BEST MEMORY: “my best memory has to be when my father gave me my first job. he laughed at me when i got all this background information on my mark, but i shut him up quick when i had to use the guy’s family as leverage. i got my way and i didn’t even have to touch my gun. it was the first time my father told me he was proud of me.”
WORST MEMORY: “when my father made me watch his kill workers who’d rebelled against him to desensitize me to the business.”
OVERALL PERSONALITY: if there’s one thing you can be certain of, it’s that you will never see maggie coming until it’s far too late. it’s as if there are two sides to the girl, one you never see in place of the other. there is the good girl, the school girl, the socialite, the privileged senior in high school who loves to party, drink, and chain smokes like it’s going out of style. then there’s the bad girl, the daughter of the leader of the mexican drug cartel, the manipulator and enforcer. she’s someone you would never expect to do the dirty work for juan corinthos, sr., and she will take you by surprise every time. maggie is extremely devious. there’s never a moment in time when she is not calculating her every move or even every word that comes out of her mouth. everything is planned, she rarely deviates from her plan unless her life is at stake, and she’s very prone to getting what she wants, when she wants it.
maggie is most often shrugged off, or overlooked, in the business, which is a big mistake for just about anyone because of just how badly she has the ability to hurt someone. she never goes into a situation without knowing everything there is to possibly know about her opponent. that’s how she sees someone doing business with her as, an opponent. she finds a person’s weak spots, all of their dirty laundry, and she makes no mistake of making her intentions known the minute she walks through the door. she’ll know everything about your family, from your kids all the way down to your great-great grandparents. anyone still breathing is fair game when it comes to threats, and maggie follows through with threats that she makes until she gets what she, or her family, wants. she’s the perfect hit man, totally unexpected, totally overlooked, and one of the deadliest sharp shooters when it comes to guns. unless you’d already met her, or known her by name or reputation, you’d just suspect her as being one in the crowd. she’s just that good.
and maggie makes a point to keep her business and social life as far away from one another as she can possibly get. she’s never mixed the two, she’s never had to, and she never wants to. she easily makes friends with her “normal kid” persona and she easily plays herself off as just being some dorming high school senior at valkyrie academy. an honest kid with good grades and a bit of a drinking problem, the chain smoker, the kid with the in. aside from her business life, maggie is just a kid. she makes no moves to overtake her family, or the family business, but she’s addicted to the power. she loves having all the money she could ever need, she loves never getting into major trouble with the law because her father has connections with every major politician and judge from california to washington d.c. best of all, maggie never lets it get to her head. on the outside she’s a warm, outgoing student, but on the inside maggie’s as cold and calculating as they come.

HISTORY: “i don’t tell my history much so listen up and listen good because i’m not repeating anything, nor am i telling this story again. my name is magdelena gabriella esmerelda corinthos and yes i do use my full name when i have to, but it’s a mouthful so i only like having to say it when i have to get my point across to someone. anywhere else, anytime, any place, you call me maggie, or some variation of the name. you did hear right, my last name is corinthos, just like that drug lord in mexico, what a coincidence. only it‘s not a coincidence because the man is my father. powerful, conniving, a total bastard if you weren’t family or someone working close to him, yep, him. i was born in america, conveniently i’m a citizen, my mother got pregnant with me when she was vacationing in mexico, found out who my father really was up until she had about a month left of her pregnancy and left him. she wound up back in the states and went into labor with me in some hospital just outside the mexican border. anyways, and this is the part i find hilarious, i mean my mother was clueless if she couldn’t tell who my father was in my opinion. if you couldn’t tell that the huge, and i mean huge, marble mansion smack dab in the middle of tijuana was the house of a drug lord, surrounded by guards and harder to get into than fort knox, then you’re just plain stupid. i hate to admit that my mother was an idiot, but well…she was, but back to me. after my mother had given birth and they took me away to get me cleaned up and clothed, my father showed up. you know how, under normal conditions, a nurse walks in and hands you your sparkly clean, brand spankin’ new baby? well picture the same scene but my father there in place of the nurse with me in his arms.
my mother, being the idiot that she is, listened to my father as he coerced her to move back to tijuana and live with him there as his new wife. they got married in some big celebration with all of the families brought together. oh right. i forgot to mention. my mother wasn’t the first wife of juan corinthos sr. technically she was the second. from what i’d heard he’d slept around a lot before her but my mother was the second women he’d gotten pregnant. his first wife was probably his true love, i can’t always be sure but according to my step-brothers he doesn’t look at my mother or his most recent wife like he ever did their mother. that’s probably true. J.r., my oldest step-brother, was about two when his mother died. they’d said she died of cancer but after a little bit of digging i found out that she’d been kidnapped and killed by a rival cartel that no longer exists, and i think you know why. after that he’d slept around, met my mother, had me, married my mother, and had my sister, bella. i’m guessing the heat between juan and my mother pretty much died down after bellz because only about two years after she was born my father cheated and dominic was the result of that. my mother did the smart thing for once in her life and divorced juan but apparently couldn’t bring herself to really leave him. we stayed in tijuana in a house he’d had built especially for my mother, my sister and i just on the outskirts of his estate where he could keep an eye on us.
juan remarried, to dominic’s mother, and things were pretty calm after that. it was only about four years ago he wound up getting her pregnant again. i love the man but he really needs to learn to keep it in his pants. it was about the time that hannah was born that i first started doing work for my father. i was fourteen at the time, a fairly rebellious kid, and my father took me in from my mother to quiet me down and decided to teach me the ways of the business. my mother, being the eternal pushover she was, just let him. i doubt that she really cared at that point. that was the one thing i was glad she never stood up for. i love the business. i’m addicted to the power and the control and though i’ll probably never run the business, seeing as how it gets handed down to a male ‘heir’ so to speak and i’m third oldest behind two brothers, i still love whatever power i get. anyways when he took me in he taught me everything i needed to know about protecting myself, and what he didn’t teach me the rest of his minions did teach me. i worked my first job when i was fifteen, hassling some shop owner for a payment i was due. what a rush. i’d done a little digging beforehand, which my father laughed about, but when things got a little sticky and i had to resort to threats it came quite in handy. i got the payment, without help from my bodyguards, and brought it back to my father. it was the first time he’d ever said he was proud of me. i didn’t know it at the time but that was my first official job and i was now a part of the family business.
i’ve been working for the man ever since, by the time i was sixteen i was working on my own, by seventeen i was organizing and in control of my own little…element so to speak. a few months ago i came up with the brilliant plan to start smuggling into the states. i was the only kid of his that was a citizen so he was a little more game for letting me do this on my own. so now i’m in valkyrie, running my own portion of the business incognito from the rest of the world. i see it as a rush. i’m doing this for my father, to prove myself to him, but at the same time i’m wielding my own power and calling the shots. it’s a trip. i smuggle drugs into the states, get it into big cities, keep half the profit for myself and send the rest back home. what better deal is there?
