I would be lying if I said that the Mitchell children where ugly, in actual fact they where all stunning. Thank god for his good genes. So what did Jules think of himself then? Well in his eyes he was fucking royalty, bow down to this sexy tanned sex god alright? Because seriously this guy is damn fine and he knows its. He has a structured look about him, not perfect but it was the way he was meant to look starting with his face and defined bone structure. His eyes are a mix of murky green and blue something that really stands out against his olive skin - He was blessed like his mother to inherit their grandmothers complexion – despite having a scruffy look about him, his features can be described as feminine at times and Jules had been called – much to his disgust – a pretty boy.
Jules isn't the tallest guy around either, standing at only 5'7; Jules would say he is rather average in the height department, over the years he has grown well toned, from playing lacrosse and swimming competitively in his earlier teen years he was rather scrawny and gawky looking. However Jules is a lazy ass boy and exercise for him rarely happens considering he gets puffed jogging up the stairs at the mansion. One thing Jules adores about himself are his brunette locks, another thing he inherited from his grandmother. Is he obsessed by his hair? No, but he likes it all the same. He keeps it well groomed but slightly tossled - not that he would admit that he is going for a particular look. Facial hair is something the male frequently has as well and not because he enjoys it either he finds it itchy and irritating at times, but is too lazy to shave or maintain it.
Clothing is not something he is really fussed on and his style is filled with thrown together vintage band t-shirts, jeans and sneakers. He is a fan of hoodies and loves quirky t-shirts with slogans and tripped out patterns - the druggie artist coming out in him - but for those high class functions, Jules doesn't mind reppin' it in an Armani suit but he would just prefer to look casual, though it does look a tad tripped out at times. Jules is a guy that likes to laugh and cause a scene so it's no surprise that the guy is often seen grinning and laughing, none of this tortured artist business though he can be brooding at times. Jules's teeth a relatively straight, except for a few crooked ones along the bottom due to refusing braces when he was younger. his lips are pouty and kissable, but his crooked arrogant grin would suggest otherwise.

Jules isn't your typical moody, tortured artist. Angry at life or trying to make a difference through his art. No, not at all Jules knows he is good at painting and he doesn't need to make money through it or try and influence people, he does it because he likes it and he can express himself. He could care less if that painting of a homeless man in NYC made you cry, Jules only painted it because he liked it and it struck a cord with him emotionally not you, he couldn't give a shit about how you feel about his art. Jules isn't one to take in other peoples opinions about things he does or cares about, he will listen to them give a short response - either a yes or no answer, or a nod - and then move on. Jules hates being stuck on the small issues in life, wallowing in ones problems is depressing and pathetic Jules is very much a live in the 'now' kind of guy and has little regard for the consequences of his actions.
It's those reckless actions that tend to get him into trouble, at times Jules can be extremely hot headed and not think things through before acting them out, this is very apparent when he is frustrated or angry about a certain situation or person. He hates it when things don't go his way and will do anything to make it turn to his favor. Jules is well known for his unstable temper often lashing out a people who annoy him when he is on a major drug bend. At times he (actually most of the time) he is stubborn and won't listen to reason, when his mind is set on something Jules won't let anyone even his family convince him or persuade him otherwise.
For a rich guy bought up by parents with high morals and manners, Jules certainly doesn't have any. He is rude to people he doesn't know, because really if he doesn't know them why should their feelings affect him? His lifestyle is unhealthy with frequent drug use. However the boy doesn’t drink alcohol very often, it repulses him at least when he has downed a few pills or smoked a couple of joints he is still in complete control of his actions, he may be a little more boisterous or spontaneous but he still has control over his body, unlike most drunks, living the majority of his life in France the boy has picked up a nasty smoking habit you rarely find him without one hanging out his mouth. So very European.
Jules arrogance is shown all to often, around figures of authority or people he thinks are beneath him which is 90% of the population. There a few people Jules actually cares about and would protect which are his family and close friends, even then he doesn’t show them that he cares all to often, the boy isn’t good at portraying feelings of sympathy or comfort. If you can give him something that will benefit him, he will care other then that he couldn't give a damn about you and is all for benefiting himself.
Family is something he is extremely passionate about, sure he argues with his old man whenever they catch up and they really rarely see eye to eye, the man is still his Father and Jules really does deep, deep, deep down want to make the man proud. He loves his family and while he wont listen to them or take their advice he still cares for them deeply. He feels obliged to be protective over his older sister, even if she is older. Jules has always been close with his brother Broaden, they grew up living the same lifestyle, but now not so much. In a way Jules is a protector, always looking out for the people or things he cares about and doing everything in his power to make sure they remain safe and if he thinks or believes a certain person or factor in their life is damaging them Jules will go to any lengths to stop that force.
Ever seen the movie Peter Pan, how he never wanted to grow up, well that’s Jules Mitchell. He stays away from anything that involves responsibility on his behalf and his behaviour can be described as being a spoiled little brat, oh the downfalls of being given everything on a golden platter. Blame the parents.
Jules likes the women as well, and to put it mildly the guy is a slut. If he thinks a girl or women is hot or would be a good fuck, he will have sex with them with no mind for the consequences. For all he knows he could have a child or two out there, not like he would give a fuck anyway. Jules despises children they freak him out in a way he associates them with commitment something he is not a fan of at all. He has only been in one relationship in which he hasn't cheated on the girl and that lasted a week before he broke it off. The reason for doing so? He wanted to sleep with her friend and cause he liked the girl wanted to spare her feelings and dump her before he did it. Jules is a jerk, really.

oh jules mathias mitchell, the baby boy and the shining star. the youngest born child of caleb and aceline mitchell, jules was born in la rochelle, france the birth place of his mother. she had wanted her final child to be born a french citizen so for five months leading up to his birth, caleb and aceline spent their days living in the ocean side manor that aceline grew up in. jules was a beautiful baby boy, olive skinned and brunette like his mother but he inherited his fathers striking blue eyes - he was a gorgeous baby, his nannies cooed over him. well of course they would because they ultimatley were the ones raising him.
like most children growing up with wealthy parents, jules life was one filled with material possesions and little love, with a father constantly jetting off for work and a mother who was more interested in plastic surgery and charity events then her own children, jules received little love from his parents. when he was three years old his parents decided to move back to california, america with jules and his two older siblings. maybe if they had stayed to live in france things would of been different, but the life of jules mathias mitchell was always going to be a turbulant one, like a car crash to gruesome to look at, but your far too interested to actually look away and thats how many people would view the life of this boy growing up they would inwadly cringe but he was far to interesting and enigmatic to not have in your life.
elementary school was easy for jules, a boy from money had instant popularity but none of that mattered to jules back then, he was content to sit in the classroom during 'play time' where he would draw and paint. even at a young age he was a creative kid. but while he was living an uneventful life during his early years of schooling his parents lives are something entirely different. caleb was still the ceo of his international investment banking business with firms in sydney, new york, tokyo, los angeles, paris and belgium the mitchell's rolled in the money but of course caleb was rarely if ever home what they didn't know and wouldn't know for years to come is that caleb had a nasty little habit of sleeping around, and this would eventually destory aceline.
no one can pin point the certain moment in time when jules mitchell changed, maybe it was when he found videos of his dads sexual relations with underage hookers or when he found his sister passed out on the bathroom floor after overdosing on pain killers, but he changed. for the most part of his life he had been a quiet boy, keeping to himself of course acting like a spoiled brat at times but he was polite and well mannered a little socially inept when it came to treating other people with respect, he was always told by his father that they 'the mitchell's' were better then everyone else. maybe thats what screwed him up so badly, when all the dirty little secrets came out, when jules finally realised that they weren't better then everyone else and it scared him.
he was fourteen when he really started acting out badly, a student at valkyrie academy and a rich one at that, he started attending the parties, drinking the alcohol and snorting the drugs. nine months of heavy alcohol and cocaine abuse can hardly go unnoticed and when he was caught with cocaine at school, jules was expelled and well what did aceline and caleb mitchell do? well what any loving parents would, exiled him to a boarding school in france. see what you do with your problems? hide them away, unfortunatley for caleb and aceline they couldn't hide theirs anymore.
aceline hadn't been in love with caleb for years, she stayed with him for the security but he was killing her on the inside the constant cheating and she couldn't turn a blind eye to it anymore, and the fact he was in a relationship with the ex-wife of his old partner george parker was the icing of the divorce cake. the divorce was nasty and bitter, with aceline moving to new york and taking the two eldest kids broaden and grace with her. being in a mansion estate alone can make one very lonely, so what did caleb mitchell do as soon as the divorce papers cleared, oh moved to australia to be with his 'new' love diana parker and her three children adrian, bailey and jennifer to play happy family.
jules still in france, was making a name for himself. not only at the school selling drugs to the other 'troubled' students but also as an artist on the streets of paris. he knew the divorce of his parents was inevitable but it didn't stop the initial shock when his mother finally called him and told him, she begged him to come and live with her but jules still worse for wear, refused. he threw himself into his painting and his drug use, slowly killing himself.
the next time he saw his parents was at his fathers wedding to the diana woman, aceline was still bitter and angry but she had attended the wedding to see jules. he was high at the wedding, uncaring, cynical and blunt. he didn't give a shit about these people and as soon as the reception ended jules was shoved on the next flight back to paris. still the mitchells' black sheep, he felt like some dirty secret and he knew that his father was ashamed of him and yeah two or three years ago jules would of cared, but now he didn't give a shit. why should he? what did jules mitchell possibly have to care about except himself?
the jules mitchell life train derailed some more, back at school he wasn't showing up for classes, smoking pot heavily and snorting coke like it was going out of fashion. when they finally expelled him, jules finally felt relief for the first time in years. he went on the road, bought himself a shit old motorcycle and started travelling around europe, not answering his parents calls and ignoring everyone he had ever cared for. his carefree ride came to an end when he finally spoke to his father and found out about a shooting that had taken place at valkyrie academy, a shooting which took the life of his youngest step sister. he had hardly known the girl, but when his father begged him to come home he did, with two conditions he could live alone and his father would get him back into the academy.
now back in valkyrie and back at the academy, jules is just being jules. arrogant, cocky, uncaring, an all around asshole but as always with these valk kids there is more then meets the eye.
