hey there welcome to the new valkyrie! the staff was hard at work the past couple days to revamp and such. we changed, moved some things around and below is a rundown of what we did so you are not confused!
SHIFT TO CITY RP
- yes, as all know, valkyrie started out as a academy rp. well, time has moved on and we've added the university and other colleges, so we're now considered a city rp because we're not just focused primarily on the academy anymore.
- new skin made by the lovely and talented asia.
- revised plot, rules, and face claim
- added an adult application
- cleaned out dead threads
- member deletion
- deleted a lot of inactive character face claims - including some old member's
- moved 'who plays who' and 'thread tracker' boards into the 'character information' category
- moved 'open threads' board to the 'plottage' category
- deleted the p & s board
- added fraternities and sororities in the VU category
- added colleges in the 'other places' category
- deleted houses of inactive members
- new locations (bank, bus station, photo studio, autoshop, dunkin donuts)
- changed the 'valkyrie academy handbook' to hold information about VU as well as including a majors & minors list
- new spotlights
- drop down menus in quick links
- ss post
- re-did ss' blog including new graphics for 'the list'
- made a 'dead characters' archive in the 'dead threads' board for old member's characters
- moved the graphics board into the ooc corner as a sub-board
overall, we wanted valkyrie to be a little bit more organized than we were and we think we did a good job. we hope our hard work paid off and you enjoy the new valkyrie!
