CURLS & CHESTNUTS, let's get straight to the point. athena has a unique face, body, and posture from the beginning and up. her hair is something that doesn't belong in the family. maybe the color would, considering the dark hue, but as for the texture, it simply doesn't belong. then again, having a drug addict run away mother and a perverted father probably gay for his own brother didn't help anything whatsoever. when athena robs people, she doesn't go for the casualties. she goes for what she needs. being in this society, at first she never thought she had to impress anyone. however, then her childhood friend daphne hayes started to change, and so athena followed along, and started stealing hair care products from hotels and people's showers. it's the only way she has made her hair doable in such horrible livings such as the shaks. most of the accessories on her head, such as the popular headband, is most likely stolen goods.
PURSED LIPS, athena's face is commonly a pale one, even for being a california girl. then again, athena isn't the type to call you up and say; 'like oh my god, let's go tanning'. not at all, for this girl is commonly found in the libraries or her own home, simply trying to use her education and lack of money to go somewhere with her life. and especially with the pressures of college, well, she's going to be the one whom is stressing every little bit of her work. anyways, she has very thin eyebrows, which can easily show expression when she does a simply movement with them. happiness to sadness, just look at those eyebrows. her eyes are described as half moon circles, with a common 'i'm smarter than you' kind of glare, or a simple bored look. their color is an obvious brown, nothing to extravagant as a blue or green. her lips are the different part. very much pursed, very red, and petite yet full. they are a medium that don't go into luscious, hot brazilian, nor to thin surfer smile. it's a very.. well.. eloquent set of lips. fits her personality.
LITTLE FOOT, like a lot of characters i do (hardy har har) this girl is pretty petite and light. her height isn't exactly crazy short such as coco's; 5'5". however, she's a very tiny girl, and maybe that goes along with her eating habits. she exercises, sometimes. but who has the time when they're working on being california's, no, the world's most grand genius? yet, wanting to go into the medical field when she is older, she is in search of a good diet. it's one of those things like when you read about something so much, such as global warming or a certain politician, you support it and believe in it. too much to cross the lines to mc. donalds or burger king. she'll have her moments, but she's into experimenting tai food, sushi, and such. she is almost in her own cloud. a cloud that she isn't a part time criminal, and has a crazy family. in her mind, she's rich among the lot of them and living a fantasy. funny, considering athena is more logical than dreamlike.
Personality:
NAME BRAIN, so, the title of this personality paragraph, wondering what it means? the name athena from greek mythology means wise, knowledgeable. and damn, that is one trait that athena really knows how to flaunt. she'll never get drunk and lose control of herself, to look like a fool. she'll never cry in front of everyone to look pathetic. she'll never accept being wrong in a classroom, or not having a perfect grade. you got it - she's a smart bitch. ever since grade school, she's been having a life consisting of crime and books. maybe the rest of her family wasn't the same, maddox doing some pornos, and her mother running away. athena was named from her grandmother, before her mother shunned her grandmother from ever seeing her daughter again. her grandmother had been a wise woman, the only one with morals, and saw something in athena that would stand out. yes, she's still not perfect. but she's got the brains to go where she wants to go. you see, even after sexual rampages, instead of showering or lighting up a smoke, she'll sit in bed reading anatomy. that's hot.
MISCHIEVOUS, athena isn't innocent. she has no nice intentions. she's pretty conniving, cruel and doesn't exactly think for the common good. this personality trait really relies on her side profession, and is the only way she allows herself to do what she does. truth be told, athena does enjoy that adrenaline rush of doing something completely against the rules. in school, she may be smart, but it's not likely to call herself a goody two shoes. it's not that she plays immature pranks on people, but more of she talks back to the professor when they're wrong. or, she cuts class in order to see a anatomy convention her class didn't get enough permission slips to see. athena has a thick pride where she believes she's above the law and the people whom restrict themselves in it. viperous and mischievous, she's not your one way ticket to heaven, because most likely, she's going to go the other way down. and she very well knows that. but hey, she's only looking out for herself and her career. maybe some friends in between, but that's it.
INDEPENDENT, athena didn't have many friends till maybe the fifth grade. period. despite that she lived in valkyrie, she never made friends. that is mainly her fault. she tends to push people out whom she doesn't think are smart and reliable. whom aren't like her. judgmental a bit, she shed off that shield in fifth grade when a girl ran up to her and asked what the organ system was. and didn't run away with grief. then, of course, she got a friend. sometimes it escalates, sometimes it's a downfall. it's a flaw that athena cares only about her grades rather than actual people. she's not socially awkward, if that's what you think. athena just doesn't usually like people in general. there are some exceptions, for the people that have made it into her life by proving it. once you prove that you can be in athena's life, by maybe loyalty or showing some great outstanding mathematic equation, then she'll allow you in. then again, she enjoys being that mysterious beauty hidden in a surgery book.
CLASSY COLD, and of course, this girl has got class. no ass though, sorry. she acts as if she's something from pride and prejudice, where she speaks in tones that are intelligent. she is like a computer chip, speaking in a girl tone and girl body. when she's with strangers, you can pretty much call athena chiped ice. she's cold to strangers, especially for the ones that try too hard or simply act like a complete dumbass. oh yes, profanity. athena doesn't use it. she believes that the more you use things such as those words, the next step will be alcohol binges and sex rampages like the high school sluts of valkyrie. athena doesn't plan on being that. granted she'll have her flings, but she tries her best not to get attached in high school relationships. ever. even when doing crimes on the streets, she'll be the one who can hack into the computer systems, or find the codes that her pathetic family can't comprehend. okay, well besides maddox. she's a cold hearted boy trap, babydoll.

History:
PARENTS, PARENTS, Annabella and John, a golden couple with golden dreams and golden ambitions. Seriously, if you were to pinpoint which two lovebirds would burst into golden statues at any time in their life, it would be those two. Annabella and John truly had it all while living in the Upper East Side of New York. Annabella came from a prestigious all girls school, with cute uniforms and evening charities thrown by the 'WASP' mothers. John came from a private all boys school, from a somewhat less prestigious background. Together, it was like lighting and sand, crystallizing to beautiful glass. That was, till John's brother simply 'went off the deep end', or so they called it. And when Annabella and John attended Julliard (her for her dancing, him for his acting) they fell into pressure. Incredible amounts, to be precise. Eventually, they hung around John's estranged brother more and more, until finally, they were hooked into a horrible scene. Their new habits, friends, and trends led the golden Annabella and John to be kicked out of Julliard, for good. And disowned by their 'ever so loving wealthy' parents.
BIRTH, John's father lived in Valkyrie, California. So, when Annabella found out that her eggo was preggo, he decided to flee them from New York. Yet, little did they know that the habits they obtained from New York would come back to haunt them, and become their own drugs. While Annabella was pregnant, John tried to find a living with no money, and especially to pay for not only rent, but for their new needs. So, he started to make crimes, having his brother come along for the ride. Uncle Rhodes. Together, while Annabella relaxed on the couch, trying not to burn the fetus with much needed nostalgic scotch... they were pickpocketing. Sneaking into homes and taking jewelry. It was on one occasion when they were about to go into a arcade heist when Annabella called. She was in labor. They had money, but now there was a kid on the way. In November, Maddox was born. And soon after came Athena.
YOUTH, Athena didn't like the way she was grown up, mainly because she stuck out like a sore thumb. And despite she didn't receive the horrible beatings that her older brother got, she was emotionally hurt. A child should never be raised the way the Rhodes children were, those parents compensating for what they could of been and what they used to be by stealing the things of other parents. The parents that didn't go off the deep end. After Athena was born, her mother ran away from the family, leaving it to be just Maddox and her pitiful father. But that's when, even at such a young age of Maddox and Athena, her father had a choice to make. Either take care of the kids, throw them out, or put them to use. He put them to use - making them a scenery for crimes. He was somewhat of an old bachelor at this time, for him and Uncle Rhodes would do crazy crazy things. Not always the best, especially when it came to the rough parts of the childhood. It was when Maddox and Athena were only children that her father and uncle drugged them. They took out the camera. They taped. And they sent it to sick companies. Their excuse? They needed money.
PRETEEN, As Athena got older, she started getting colder with her age. She resorted her free time from thinking about her family to thinking about knowledge. Of course, she was quick to follow the knowledge path when she was a child, but she was very much obsessed when she became a preteen. That was also during the time that her brother was getting more wild, and Athena was simply trying to keep a stable ground for the two of them. But of course, puberty, they were cracking. And as a middle school girl, she would have her daily routine. Wake up with coffee, (yes she started that trend early), go to school, maybe an after school activity, ride her bike home and get ready for the night rendezvous. It wasn't the criminal activity that started keeping her up late by the time she was thirteen; it was the homework and extra credit that she would always strive to make perfect. Yes, Athena is very much a perfectionist.
NOW A DAY, She hasn't changed much since then. Maybe less socially retarded, and probably more of loathing people in general more now. She plans on doing something with her life, despite all the constant things that hold her back. Athena has a sixth sense about the second semester term this year.. that in some way, more drama is on her way. Will you prove her theory right? Or will she be lost in the universe spaces of this mad world with Einstein on the brain?
