PERSONAL STYLE: though her father definitely disapproves, sarai is a huge fan of wearing revealing clothing. she does not show off her body in a vulgar way but she does have an appreciation for bikini’s, tank tops, and shorts. if she was to live her life in the manner her father wanted her to she would be wrapped from head to toe in clothes with little but her eyes showing. sarai absolutely adores her father, but there is no way she could ever surrender her love of clothing to make him that much more appeased.

BEST MEMORY: “telling my mother where she could shove it the day that i left the business. i swear, it was the greatest thing in the world to see the shock on her face.”
WORST MEMORY: “seeing my mother and father separate. i loved seeing her go, but i hate the effect it had on my father.”
OVERALL PERSONALITY: first and foremost, sarai is very family oriented. her father is the leading man in her life and grew up on the basis of very strict, israeli morals in which men were rather superior and women were to obey and stay silent about it all. though this set of morals was somewhat downgraded from generation to generation, lev still holds a great deal of merit for such basics as respecting one’s family, the sanctity of marriage, and the appreciation for the home. all of which he passed down to his eldest daughter, sarai. she absolutely adores her father and understands his ‘old world’ set of rules and morals and she’s happy to live by most of them. all they have shown her is how dedicated the world renowned surgeon is to his family. sarai was taught that family comes first above all else. such things as respect for her father and her sister were crucial, she simply chose to leave her mother out of it all. lucille montgomery is sarai’s seemingly only exemption to any and all rules of family. she’s known since she was a child just how manipulative she is, and has not one bit of trust for her. sarai knows that lucille married lev simply because he was a big shot neurosurgeon who would make tons of money, enough to fund her dream of a clothing line/store for herself. she also knows that the minute lucille finally got what she wanted, she swore off the family completely. sarai has no respect for the woman and loathes so much as calling lucille her mother. her little sister ainsley is extremely close to sarai’s heart. she adores the little girl as if she were her own and does just about anything with her from going to the park to playing with her indoors when it rains.
apart from holding family virtues so dear, sarai has a great passion for education and caring for others. she’s always been an extremely studious child. it was embedded in her as a youngster that homework came before everything else and that it had to be done. she grew up as a brainiac, which tended to be her downfall when it came to making friends, but she flew through school with practically all a’s. sarai was the youngest of her graduating class, having skipped a year somewhere in elementary school, and flew through her first year of college with ease. she’s now on her third year with an early admission into the internship program at valkyrie hospital. sarai has always had a vast amount of compassion towards those who were less fortunate than her, so naturally a position in the hospital is just what suits her style. stitching wounds, wrapping casts on a broken leg, and working the e.r. is definitely sarai’s cup of tea. she’s very proud that she has accomplished so much and made her father so proud and though she’s unsure of what field she wants to practice in, sarai is extremely happy to be walking in her father’s footprints.
even though sarai wasn’t all that sociable, or socialized, as a child, now that her life has calmed down and worked itself into a kind of rhythm she’s very happy to make new friends. she’s a strange creature, and often gets anxious when things calm down and there’s nothing to talk about short of how the weather has been. she’s not one for small talk, at all. if someone can get on a subject she loves like working at the hospital, beaches, what she wants out of life, or her family, sarai can talk for days, but anything like shopping, what shoes are in style , or how ridiculous britney spears has gotten, really doesn’t keep her interest for long. aside from being awkward to talk to, sarai comes across as a very elegant, very dignified person, similar to someone born in an age to which they don’t belong. if asked, sarai would say that she was supposed to be born twenty, thirty, even forty years ago and that this era just doesn’t suit her.

HISTORY: “my history tends to be a little of both boring and interesting. there’s not a time when i really feel like just any normal kid, i suppose that’s no one’s fault but my own. but i’m getting off track. history, history, well i guess the best place to start would be with my parents and how they met yes? well my father, lev inbar, is a neurosurgeon. before i was born he did a lot of work in third world countries, performing surgeries for people who could not afford it and such. i’m pretty sure it was doctors without borders, but i could be mistaken. it was on his trip back that he’d met my mother, lucille montgomery. he said he fell in love with her somewhere over the pacific. they’d met on the plane headed back to los angeles, where my father was based, dated for a while and got married shortly after.
from what he tells me, things changed after lucille got pregnant with me. he says that her personality flipped from the woman he’d fallen in love with to some money-grabbing stranger halfway through her pregnancy. she got the idea in her head to make a clothing line and become famous, or something like that, and she refused to go out and make the money herself to fund the thing. my opinion is that she played up some false personality in order to trick my father, because she wanted his money, and i’ve never really had any respect for her after i came to terms with that. anyways, my father refused her because it was against his beliefs, i think she wanted to start with a lingerie line of something and my father just wanted no part of it.
after trying for a few years, i was born by this time, my mother gave up and just settled for spiting my father. she did this by just shopping and spending his money. whatever she could get her hands on went on her credit card. that was how my childhood was spent, watching my mother hassle my father for money and shopping it all away and watching my father deal with that kind of frustration while also trying to make a living and support the three of us. i did my absolute best to make things easier for my father. i studied hard, i made excellent grades and really excelled in school. it was a wonderful moment to see just how proud and grateful he was of me.
things took a little bit of a turn when i was around sixteen or seventeen. my mother actually managed to weasel her way into getting what she really wanted, that clothing line. it was around this same time that lucille became pregnant with a second child, my little sister ainsley. i’m pretty sure it was my sister that she used to get her clothing line, funded by my father of course, and worst of all she had me modeling for her. i didn’t necessarily mind being the face of my mother’s work, but it absolutely infuriated my father. my mother put me in bikini’s on the beach for photo shoots, which i had no problem with, and had me do other work for her. i can’t say i’d really minded but i knew that all of this really disappointed my father. anyways, after my sister was born my mother bombed us with yet another surprise, she was divorcing my father. she sued him for as much money as she could get from him, surrendering my baby sister for even more, and then she took off.
you could say that’s why i hate her so much. it was at that moment that i had truly lost all respect for her. she absolutely destroyed the one thing my father held most dear, the sanctity of marriage. that pretty much leads us to present day. i ditched my mother when i turned eighteen, getting out of the business as quickly as possible and storing the money i’d made safely away where she couldn’t touch it. i now take care of my sister in valkyrie, the place we moved after the divorce. i’m on my third year of college and i’m working as an intern at valkyrie hospital. i’d say things are looking up for us now that that horrid woman is out of the picture.

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:
MARISSA VIVIENNE SINCLAIR
SUNDAY, JUNE 2009
-----alot can happen in a year. it always seemed like marissa found it out the hard way. first marissa learned her independence on her own. loosing your parents isn't the easiest thing to go through in your life. it's the kind of thing that changes you and changes the way you look at life. it can put things in persepective or it can blur everything around you to simply make no sense. marissa experienced the loss of both of her parents in that haze. she had walked around like a robot, doing things simply because she had to but never really putting her heart into it. after a while she'd gotten back to being her own self but there was still a piece of her that never felt the same again. she wasn't sure she'd ever feel as whole as she had back those three years ago when she had her parents. but that was in the past. though it hurt, the sting had dulled over time to the point where she looked like herself. you could never find two greater people. and even if no one else missed them, marissa knew just how much more dull the world seemed without them. as long as she remembered them and never forgot, loosing them would eventually not hurt anymore.
-----but if there was anyone who truly broke marissa, it was the one person who's name she swore she would never say again. it wasn't that she'd absolutely fallen in love with him, but so soon after her parent's death she'd really let herself trust him. marissa had been happy. they enjoyed spending tons of time together and at that time marissa hadn't had a care in the world about the fact that he was a celebrity or that people followed his every move with a camera, eventually catching her in a frame or two. she didn't know that her carefree relationship would give him everything he'd needed to drag her name through the dirt. things were picture perfect up until the surprise ending of the second season of the island when they had killed off his character. he should have known it was a possibility when they had shot three separate endings but marissa guessed that he'd simply assumed his character was too vital for the show to be killed off. after the end of the season, he'd become so incredibly angry. marissa hadn't seen anything like it and their relationship had been what suffered. suffered, hell the thing had died a slow and painful death. and when it was all over, he was there, in front of the cameras and the paparazzi, dragging her name through the dirt as if it had been her fault.
-----but marissa was through with that pain. that was why she was so completely reserved and hesitant with owen. she never would have believed she could trust another celebrity the way she had...him but there was just something about owen that drew her in. no matter how many reservations she had about trusting owen, it seemed like it was inevitable for her to open up to him somehow. she didn't trust him yet. truth be told she wasn't sure she really did want to trust someone like that again, but she was working on it. his persistence made her smile, and it was all so out of the blue. one day she was working and they'd met, and the next thing she knew he was asking her out and she found herself tempted to say yes. she hadn't the first few times. marissa had thought for sure that owen walker would have moved on to the next girl, or his 'girlfriend' for that matter, but she'd been wrong. she'd been very wrong. owen stuck around and he kept on trying. marissa found it admirable and though she was still skeptical, she was willing to give him a chance. she would hold on hard to her heart, but she would still give him a chance.
-----marissa turned off her computer with a smile before she rose from her chair. she walked into her bathroom and turned on the shower to let it heat while she searched her closet for an outfit. she grabbed a black blouse, a pair of jeans, and her most comfortable heels. she laid everything out on her mattress and turned her attention to the bathroom once again. she pulled off her t-shirt and shorts before she stepped into the shower. she bathed quickly, smiling as the hot water raced over her body. once she was clean she turned off the water and wrapped he closet towel quickly around her, securing it under her arms. grabbing a rag, marissa wiped the steam from the mirror, running her fingers through her hair once she could see her reflection. she made quick work of drying and styling her hair. once dressed, marissa quickly hopped in her car and made it to the club before she was late. "hey louie, how's it going tonight?" marissa asked the bouncer as she slid past the growing line at the door. "it's a little slow tonight babe. looks like it'll be a little dull." a slight flush came to her lips as she sauntered through the door and behind the counter. "now that i doubt." she whispered as she got orders and began dishing them out with expert precision. she was so caught up in work that she'd almost missed owen when he'd slipped onto a stool in front of the bar. "oh is that the word going around? maybe that's why it's picked up a little tonight." marissa replied with a smirk. she slid a rum and coke down the bar and gave owen her full attention. "what'll it be. when you sit at the bar you have to order something." she said with a smirk.
-----a loud argument caught marissa's attention. she looked down the bar to see two guys facing one another, so close their foreheads were almost touching. she rolled her eyes as curse words were tossed back and forth, confirming what marissa had hoped wasn't happening. "guys knock it off!" she called in an attempt to break them up from a distance. she groaned when she saw the guys still ready to get physical. god she hated fights. marissa hopped onto the bar and waved a warning to the bouncer before she hopped onto the customer's side of the bar and worked her way over to the guys. "enough or you'll have to leave." she said loud enough to be heard over the music. sadly it wasn't enough to stop the two guys. one second marissa was looking over the heads of the crowd for the bouncer and the next she saw a fist crack into the side of the other guy's face. "crap!" she cried, jumping back at the same time as the pair of grunting, angry men fell at her feet.[/quote]
