The Hair:
Since birth, Andrea has had a fiery red head of hair that matches her equally fiery personality. Unlike most girls, she absolutely loves her hair because of it. Andrea couldn't really imagine a more perfect hair color for her than the brilliant red that it is. Since she was a small girl, she has always loved playing with her hair, putting it in new hairstyles for various days, or just because she felt like it. For example, in the fifth grade, she chopped it all off one night, just so that she could do new and exciting things with it.
The Complexion:
For as long as she can remember, Andrea has always had a good complexion. Not too oily, but can have a few dry spells. The normal acne plague that roamed during the late years of middle school narrowly avoided her, thanks to the latest in facial creams that she received from her father. After all, his trophy child couldn't run around with zits all over her face. So, years of meticulous face washing and organic make up gives her only a few break outs during the year, mostly when she's going through a heavy stress phase.
The Face:
Really, the only thing Andrea doesn't care for about herself is her nose. To her, it was always too large for her face. Even so, she didn't ever get it done, like most of the Hollywood girls who hated something about themselves. You'd always see someone on the streets who quite obviously had some touch ups here and there. To Andrea, it never was that attractive. So, she kept it there, hoping that someday she'd grow into it.
Even so, she always felt like her big nose was out balanced by her eyes. Since she was little, Andrea had always been a big fan of their deep green hue, and was setting them off with everything she could; eyeliner, clothes, hair. Her eyes were truly the window to her emotions, and could tell you what she was feeling. And of course, she could always use her eyes to win people over. It was a hard practiced skill, but people, especially her father, tended to be suckers for batting eyelashes.
The Body:
As a young, extremely spoiled child, Andrea was more than slightly overweight. Low self esteem and expensive diets kept her that way until about the age of eleven. That was the age when girls in Hollywood started to develop the urge to be like their older, stick skinny counter-parts. So, since then, Andrea has had to work hard to maintain her lithe shape. Naturally, she's proud of her body the way that it is now, and loves showing it off to anyone who will look.
The Style:
Coming from Hollywood, Andrea is very style conscious. Now, whether or not she actually follows the current style is something she chooses to take into her own hands. Fuck what was popular, if she liked something, she was going to wear it. Eventually it would all come back anyways. But, her clothes managed to stay flattering most of the time, unless she was feeling particularly bad about something, when she would pretty much fuck all style and wear anything.

Emotional:
Andrea takes on life with a passion. She feels a lot of things to the extreme, mostly the negative emotions in life. This is mainly because she bottles emotions until it comes off like that. Like the Demtra twins, Andrea became very skilled at hiding how she was really feeling until it filled her entire mind. But for Andrea, this can also be handled with happiness or many of the positive emotions as well. So, many people see her as extreme when something goes wrong. However, most of the time she blocks herself off and become cold as stone, which allows her to come off as a high class bitch.
Loyal:
Even though it may not seem like it sometimes, Andrea is loyal to those that she cares about, which, most of the time, includes her cousins, Emilia and Ben. Otherwise, this is mostly about her brother, Teddy. Teddy is the only person as of now that she really trusts with everything and that knows everything about her. Not surprising, considering that she has been through a lot. Her life isn't an open book, but when she feels enough trust to tell you everything, you'd better not break that trust, or she'll find a way to make your life miserable.
Headstrong:
If there is something that Andrea wants done, she will make sure that it gets completed, one way or another. She's insistent that it gets done her way, most of all, because in her mind, it is the best way. Her stubborn will and pride keeps her from admitting when she's wrong a good portion of the time, unless she has time to sit back and think about what had actually gone on. Even then, it takes a lot for her to come back and apologize for much, let alone mean it.
Flighty:
As weird as it seems, Andrea is the type of person that avoids confrontation. If something gets too hard or intense, she'll just up and leave without a word. Hence why she's in Valkyrie now, as opposed to still being with her father in Hollywood. Socially, if something gets too hard for her, she just ignores the person, hoping that all her problems will just disappear. Unfortunately, that doesn't usually happen for her, but time and time again she does her best to run away from her problems instead of taking care of them.
Addicted:
They say that once you're addicted to something, that thing never leaves your system. For people like Andrea, that statement has never been more true. At the age of eleven, when girls started to care more about what they looked like, Andrea was an overweight little kid that wasn't really much to look at. It was then that she found anorexia, and used it as a solution to her problems. Of course, Teddy found out, but Andrea made him promise not to say anything. She never went to therapy for it, and still occasionally slides back into that part of her life. Adding this with the drug or two that she's gotten mixed with, and it seems that this Hollywood girl is always doing something to take herself down a notch or two.

History:
Alexander Demtra was a big shot movie producer who had a reputation that made him seem almost immortal. That is until he met Jessica McNeil, a brown eyed bombshell that was storming the town of Hollywood, California. Being the hustler that he was, it wasn't long until Alexander had slept with the woman. But it wouldn't be until a year later that he would discover what had completely happened. Because on February 8th of the year 1991, Andrea Justice Demtra came into the world. Jessica had tacked his last name on the baby's certificate as a joke. After all, this was his baby too.
When Andrea was only about three months old, Jessica sent the baby to her father, forcing him to take responsibility of the child. Of course, the tabloids immediately took the story in, demanding to know everything about the child. Jessica willingly told them everything about the 'relationship' to boost her own celebrity status. Alexander quickly shoved the small child under the care of her older brother Teddy and their nanny, skipping out of town as quickly as possible and sending money for when the child needed something.
So, Andrea grew up getting anything she could ever want, with Teddy guarding her every inch of the way. Both the children learned Spanish from their maid, and can still speak it fluently. Under Esperanza's care, they learned about an entirely different culture, and Esperanza's family became almost like their own. So when the nanny decided to move from Hollywood, Teddy decided to make the move with her, and came to Valkyrie. Teddy was almost eighteen at the time anyways, leaving eleven year old Andrea with her father, who had finally come home for a good while.
And so, Alexander and Andrea watched Teddy leave Hollywood; Andrea an overweight, spoiled brat of an eleven year old, and Alexander a clueless father who had no idea what to do with the little bundle of 'joy' that needed his constant attention. Unfortunately, the producer had no idea how to take care of a child, and pretty much left her to be independent. But it was at this stage of her life that Andrea needed someone the most, and was at this point that she would changes for the worse. But hell, eventually she would be praised for it, which was all she wanted from her father.
As we all know, being twelve is weird for a female. Hormones and puberty start kicking in, and girls, especially in Hollywood at the time, start freaking out about their weight and how they look, and begin wearing skirts that are too short and shirts that are too tight. After all, this is California, people. And for this little girl, tabloids were still running around, wondering why it was that her father was never around, and spreading rumors and lies about her and why, suddenly, Andrea was starting to drop pounds at a dramatic rate.
You see, when you're as susceptible as an eleven year old Andrea, and as desperate to be pretty as she was, you would do pretty much anything anyone said. So when someone told her a good way to get the weight off quick was to stop eating and exercise as much as possible, Andrea jumped right on that bandwagon. Soon enough, Andrea's weight fell off her body and she became Hollywood attractive. It took a lot of hard work on her end to become the way she is now, and she wouldn't give it up for the world.
Of course, Alexander wasn't exactly displeased about this transformation. Opting it up to his 'excellent' parenting, Mr. Demtra decided to let his daughter get a taste of the real Hollywood life. After all, it wasn't like she was exactly a secret. So, the producer started taking his daughter to shows and parties, pretty much letting her have free reign over her own life otherwise. Independence was learned at an early age, and is still a lesson she knows well.
The one person who did seem to realize her anorexia was Teddy. On one of the few trips he took back to Hollywood to see her, the watchful brother noticed the way his sister wasn't eating, only drinking water and maybe now and again eating some kind of power bar. Then and there he made a deal with his now thirteen year old sister; she had to come to Valkyrie with him as soon as he could support her there, and in return he wouldn't tell their father about the affliction. Andrea agreed quickly; after all, her father would probably pay for the schooling, and be glad to get the girl off his back.
Otherwise, Andrea's early teenage years went by without a lot of drama that wasn't normal. Like many kids her age, she experimented with drugs and alcohol, and still relies on them to help her get over things or just get through them. It doesn't help much that Teddy started selling what he could get his hands on to help bring her to the new part of California.
She was sixteen when she moved from her father's home and came to Valkyrie. There, she managed to scrape through her sophomore year with grades that weren't phenominal, but good enough. Andrea still relies a lot on her father's money, and Teddy has come to as well, although there are still rough patches now and again. Seeing as he promoted her anorexia, Andrea isn't very impressed with Mr. Alexander Demtra any longer, and hates talking to him. She's happy living with Teddy, though, even though they live in a small Shaks apartment. To her, it's really the only home she's had for ten or so years.
Really the only thing that she doesn't enjoy about the town is the fact that her younger cousins live there. Andrea never really had a good relationship with either Emilia or Ben. She once attempted to take Emilia under her wing, but the little book-worm freak wouldn't have any of it. Andrea tolerates being around them, but it's not like she spends all of her time with her younger kin. In fact, most of the time, she avoids them at all cost, and blames their last name as a matter of coincidence. However, now that Emilia has turned out to be almost cool, Andrea actually allows Emilia to be seen in her presense every once in a while at parties. But hey, they're still family, and she would still stand up for either one of them.
Now that she's seventeen, Andrea Justice Demtra is ready to rock Valkyrie.
