they look, but some other people are just in the middle. They have part of the looks and another part is a part where they have to put a little extra work to make them look cute/hot/or whatever you want to be. Look at Jessica Alba for example. Her looks are practically natural so she never has to do much with herself unlike some other celebrities like Britney Spears who has new lips. Scott is pretty much in the middle.
Brownish/Hazel is the color of Scott's eyes. He doesn't really care about his eyes and as long as he can see and sin't fine, the guy is fine with his eyes. Scott doesn't care what color his eyes are - as long as they aren't scary, so he doesn't wear those colored contacts. Then again, why should he wear contacts in the first place? Scott doesn't have perfect eyesight but he doesn't need glasses or contacts..yet. Who knows? Maybe in the future he'll need them. That time may be coming soon or it might be coming ten or twenty years from now. It's not like Scott would know. He doesn't have a psychic or time traveling powers. It would be pretty cool if he did though. Scott's nose and lips are pretty much the same with his eyes. He doesnt care much about them as long as they don't look weird. And if he can still smell and taste things, it's all good.
Scott's hair is probably one of the things he cares about the most. He has brown hair that is usually a little spiky at times. He doesn't want to comb it and wear tons of gel because then he would look like Danny from Grease and it's not like he wanted to look like him. Plus, if Scott did that and didn't look like Danny, then he would look like Elvis. As great as Elvis was, Scott didn't want to look like him neither. Anyways, his hair is something he likes. Scott doesn't have to do much to make it look nice, but that's probably not the reason why he likes it so much. To be honest, Scott most likely not even know why he liked his hair. It's just one of those things that you like but you don't know the reason why. There's just something about it, the reason is at the tip of your tongue, but you just can't figure it out.
Scott stands at 6'1. Although he isn't the tallest guy you might meet, he isn't short. Scott likes his height since he may be shorter than a few people but at least he's not a tower compared to other people. Being short stinks but being tall isn't the greatest thing neither. Scott isn't really sure about how much he weighs since as long as he looks good to himself [and let me just tell you that he usually always looks good if you ask him], Scott doesn't really need to weigh himself. Since he exercises and plays many sports, Scott has a pretty nice body. You can usually find him at a beach. Maybe he's just hanging out there with some of his friends or maybe he's exercising there by running or whatever. Either way, after doing that for a while, Scott has gotten a nice body.
Personality:
Earlier I had mentioned that not many people really care about personality these days. It's all about appearance and what people are wearing or the kind of things they're buying. Well, not all people focus all on how someone looks. Some people actually care about personality and I'm not sure if you've noticed but that's kind of a good thing. Not everyone in the world was lucky enough to be born beautiful, handsome, hot, or cute. BUT most have found someone they loved or someone that loved them back because their personalities were just amazing. Sure, some people have horrible personalities but manage to get through life because of their looks, but appearance doesn't help you get through absolutely everything. Your personality still matters at various moments.
If you really knew Scott, you couldn't say that he was perfect. He wasn't loved by everyone, but then again, who is? He has enemies and people that dislike him, but then there are also people that like him too. Sometimes it's because of how he looks or what he does. Sometimes people hate and like him just because he isn't the kind of person they like. That's completely normal because no one in the world is the same so you are bound to find someone that isn't like you. Usually, if you find someone that is too much unlike you, you will dislike him and that's how things work with Scott. People don't like him may not like him because of how he acts. But then if you didn't know Scott, you would wonder, what is he like in the first place?
It kind of depends. When I say that, it doesn't mean that Scott's two faced because he really isn't. To know what his personality is like, you have to be a little more specific. Like, do you want to know what his personality is like in a relationship, with friends, or what? He usually acts along the same lines either way, but still. There is still some difference in how he acts will all of those and it's not that Scott is scared to show one side of himself to people. No, that was Aaron not him. Aaron was the one that acted weird when with girls than he was with guys - not Scott. They might have had a brother-ish relationship, but that didn't mean that they had to be exactly alike with absolutely everything that they did.
Let's start with what Scott is like in a relationship or with girls. To be honest, Scott flirts a lot. When he sees a girl that he likes, he'll flirt - it's just something natural that he does. He doesn't get in bed with any kind of girl because he just isn't that kind of guy. If some girl wants sex, he won't give it to her unless he really knows her...That statement doesn't apply when he's drunk because then he's just not thinking right. When Scott's in a relationship though, he won't flirt. Maybe a little here and there, but not a lot. He'll try not to get drunk or high as much because he doesn't want to risk losing a girl that he really likes. So far, Scott has only had one girl in his life that he liked that much, but it was a while ago.
Even though Scott may not want to risk a relationship, he still is a pretty adventurous and risky guys. He'll do dares or even start some for his friends. Scott doesn't exactly attempt to do things that will possibly end his life because that's just going a bit too far. Or if it could get him in big trouble, he won't do it. If the trouble he can get in is just something like detention, then Scott won't really care because he has went to detention a few times and honestly thinks that it isn't that bad. The teacher that watches him usually is asleep anyways. Scott jokes around a lot so you can have fun with him. He's cool to be around so you can befriend him if you have the same interests as him. Maybe even if you don't have anything in common you can be his friend. It just depends on how you meet, I guess.
Scott can be protective over someone he cares about. He isn't big on the whole 'protective' thing but he still is a little protective. Just a slight bit. In school, Scott isn't the biggest troublemaker. He's in the middle of always getting in trouble and the teacher not noticing that he does things he's not suppose to do. Scott isn't dumb, but he isn't the smartest kid either - and that's why he paid to get into Valkyrie and didn't get a scholarship. Scott can also be a little selfish and envy other people too. He doesn't exactly envy people because of their popularity [but it still happens sometimes], but more because of the things they have. His family is also pretty wealthy, so Scott can usually get things he doesn't have, but there are some things that money can't buy.

History:
When Scott hadn't been born yet, there was little Ashton. Of course nobody knew that Ashton was really Aaron and everything was pretty much confusing if you knew the truth about the kids. About how they got switched at the hospital - accidently, might I add. Not even the doctors knew because at the hospital they went to, the doctors weren't the best. They were just good enough but just because you meet expectations doesn't mean that you're the best, now does it? They didn't pay much attention and the parents didn't notice because the kids looked too much alike. Some people say that somewhere on the other side of the world, there is someone that looks just like you. Well, for Ashton and Aaron, they were in the same hospital instead of the other side of the world.
While one pair of parents didn't know, the others did. But that was a little while after Scott was born. They still didn't tell him, but let's rewind to the part where Scott was born. The hospital they were in was still in Orange County, but it was a different one considering how the family moved and there was another hospital that was nearer. Plus, when a woman's water breaks, would you rather have her rushed to a nearby hospital or the one that takes longer to get to? Well, the family did the smart thing and went to the nearby hospital. The parents were so happy to have a kid, but when you're about to have one and you're not at the hospital, you're more worried than excited. In the end it didn't really matter, because Scott had been born.
Scott grew up with a so called brother and of course he had a sister he didn't know about. His 'brother' and him had a really close brotherly relationship. They both liked soccer, but Aaron was always the older brother that loved soccer more. As a little baby, Scott's father liked soccer, but he still watched football. Aaron and Scott would watch too. Of course, Scott didn't really understand what was going on but the game was always amazing to him. He loved how the ball wasn't round like most balls in sports and the stuff those 'big boys' wore were so different from all the other sports. Scott didn't exactly want to play at the time and just watched football whenever he was with his father and his mother didn't turn on some cartoons.
Around the age four. Scott still hadn't played football yet. His father had tried to get him into soccer, but Scott never really wanted to. A few months later, even though he was still a little young, Scott still knew some things. So, he had decided that he didn't want to be like his father or borther. He wanted to be his own person. To be one of a kind, and not do what everyone else was doing. He continued to watch football more, even though his dad wasn't around, and it didn't take him long to understand how the game worked. Scott still loved the same things about football that he did not too long ago, and his mom noticed that sooner than his dad did. She bought him some footballs and few books about football and loved the look on Scott's face when he saw something that interested him.
Soon enough, instead of Scott's father putting him into football, it was his mother. He was one of the top football players on his little team and although his dad was a little disappointed that his son wasn't one to play soccer, he still loved seeing him playing a sport. Growing up, Scott was still playing football and it was nice when you could tell your friends in elementary school that you played football. Growing up, Scott continued to play the sport and it was one thing that gave him some popularity. In middle school, eighth grade to be exact, Scott met one girl that wasn't like any other. He flirted with many females, but this one was so different and she was his first girlfriend. They were a couple for a while and one night, Scott lost his virginity - and he was okay with it. He had loved the girl, so it didn't seem to matter to him.
That was, until she took a pregnancy test and it came out a positive. Scott and the girl were freaking out but they had managed to keep everything quiet. How? Well, the two were just very, very, very careful about the things they did. The girl took a few more tests [just to be safe], and it turned out, she wasn't pregnant. The thing that happened though, kind of got in the way of things, and soon enough, Scott broke it off with her. He continued life, they both moved on, and nobody ever found out about it. Scott had never told anyone about that happening - even the people he trusted. He just couldn't take that risk because you never know when a friend could turn into your enemy.
A few more years passed, and Scott had started drinking and things like that. He did things most teenagers did, got in trouble every now and then, but he wasn't the worst person. He had a few more girlfriends but only had sex with one of then. He just couldn't handle everything that happened with his first girlfriend again. He had gotten lucky and appreciated it a lot. More years passed and there was that whole thing with Aaron and Ashton switching places. Scott was very surprised, and after the switch, things weren't going so well. Scott tried to get along with Ashton but Ashton just was horrible. The two never got along and they were constantly arguing about things that were sometimes just plain out stupid.
Scott decided that he wanted to go to Valkyrie - anywhere to get away from Ashton. The guy was just weird. How could someone that was his true brother be so different? Anyways, Scott went to Valkyrie and met his 'family'. It was nice to be back with Aaron, but he still isn't that close with his brother anymore. They're just 'okay' right now and aren't the closest. Scott is living his life and he had moved here at the beginning of winter break. Valkyrie certainly something he enjoyed, but it seemed like anything was better than being around Ashton. He actually liked his new family members and although his 'parents' weren't always around, it was still nice to have some 'cousins' and 'siblings' since Scott didn't have many true ones. Now, he's just trying to get through his senior year of this academy.

Roleplaying Sample:
Great. Another repeat of the masquerade ball. That was the last thing Samantha needed and definitely the last thing she wanted. Okay, cross that last part out. It wasn't the last thing Samantha wanted since that night was pretty much amazing. It was just that little part where the guy that was standing before them right now slightly ruined the night. Of course, Samantha couldn't let something like that ruin everything. That was sooo 2006. Now it was 2007, and although last year was only a few days before, Samantha just wanted to forget that part and remember this year. Everything that happened the time before was the past and now she was going to cherish the present and maybe she'll have a good future. Of course everyone wants a good future for themselves and maybe children that they might have. That was kind of why Samantha tried so hard to do in school. She didn't know what kind of career she wanted but the girl knew that if she wanted to be successful, she would have to work for it.[/center][/blockquote]
Success wouldn't just get off a plane and knock on the door of Samantha's room. She had to deserve it and in this world, nothing is that easy. Anyways, let's get back to the point. The man that was there at the masquerade ball was standing here right in front of Samantha. Anyone that could see her would know that since there was nothing covering neither of them from other people. Samantha didn't understand nor did she like how things were going right now. Paolo had said something to the man about having a problem with his father. But then, what scared Samantha was that the man wanted to see Paolo. She didn't get it. Why would he want to see Paolo if it was his father that put his relative in jail. Stop being such an idiot, Sam. He lied to you. Paolo lied to you. she thought to herself, not wanting to think that was really happening. Sure, everyone lied about things and this might have not been something Paolo wanted to advertise..Samantha just thought of any excuse. She just couldn't think of Paolo as a bad person so what could this guy be talking about. What could he possibly want from Paolo. Or maybe, it would just be better if Samantha didn't know.
Hah, like she wouldn't find out. Even though you wouldn't think of Samantha as that kind of girl, she would get that information out of Paolo Giovanni. She may wait for the right time when she could ask him or just ask him right away because she wanted to know what was going on. It's not like this guy just happened to be at the same place as Paolo and Samantha. Sure, there were coincidences but this moment couldn't be classified at one. It just couldn't because that's not how things worked. And out of all the nights and time to go, this guy just happened to be on the streets when Paolo and Samantha were hanging out. Yeah, that was just bullshit. Samantha liked the truth just like the next person and even though she may have been dumb enough to believe Paolo the first time, it wasn't going to happen again. Truthfully, Samantha really liked him and wasn't going to just kick him out of her life, but she just needed some time to take everything in. It's not like Samantha could do anything right now anyways. She was scared but it's not like she could run right now. No, she wouldn't leave Paolo here. If something were to happen to him and she wasn't there... Nothing is going to happen to him, Sam. Nothing.
Then the man said something about Paolo doing him a favor. Please let it be something like, get me some coffee..or buy me some Tootsie Roll. Just don't let it be anything horrible. That was what Samantha thought right after Paolo agreed. Apparently he wasn't thinking right. Maybe he has a plan. Please have a plan, Paolo. Please. Usually Samantha wouldn't be thinking like this but everything about that guy just screamed, "LIFE IN DANGER!!!" And Samantha liked life, thank you very much. She just no longer felt so safe like she did a few minutes ago. It wasn't like Samantha could just grab Paolo's key and drive off on his motercycle. There were three problems with that plan. First, Samantha would have to leave Paolo alone and she already didn't want to do that. Second of all, the man was probably going to be faster at doing whatever he wanted. Samantha just wouldn't be the quickest. Then there was the fact that Samantha has only ridden on a motercycle three times. Once when she was little, another time when her friend was teaching her, and with Paolo. and when her friend taught her, well, it was only a one day thing and it was so long ago that Samantha didn't even remember much about it. But this was one thing she was going to remember.
The gun in the man's hand.
Worse part? She could have sworn that it was pointed at her. After that, everything happened way to fast. Samantha heard one shot and she felt afraid. The girl didn't even hear the second one since it had already hit her. She fell down onto the hard grown, a tear might have been sliding down her cheek - she couldn't be sure. Everything after that was a blur. She couldn't see anything except someone above her. She heard someone else talking and a voice saying her name. It was most likely Paolo but she couldn't be sure. Too much was going on. I can't die! No. No. No. No. No. No. It isn't going to happen. Samantha kept telling her that. "Paolo.." She said - it sounded like a whisper, but every word was so painful. She had to make it quick. Whoever was holding her, she didn't care. She just needed to say, "Is he okay? Tell me Paolo is okay..." The pain in her stomach hurt so much. You are not going to die. No. This is just a dream. Just a fucking dream. But if it was a dream, then why was the pain so real? And why did it feel as if she was drifting off to sleep, now? It seemed as if everything else in the world - every sound and color - was just nothing. Paolo has to be okay...Wherever he is, he's okay. And without even knowing that it was Paolo who was holding her, Samantha felt as if everything turned black.
